I was pleasantly surprised by this mineral powder at first. I bought the lightest color and it matched my skin nicely. The coverage was also really good. I finally thought I found a mineral makeup that I was happy with and actually had decent coverage. Unfortunately this makeup caused big red pimples to form on my skin. I used it for 4 days and ended up with a big red zit after every time I wore it. Im super acne prone and always dealing with breakouts, but my skin has gotten to the point again where I mainly just get small/regular sized pimples, but this makeup caused some big ones. I tried to tell myself it was just a coincidence that this was happening, but I wore it for two days and got two big pimples and switched to a different makeup for a couple days and was fine and then tried this again for two days and got two more big pimples. I finally realized it was this makeup definitely causing it so I stopped using it over a week ago and haven't had a new big zit since then. I would be cautious with this powder if you're acne prone, but I know everyone's skin is different and it seems to have mainly good reviews so hopefully it works better for others.

WOW. I have tried them all, this one is up there with the best. If you like a more matte, long lasting finish, you have to give this foundation a try.

Goes on beautifully, really nice coverage, even in small amounts. Best to not put on too much, because it can get cakey and dry looking if you do. A small amount buffed in well, with maybe a little extra added in areas where you need more coverage, should work fine. If your skin is oily and you need touchups thru the day, best to just use those little oil blotting tissues, that may be all that you need. Keep in mind that it is winter where I live now, so I am not sure how this makeup would fare in warmer climates.

There is not a huge range of colors, but I had no trouble finding one's that worked for me - both the lightest one, Fair, and the 2nd lightest, 02 Light. One could also mix colors if necessary. I paid less than $8 at the local beauty supply, so the price is AMAZING! I also like the packaging, the sifter comes with an inner lid, which keeps the mess to a minimum.

Highly recommended for MMU users!!

This is a really good mineral foundation, and at a great price. I only wish they had some more color options and it had a bit more lasting power in the summer, when it gets super hot (but every brand of MMU has that problem from what I can tell). It also has never irritated my sensitive skin.

best mmu i've tried so far! i've been using the nude by nature mmu for years now and saw this one in the clearance bin for $5 so I decided to try it out. i wasn't expecting much from it but was really impressed with the coverage (compared to nude) whilst still looking natural. i have pale asian skin and use fair which matches my skin tone well. it covers redness and best of all doesn't break me out! it can cake if you put too much so a little goes a long way. the smell isn't nice but it doesn't bother me that much anymore. could be quite expensive at $27 aud for only a few grams but will definitely repurchase this again. if you want a mineral makeup with good coverage and a matte finish without breaking you out, then this product is for you.

EDIT: I started to get cystic acne and tiny pimples all over my face from using this product. Initially i thought it was due to my diet but this was definitely the culprit. now that i've gone back to Nude by Nature mineral foundation, my skin has gone back to normal and looks so much better now. never using this foundation ever again!

Ingredients list: Mica, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Retinyl Palmitate, Tourmaline, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Copper Powder, Silica. May Contain : Mica CI 77019, Titanium Dioxide CI 77891, Bismuth Oxychloride CI 77163, Manganese Violet CI 77742, Copper Powder CI 77400, Iron Oxides CI 77491/ 77492 / CI 77499.

First of all, it s my first time using mmu. But i kinda really like it! I hope this won;'t break me out :-s The coverage is really good, beyond my expectations, and I might just trade my liquid CK oil free foundation for this one. I use shade Medium Beige which is lovely for medium-tan skin tones. I also own the multitask 3 in 1 from Prestige and I think that both products are really good. Also, if you can buy them at a discount, way to go! I would consider paying full price for this, although, if my skin looked great with it for a long period of time(several months, let's say). We shall see!
p.s. What I didn't like was the packaging. It is indeed a little difficult to open that lid...

If you love a heavy makeup look, and goopy, dewy flawless or matte liquid foundations, you're going to think Prestige Minerals is too light!

Alright, now if you just want your skin too look naturally more even and set your moisturizer, this is a fantastic mineral powder. I'm a redhead, and the lightest color matches my skintone perfectly. When I look closely in the mirror, or in sunlight I cannot tell I'm wearing makeup. I've worn this in summer, I've been splashed with water, cried, swum, worn it all day, slept in it a few times (oops!) and it never moves or breaks me out.

