I only use this on areas that i know dont produce acne on my body because im scared it'll cause breakouts since it's really strongly fragranced. This makes my skin extremely soft and supple, but so does olay complete day lotion so i think i'd rather use that

I love this product. Saved my skin many times.

I tend to go tanning in the summer months and couple times during the fall/winter season to keep my color.

My face always becomes very dry and patchy during these sessions and this product always fixes it as soon as it comes in contact with my skin.

It's very expensive for my budget but my mom buys it for me. She's a loyal shiseido fan.

I tend to not use it during the day at ALL because i'm afraid it may be too greasy for my skin unless i've been tanning.

Smells amazing. The packaging is great. I'm used to this type of packaging on face lotions and softeners since thats how many asian companies seem to package them. If you have the money totally go for it!

I didn't notice when I was in the store that this product contains mineral oil. Mineral oil is cheap and clogs pores. It gives me blackheads for sure. However, the rep at the Shiseido counter told me that it has a lot of antioxidants and peptides, so I continue to use it on my neck and decollatage only. But it smells nice and the packaging is nice.

Its an ok moisturizer for night.......WAY too fragranced, way too expensive, would never pay for this but will probably use up my GWP....though its in a little glass bottle and hard to get out.

It's hard to answer questions about price and packaging as I'm working off of a free sample I received. The free sample was a one-time use packet of each of the following: Creamy Cleansing Foam, Enriched Balancing Softener, and Revitalizing Emulsion.

I used the 3 samples last night. I found that the cleanser foamed up wonderfully and really cleaned my face but left it insanely tight and uncomfortable and really stung my cheek area. The softener helped reduce the tightness and stinging. This emulsion was sort of creamy yet runny and stung a little upon application. All 3 products have a strong perfumey smell that I personally dislike (and my 11-year-old son was very vocal about).

Because of the reaction my skin had when using the products I kind of thought I'd wake up this morning with red blotchy skin...but I didn't. I have to say that I woke up this morning with beautiful, hydrated, glowing skin. Not sure how products that seemed to bother my skin upon application could leave it looking so good a mere 7 hours later, and because my samples were one-time use I won't be able to see if it was merely coincidence.

I won't buy this line because even though my testing had a happy ending, I'd be reluctant to spend all that money (Shiseido tends to be beyond my budget) for something that will probably be too much for my skin.

I love the smell and the creaminess, but I think for paying 30-40$ for this is not worth it. My grandma actually gave this to me as a present, so I'm not bitter about purchasing it, but I wouldn't re-purchase it again. I've been using this for a couple months now so I feel like I have a good understanding of it. It leaves kind of an oily feeling--I only use it at night. The bottle is horrible because there's no pump! So I have to manually pour a little into my hands and that gets annoying after a daily use.
Overall, it did make my face moisturized and soft, but the oily feeling wasn't pleasant and I think it was the reason why I would occasionally get a pimple (I have oily skin already so this I think didn't help that at all).

I have been using this for about a week because I was told it can be used as a day and night moisturizer. I stay at home so I only use Sunscreen when I leave the house..I like this as a moisturizer, but I think I like the Night Recharge at night better and the Daytime Emulsion with SPF in the daytime. I think I will just keep it and see what happens, but so far I have not broken out, it keeps me well moisturized, not oily (I have combo Cry cheeks and oily t zones) but that's it.
My pores are smaller and my skin is brighter, but I think that is from the Eudermine Essence also from Shiseido.
**UPDATE:
Not that great, but for the price, I think I can get something else with more properties that help my skin. Back to Nordies this goes!

I'd been looking for a good moisturiser for ages (after I ran out of creme de la mer and just couldn't warrant buying another jar so soon) and picked this up on impulse in Duty Free at the airport. My biggest problem with this product is the packing - a glass jar with a narrow mouth, so even when you first open the bottle you have to pound it on your palm to get some product out - and then it comes out in a gush of *too much*! Took some practice to get used to, and i don't like glass jars as when i finish it there'll be some left that I can't get out without bloody breaking the thing open.

As for the product itself - first impression was that it smelled very perfumed, so I was wary it might break out my sensitive dry skin. True as other reviewers said it soaked in but not altogether, there was still quite a shine so i'd only use it at night. But the results the next morning!! Baby soft skin, softened lines on my forehead, even the persistent redness around my nose cleared up. Amazing. My skin was glowing, in a GOOD way! I've been using it 2 weeks now and so far so good.... will keep going!

This product made me break out in huge red bumps (pimples that do not erupt I guess). Sort of like those big period lumpy things that never go away. Anyway, after the first night application, I had the pimples in the morning, about three of them. Obviously, this is too oily for my skin, although my skin is really dry right now. I got this in a GWP and I HATE that little bottle that they squeeze the product into - it's impossible to get it out. Shiseido always does this with their moisturizers in the GWP and I cannot understand the thinking behind this. Alas, I like benefiance cream as a rule, but this didn't do it for me.

This is a liquid and seems to be a lighter version of the benefiance revitalizing cream. I have used this at bedtime when my skin becomes really dry. I have oily skin, so could never consider this during the day.
It does work, however. It has not broken me out, and I notice an immediate difference in softness and moisture to my skin by the next morning. It seems to sit on my skin like the other benefiance products, however....so, I can only use this at bedtime.
