I have the shade 'Sunbeam' and I only got it because I'd heard somewhere that it's a dupe for Clinique's Tenderheart, and while it's not an exact dupe they are pretty similar, yes.
So far it's the brownest shade in my collection because I normally go for pinks, peaches and mauves. However used sparingly over lipbalm it looks really nice and gives a subtle caramel sheen to my lips.
As for the formula, it's not the best I've used but certainly not the worst either, so I guess it's somewhere in the middle. I wouldn't wear it on bare lips as I find it goes on better (and is more comfortable) with a slick of balm. Think I got it for around £1.50 so it's been a decent buy.

I have had this in Rose Bloom for quite a while, and picked up chocolate cherry and plum rose today. I paid £1 each from Poundworld.
I love how there is a bit of the actual lipstick in the clear part of the bottom of the tube so you can see the exact shade. Ive not seen this on any other lipstick.
I am in love with all three, but plum rose looks as if it was made especially for me, they feel silky and highly moisturising and are pretty long wearing and leave a lovely cast behind on the lip.
i shall be visiting Poundland regulary in the hope of finding more shades.

I found "soft orchid" in the dollar bin in CVS and it is a lovely, fashionable bluish mauve-pink. It goes on slightly fuschia. It's a light weight, moisturizing formula. I give a medium rating, becuase it wears off quickly and I'm the type that tends not to reapply frequently enough, but for many months this was my favored lipstick.
Think it's too bad that these have been discontinued, but at the same time, the market is so bloated with excellent makeup offerings. Ultimately, I think asking 8 dollars for a drugstore lippy is just asking too much.

At just £1.50 each here in the UK, these are extremely good value and come in a wonderful range of colours. The formula is lovely - creamy, long-lasting and moisturising. Wide range of colours. Baby Pink is especially pretty.

I have Champagne Rose and I actually quite like it. On my very pale lips, it's a MLBB color, believe it or not! It registers like a neutral pink and has a gold shimmer to it but it's not over the top. The application doesn't feel creamy, it's matte-ish, drier--but doesn't dry my lips out, stays pretty well.
The packaging is good for the price, feels like it snaps tight and secure unlike W'n'W or other cheapies. It does have an odd scent, but I can only sniff it out in the tube, never when applied so it doesn't bother me.
Overall, it's very okay.

I have this is 'Seashell Nude' and 'Sparkling Berry'. I got these at a makeup sale not too long ago, so they were very cheap. 'Seashell Nude' is not exactly nude, its more like a dusty pink. 'Sparkling Berry' is a medium pink colour. Not super bright, but not too dark either. I'm very impressed with the quality and formula of these lipsticks. They feel very moisturizing and creamy on my lips, no lipbalm is needed underneath and are rich and intense with their pigmentation. They have a slight weird smell. Not too noticeable though once applied, but can be for some. Like alot of lipsticks, need to be reapplied after eating or drinking. Would repurchase these again!

I got this in Rose Bloom, a rosy, almost raspberry shade. It's very wearable, with complete, opaque coverage on me, yet it's not heavy in the slightest. I normally can't do a shade such as this and this one looks like it was made for me. NC15 skin, light brown hair, hazel eyes.
I love that this lipstick is moisturizing, but doesn't travel outside my lipline. A first for me! I love how shiny this is! Could have better lasting power, though. But I've been pampered with long lasting lipsticks. I don't mind reapplying this though. It's a joy to apply a color and formula that you love so much.
This would be Holy Grail for me, but it's been discontinued. Found this at CVS for a mere $2.49. I will search other CVS stores for more shades and stock up while I can.
UPDATE: I also found Seashell Nude (more of a bronzey color) and Rosy Brown (more rosy than brown). These were at Bealls Outlet for a mere $1.99 each. I just love this formula. Rich, yet light. Shiny without being frosty, glittery or greasy. A holy grail formula for me and very wearable colors. A total shame these were discontinued.

These lipsticks are brilliant! I love them! All of the colors are very wearable, flattering, and moisturizing. The packaging is adorable and looks high end. I wish they weren't being discontinued.
Best shade: Sunburst, the perfect MLBB shade.

These lipsticks are moisturizing and provide enough coverage to even out my lip color. I have tried two: Champagne Rose & Sunbeam. The former was almost exactly the color of my lips, so I returned it.
Sunbeam, however, is a nice brownish color that goes with any clothes or makeup that I wear. It is not an absolutely amazing color, however, and although I put YES for repurchase, my answer is more of a maybe.
I got them for sale from Ulta for 2.99.

