This brush ROCKS for cream blushes. I love it. It's chubby, like the name states, with short dense bristles and a flat head. I was a bit skeptical of it at first. I ordered it when JH was having an online sale along with some of her cheekie blushes. I am now convinced -- it is the BEST brush for cream blushes, particularly thicker less creamy blushes. But it works well with my creamy blushes as well -- I just use a lighter touch. I use it with KA The Creamy Moist Glow, Becca cream blushes, MAC cream blushes, Paula Dorf cream blushes, JH cheekies, Bobbi Brown pot rouges, and more. Before I got the Cheekie brush, I couldn't get my KA blush to work the way I like it. But with the Chubby Cheekie brush, the blush applies beautifully and gives me a natural, just-in-from-the-cold look. I highly recommend this brush to anyone who uses cream blushes. I prefer cream blushes to powder blushes, so I use this brush a lot. It's a sturdy brush, but if I ever lost it or if it ever started to wear out (it's as good as new at the moment, and I've been using it for a year), I would definitely repurchase. JH periodically has online sales, so you might want to check her site from time-to-time and wait to get it until it's 20 percent off. Its regular price is $28, FYI. Link =

If you love dense brushes you will love this, and if you love particular application this will be great for you. The bristles are a bit more rough than the norm, but it gives such direct and spot on application, its like a little stamper for your cheeks. I love this brush, didn't e know about it until I saw someone using it on youtube and bought it that night, I knew I would love this because I love a dense brush, you can diffuse the color easily after you apply it with this brush also. If you have very dry sensitive skin I don't think you would like this brush because you have to be pretty aggressive with it to blend the color.

Oh my gosh, this brush is perfect! I seriously don't know where to begin. It leaves the perfect hint of colour. It's really easy to work with. Feels great on your skin. To me, it's flawless. I've actually got two of them! One for my cheekie, and one for my shimmy. Perfect!

This brush is great for creme blushes. I hate to put my fingers into blush and am happy to have found this brush. It does a nice job because it is so dense, to apply the color evenly. I like that it has a short handle too.

I haven't got this brush so I haven't used it but it seems good.... but......... a perfect spot on dupe would be the sonia kashuk synthetic flat blusher brush. I use it with my cheekie palette and it's perfect. Just like the chubby cheekie brush but with a longer handle basically and a bit longer bristles and it costs 15 bucks rather than 23. So if you want to go with something easier to find that costs less go with the sonia kashuk brushhh

Synthetic brush head, round at the base, cylindrical in shape, with flat top. Brush head is very firm and very dense, blonde at the base and golden brown at the tips. Short, stubby shape to the overall brush, like a partially smoked cigar, and slightly smaller overall than I hoped (but this was well documented earlier by Olivia142). The brush (and its size, thankfully) is well suited to daubing/stippling and blending creme blushes. Tends to apply cremes a bit denser than fingertips or other brushes, so dab it into your creme blush gently for starters :) I'm not sure if I like this better than fingertips or a good foundation brush for applying creme blush (it's a bit rougher on the skin), but it is the perfect size for getting at creme blushes that come in narrow pots (like JHLA Cheekies... I will have to try it with a Kevyn Aucoin Creamy Moist Glow blush pot too). If you don't like using your fingers to apply creme blush, this is a great brush to have.

I never understood the idea of applying creme blush with a brush.
I bought the cheekie pallette, and let me tell you, this brush CHANGED MY WORLD. It is simply the best brush I have ever used, and if I had to pick a MU brush for the face, I would pick this above Mac 187 and an angled blush brush.
It is small and dense and really picks up the color and applies exactly where you want, and it is so easy to blend with.
I cannot reccomend this enough.

I alternate this w/ Mac 187 to apply cream blushes. It applies the blush a bit denser. It is wonderful.