I use a little bit applied with a kabuki, (thick layers make it cakey!) and it covers perfectly. Granted, use a separate concealer for very inflamed belmishes (I use the Almay healing one).

Tip: Always moisturizer before applying, (not too much!) and if your skin is really oily just prime with an Aloe Vera gel before applying powder. This prevents flakes, and heals acne, and makes your skin glowy underneath!

I love this stuff. It makes me hate liquid foundations.

i have bought this many times. i used to mix a light and dark color together for my perfect color. i can only wear this over a liquid foundation because it makes me really oily by itself.

I bought this front target. It was on clearance for only $6.88! I was looking for a good mineral foundation so or the price, I thought it wouldn't but to try it. I got this in "medium beige" and "natural".. Medium beige seems to be a bit dark for me, I think natural suits me better. The coverage was quite sheer, even if it is build able it won't give you a lot of coverage, but my skin isn't majorly bad so it was okay for me. I wouldn't recommend this if you need high coverage! The lasting power, I can't tell at all. At the end of the day, I cannot tell if it is my own skin or the makeup is still on. The smell is kinda gross, i can smell it when the make up brush comes near my nose.
It also doesn't control any oil or keep your face matte either. It's not very good. I'm just glad i picked this up for a bargain because i would not pay full price for it. It didn't break me out or gave me any irritations or anything. This may work well as a sheer foundation setter. Wouldn't recommend this alone though.

I've been using this foundation for about a year now, and I do like it a lot. The coverage is not that great so if I've got dark spots I do have to use a separate concealer. But it does look quite natural, and does not break me out, which is great. I'm not sure if I prefer this or Everyday Minerals which is what I've used in the past. This is just easier to obtain since it's in the drugstore. The bad thing about this line is that the color selection is very limited. In the winter I use 02, and summer I use 03. Sometimes I mix the two as well. For now, it is in my daily routine and will not be leaving anytime soon since I cannot find anything really wrong with it.

I have been using this foundation for over a year now. Though I do continue to use this product on a regular basis, I don't believe it is quite worthy of holy grail status. Firstly, the coverage is medium/buildable, nothing to really write home about, but it still does the job. The price was pretty fantastic, I think I got it on sale for like $5-7 (in Canada, makeup, especially any kind of face product, is typically really expensive regardless of the brand- Revlon foundations sell for like $20 on sale at some stores), and like I alluded to above, it's lasted me over twelve months, and I've been using 3-5 days a week. I also had a really easy time color matching myself and it doesn't oxidize or anything. One of the things I love the most about this foundation is that it photographs extremely well. I by no means have perfect skin, but this one time I went out with my friends and I was having a particularly bad skin day. After concealing, I put several layers of this on, extremely doubtful that it would look okay in photos since a lot of mineral based products I have used in the past tend to have flashback, but my skin looked super flawless in the photos. The other thing I love about this foundation is that my skin vastly improves when I use it. I have ridiculously sensitive skin, but this didn't break me out/give me a rash/clog my pores. On the other hand, there are several negative qualities that that prevents it from attaining holy grail status. One of the biggest problems I have with this powder is that it does absolutely nothing for my combination skin. To be fair, I have yet to find any drugstore foundation that does the job, but this powder is no different. In the wintertime, when my skin is as dry as the Sahara, it accentuates dry patches. In the spring/summer, when my skin is prone to becoming oily, my forehead is shiny thirty minutes after application. Secondly, never ever ever ever EVER put this powder over liquid foundation. I tried to put it over a dewy foundation after seeing some youtube gurus do that with bare minerals, and oh my god I cannot even describe how appalling the effect was. Basically, it looked like I had thin layer of mud or really viscous liquid on my face, no matter how little powder I tried to apply. In conclusion, this isn't the worst powder I have ever used; frankly, I'm quite fond of it, but it hasn't completely wowed me. Though I would repurchase it, if something better came along, I wouldn't hesitate to switch teams.