I have been eager to find natural looking lipstick for a long time. Most are way to bright & unflattering to the skin tone. Im a MAC NC25
and the champagne rose is awesome on me, light nude pink. Doesnt last long though, and without my ozone Urban decay Lipliner I would have smears & a line of lipstick under my lip.
I have other results with the Lilac, its a nice summerly plum with a brightness just enough to have young looking lips. It stays on much better than the champagne rose.
I also get Plum Rose, this is my fav of the group, Nice sublte kinda matte rose lipstick. Not really plum.
Looks a little dry after 20 minutes, while the Lilac never looks dry & dull. So all in all, nice lipstick.
Discontinued at CVS on sale now for 2.49 and with 1.00 coupon even cheaper. Still debating on whether to buy more to put away, or will I be bored with it by the time I need more! :)

These may be discountinued. They have been clearanced by two drugstore chains near me already this yr.
The best thing about these is the packaging. They look like a mid-level brand like The Body Shop. The lid is surprising thick and clicks into place with a solid click. Very nice. The color selection Carmindy offers is very wearable. I got PERFECT PINK and CHAMPAGNE ROSE. I am NC35 and my main problem with them is that they werent pigmented enough for me. They were slightly more pigmented than a tinted balm and did nothing to hide my bicolor lips. They were creamy/waxy but sort of dry-feeling. Definitely not a moist look. They have a strong scent that is hard to describe. It's strong and is like the type that you get with "no fragrance" products. It has that smell that it will go rancid real quick like a Nars lipstick.
Perfect Pink is a nice medium dusky pink. Champagne Rose is a brownish rose color. I found the pink a lot more wearable than the CR because the CR was a little dull on me. I usually prefer the rose color too.
Normally retails for $9.99 for .08oz which is pretty expensive for drugstore.

Bought this on sale at Ulta for $4 in Baby Pink. I really don't like the scent or the color (it's cheap looking bright pink). Not very moisturizing or glossy... will be taking back

I bought this in baby pink- i loved the color and the texture was ok. I just could not deal with the smell. It smells horrible, I had to return. I had the same problem with their sheer lipsticks as well, I do not think they even sell the sheer sticks anymore, I wish they would re-formulate and just make them un-scented.

I really like that the tube clicks shut. I bought this the other day at Rite-Aid and like it well enough. The texture is good -- very creamy -- and reminds me very much of the lipsticks I've gotten in Clinique GWPs. Not long-lasting. My only beef is trying to figure out what color I'm actually buying. I chose Adobe and it's almost exactly the same color as an old Almay "rum raisin" that I have almost used up. Which is good but I wanted something a little plummier. I have a small drawer full of d/s lipsticks all not-quite-the-right color. You'd think I'd learn!

I bought this is Sangria, which is a subdued, brickish red. No scent, nice consistency, and very wearable. I think it's a little overpriced for a drugstore brand at $9.95, but I got it on sale for $3.95 at Rite Aid. I wanted to try another color, but the selection is limited.

I'm not normally a lipstick-type person, but I grabbed one of these on a whim and really like them (have since purchased 2 more). They're very smooth and apply easily, a good consistency (not dry or cakey, not too thick), are moderately-pigmented, aren't too sparkly/shiney or too matte, and last a reasonable amount of time. I have Champagne Rose, Plum Shimmer, and Adobe - which are fairly different in terms of depth and tone, but are all very wearable on my extremely fair but neutral skin.
The packaging is nice and solid, and not gaudy or cheap looking.
I will definitely repurchase Plum Shimmer (not sure about the other two yet), and wouldn't hesitate to try a other shades when they're on sale. The price isn't bad at all then. Overall, a good find and worth trying out.

These are good lippies...I wouldn't say BEST, but for the price, they definitely can't be beat. They are an even better deal if you can catch the buy one get one 50% off sale at CVS.
The formulas are very creamy and easy to wear...not too matte, not too shiny. They remind me of some of Clinique's lipsticks. Unfortunately, they don't last very long...of course, they don't claim to be long wearing either.
I have Perfect Pink and Rose Bloom. Pefect Pink is a great baby pink that is great for fair skin tones. Rose Bloom is more of a berry and would probably work for a wide variety of skin tones.

Picked this as a freebie at Ulta with other SH Carmindy purchases, but even at its regular price of $10 its a reasonable price for a d/s lippie. Unusual green metallic case, nice & heavy & the lid stays put which is my main concern.
Shopping at Ulta can be a pain, but one thing my local store has going for it is a lip bar with testers of all the SH Carmindy lipsticks. I was surprised how wearable so many of the colors looked on swatching, even if they might not suit my coloring. I eventually picked "Seashell Nude" based on how the color looked on me & before I registered its name - its like no other nude I've ever seen lol (they are usually too pale or too orange or something), this is more a warm medium mauvey brown cream finish with a tiny bit of pinkish shimmer, very MLBB & a very, very flattering color on me (I'm Px Vellum, nc20-ish). My main criticism of this is that it doesn't wear very well, the formula is extremely soft & disappears quickly. Admittedly, I haven't tried this over a lip pencil or primer yet, which I'll do next to see if it helps. That said this is definitely a lippie I'll wear as opposed to tossing because its comfortable & moisturizing in the lousy winter weather I'm living through now & its such a gorgeous color on me. Assuming I still love the color as much as I do now when I'm close to finishing this tube, I doubt I'll repurchase but may ask 3CC to copy it in a longer wearing formula, & without the rather odd smell this lippie has (its very faint & doesn't bother me, but its clearly there).
