I am a 52 year old woman with bad under eye puffiness and deep wrinkles. I have tried many products and none of them have helped like this "Lumene Time Freeze" firming day cream has. It was like a miracle sent from heaven from the very first time I used it. It not only filled in my wrinkles, but also reduced the puffiness. I use it in the morning and right before retiring for the night. Wow, what a difference! I am soooooo happy with this product! Like so many good products on the market, they seem to disappear after a short time on the shelf. Please don't stop making this product!!!

@ domokun_nyc and zetaflickan -- no product is for everyone, but the residue you find coming off your skin after a few minutes following application of this product is actually your dead skin cells sloughing off. Some might be bothered by this, but this process actually increases your collagen production by allowing new skin cells to generate. It may seem weird at first, but don't be alarmed. I've used a few other products in the past that have done this; some with retinol, some without. Lumene Time Freeze is one of these. just an FYI... thanks.

I actually purchased this a year ago, found it way too heavy and oily and set it aside. My skin changed a bit in the interim (hooray aging). Tried it again a few weeks ago because my skin was going through a dry spell. I use this as a night cream. My skin just isn't that dry. The cream is a bit sticky on the skin - but the next morning my skin looks clearer. Wrinkles still there, but small zits and mild blotchiness are gone. Not enough of a miracle worker to purchase again, but works well enough to finish the jar.

Okay, let me preface by saying that this review is actually for the Lumene Time Freeze Firming NIGHT Cream, not DAY. Also, I am reviewing the sample size, which is .5 oz in a small jar.
I use this cream not as it is intended, which is as a night cream, but as a nighttime eye cream instead. Since it is a little heavy and very moisturizing, I figured it would make a nice eye cream to complement my lighter Cera Ve Night Lotion. It works wonderfully! I am 30 years old with no wrinkles and very fine lines under my eyes, and this cream soaks in and leaves a luminous non greasy glow around my eye area. It is very lightly scented too, which is refreshing since so many skin products these days are heavily scented.
The best part of all? The .5 oz sample size is the perfect amount for an eye cream and costs $1.99 at CVS. I am certain that if Lumene marketed this product as an eye cream they would charge $20 for the same amount. I think oftentimes eye creams that cost more than facial creams are probably the same, if not very similar ingredients anyways.
So, if you are looking for intense hydrating around your eyes and plan to wear this at night, I would recommend it. I would not, however, recommend it for day as it does not contain sunscreen and is rather heavy, so eye makeup would likely slide.

Thank goodness I only paid for the small sample size because this stuff is terrible. The smell is very chemical-y or plastic-y. About half hour after applying (without anything - moisturizers or makeup layered over it) I touched my face and little dried up bits were rolling off. It felt like I had eraser shavings all over my face. I like a number of other Lumene products, but this one is not good.

I love this moisturizer. I was surpised at the negative reviews. With the understanding that there's really no such thing as a "miracle in a jar", I have to say I've experienced visible results using this cream on my 40-year-old skin. My skin is smoother and softer and has a nice glow when I use this cream. Fine lines are less noticeable as well. I'm not a fan of heavy face creams so I use this formula day and night. It goes on very sliky and doesn't leave a greasy residue. A jar lasts a long time for me so $30 seems like a good deal for a product of this quality.

There are some terrible reviews on this product which in some ways I expect (due to the jar packaging and lack of SPF) but also surprises me. I bought a sample sized jar for $3.00 from CVS just to try it out and I am very happy with the results. First of all, I don't use this as a day cream. It has no SPF at all and so I use it as a night cream instead. Because of this, I can't say whether this rolls off after you apply makeup over it. As a night cream, this sinks easily into my skin (dry/combination, fine lines) and makes me look so much more refreshed and awake in a morning. When I apply it at night, it feels silky and light going on, not greasy and sticky. The jar packaging is atrocious, any cream should really be in a pump, not only for hygiene but for the effectiveness of the ingredients. But this won't stop me using it. I have had great results with this cream, no firming effect so to speak, but just well moisturized skin with plumped lines and a healthy glow.I never noticed any fragrance (but I do have allergies and so my nose is constantly blocked and I can't smell anything!). I will be buying the full size of this cream, even though I don't use it how it is intended.

Horrible product. Not very moisturizing, and after it dries (no, it doesn't get absorbed into the skin) when applying sunscreen or foundation on top of it, or just rubbing my face a little bit, it comes off in rolls.