By far the best mineral foundation I have ever tried. I have two- i use the color medium baige in the summer when I'm darker & the color natural when I'm back to my normal skin color. The color natural is a perfect match for me. All other foundations usually end up looking either way too pink or way too yellow. This is the 1st foundation that's the perfect match. It stays on all day & I only have to touch up once around mid day when my face starts getting a bit oily on my T zone. It doesn't melt off & it doesn't get patchy. Through rainy days, hot day, this makeup stays on! I'm on my 3rd container of this stuff & I will definitely keep repurchasing it. I totally recommend this product, it's amazing! :D

I agree that this product goes on matte. However, I noticed about 10 minutes after applying that product moved towards pores and lines. This product enhanced the imperfections. Not what anyone wearing makeup would want. I originally picked this up on clearance at CVS in warm ginger knowing it was going to be much too dark of a shade for me normally but maybe using it as a matte bronzer but after trying it out, I'm hoping I can return it. If it didn't have the clog poring problem, the shade would still be too orangey.

The only things I like about this product is that it's made of minerals, so that's not saying much. Colour range is disappointing (fairest shade was not pale enough for me) and within five minutes of purchasing, the jar all broke apart. Would not repurchase.

I wanted to love this, and I did for a few days. It gave an awesome finish. It looked like my skin but better. This foundation just melted into my skin when I used my flat top kabuki. However, I've realized I've gotten tiny bumps and breakouts on my forehead and chin. Nothing in my routine has changed besides using this foundation for the past few days. I knew there was a chance I would have a reaction, but I'm glad I caught it when I did (now) before anymore damage could be done.

Ugh. Why does something so perfect have to be one of the few products I'm sensitive to? Life isn't fair.

I bought this product in the colour Warm Mocha and I'm a NC47. I thought it may be too dark, but it's great if you like a warmer tone to your skin.
Pros; easy to apply to build coverage; very nice feel on skin; minimizes appearance of pores and uneven skintone; illuminates the skin; absorbs oil; looks very natural even in harsh daylight; is not chalky or 'bronzing'
Cons: the container is a little tricky to get product from

This stuff is amazing. Ive been using it religiously for the past 3 years of my life. I sometimes stray away from it to see if i can find a liquid foundation that i might like better. BUT THAT NEVERRR HAPPENS. Not to mention the fact that this stuff is break out proof. I can sleep with it on and not wake up with any pimples. i work out with it on...i know thats bad but whatever im embarrassed of my bare skin. Anyways. i really recommend this stuff. :D

I've used this foundation for years! I started using it, then try another foundation and go back and repeated this many times. I love it, full coverage for a powder foundation! I use it in fair 01 but it is a bit too yellow and makes me look a little green when it cakes (which is by no fault of the make up) I like matte and full coverage and this foundation gives it to me, if only it was a little lighter for my pale skin..

I'll still use it! It isn't oil-free - my skin is soo oily that i reapply make up many times during the day and i find this goes oily on it's own. To stop this, i use Rimmel Stay Matte in Translucent, and although it is bad for my skin and is cheap (too much gives off the green tinge as well and cakes if too much is applied) it keeps the oil off better than any other foundation I've ever tried! I strongly recommend a brush is used.
It wasn't expense ($27 AUD) and I've repurchased about 7 times in total. Lasts a medium amount of time and does not break me out at all. Packaging was a little frustrating because too much comes out, then too little, then that very last bit of powder doesn't come out.
Recommend it!

I am really liking this mineral foundation. I used to wear BE original and it was way too shiny for my oily skin so I tried the matte and that one accentuated my pores. I heard good things about this brand on the boards and decided to give it a try. It gives my skin a luminous finish that is not too much. Even when I sweat in this hot and humid weather my skin looks fresh and natural. Other foundations would leave me looking like a hot mess. I use this with a primer underneath and it lasts all day throughout all the blotting. I find the coverage is even better than BE. It is my HG mineral foundation!

I wore this powder foundation for the longest time! I was going on an extended holiday to Thailand and with the weather being hot and humid there, I was worried my liquid foundation would melt off! This was a good alternative, it provided light-medium coverage, and at the time I wanted to try a mineral based product. This stayed on all day and didn't oxidise on me. I must say the undertones were a little off though. I have naturally yellow-golden undertones and the shade I wore was perfect, except with pink undertones! It wasn't too noticeable though. At the time I was also on Accutane and this did NOT irritate my skin in any way, nor did it break me out. Prestige is a fantastic brand, however the shade selection in foundation needs to be improved. I would definitely continue to buy their face products if they did this!