I had bought the Time Freeze instant lift eye cream & really liked it, so I thought I'd try this Premium Beauty day cream. I was just reading other reviews & was surprised to see that the smell bothered some. I found it to be a very pleasant, light smell. I was even smelling my hands off & on for about an hour after I had put it on! It's very creamy & really feels smooth to the touch. I have very oily skin, & I still love the stuff. No waxy, or any other kind of build up on my face & I used a couple of layers, before applying my makeup. I'm still taking it back, because I didn't realize that I paid 29.99 for a drugstore face cream! I wouldn't pay that for any 'beauty' product right now. If it weren't for how expensive it was, I really like the product. As to the packaging, it's pink, so what else do I need to say? I loved it, but actually packaging....either way, makes no difference to me, just the quality of the product. I wish I could find a tester like a few of the other ladies have said, I'm going to go look now for sure, thanks for telling me!

loula624 (below) pretty much said what I wanted to say, except I really want to stress the vile fragrance. It reminds me of those stick-up air fresheners you get to put inside your garbage can so it won't smell. That's how bad the fragrance is. When I first applied the cream, I didn't notice the smell at first. In fact, all I smelled was a faint chemical smell. Within a few minutes, I smelled like a bad, cheap perfume, and hours later, I could still smell it. As far as firming goes, I didn't expect it to firm, since nothing can really do that, but I did hope it would make my skin look maybe fresher, but it didn't. When I apply the cream, it takes forever to soak in and makes my skin feel slightly slimy. With oily skin, I truly don't need slimy. I bought the $2.99 trial size so I'm not out much money. Definitely won't buy this again.

I picked this up because it was on sale and the Lumene moisturizer I had been using seems to be no longer made.
This is a very light moisturizer that really does nothing the label says--it doesn't firm or improve the texture of the skin in anyway. It really doesn't do much of anything--its not very hydrating, and its texture doesn't seem like a moisturizer.
I've been using this for over a month now and my skin has dried out to the extent that I've noticed I now have smile lines the extend over my entire cheek. I do have drier skin with a T-zone, but its not leathery. However, this stuff is so non-moisturizing, I've taken to putting it over another lighter moisturizer.
If you put on too much it leaves some sort of waxy layer on the skin--a few times when wearing this moisturizer I felt something odd/tacky on my skin during the day. I rubbed my face and a tacky substance rolled off my skin. It was like when you put elmers glue on your finger, allowed it dry and then peeled/rolled it off. It had to be this moisturizer since everything else I was wearing I've been using for years.
I would not buy again. If I have to go slumming and buy moisturizer at Target again, I'll pick up Eucerin instead. Its not great but it does moisturize and doesn't leave a weird residue.

First of all, I have to state that I do not for a moment believe that this - or any - cream can “firm” skin. Make it look temporarily better, yes by all means. So, I got a small travel size for free and have used it for a couple of weeks as my moisturiser at night – during the day I use a moisturiser with SPF (followed by “real” spf product) so this, in my opinion, is totally useless as a “day” cream anyway. The texture is light and a little goes quite a long way. It has fragrance, but not too obnoxious or strong. I would not buy this product again because I prefer the more no-nonsense kind of moisturiser, coupled with exfoliating products and sunscreen, and I like my skincare to be fragrance-free. But it’s a pleasant enough lightweight cream suitable for any skin from normal to dry, but not super-dry. It has not caused any kind of irritation, blocked pores or breakouts for me. I guess it’s just – well, “fine”. I inadvertedly threw away the INCI so I can’t tell you whether this contains any useful antioxidants, moisture-binding ingredients etc. If so, all well and good, it’s a nice product. If not, it’s pretty useless except as a basic moisturiser. I wish Lumene came up with a day cream with SPF20 or higher!

AMAZING!!! Don't waste money on anything expensive any more. I used to buy Shiseido for hundreds of dollars. I don't know what is in this stuff but it is great: it works miracles with wrinkles and you can see visible result in a couple of days! It has 15spf, smells great, has light consistency and is suitable for all skin types( Mine happens to be combination, sensitive).
USE IT IN COMBINATION WITH Time Freeze Targeted Wrinkle Treatment wchich you use topicaly on the wrinkles first (including eye area) and you will, and I mean it, you will be wrinkle free in a couple of days!!! This treatment is the most amazing product I have ever come across (and I have seen it all). You see the result immediately after 1st application and it lasts. Both products sell for $19.99 at CVS instead of hundreds of dollars for Botox. Unfortunately I don't see it here to write a review about.
CVS has a special right now on Lumene skincare-buy one, get a second product at 50%off.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 lippies on this one. It's a pricey product (for the drugstore) and I haven't noticed any firming. Definitely pick it up on sale.
Where this really shines is putting this on, letting dry and then going over it with the Time Freeze foundation. I loved it!!!! It didn't settle into my pores and lines. (40+ year skin) The foundation match was terrific color-wise even though there are just a few choices. It's a terrific combo which makes me want to give the cream 4 lips.
The cream by intself I don't think is anything special. Maybe it's more of a primer?
