I am very taken with this product. I bought it for two reasons: I needed an antioxidant cream to put over Cerave PM, and I noticed that many websites list it as an affordable, good antioxidant cream. I can't afford to pay a lot for either serum or anti-oxidant cream, but definitely help my rosacea.
Eucerin Q10 is mild, not as greasy as I had feared, and feels great on my skin. I use only a pea size amount for my entire face and neck, so the 1.7 oz container generally lasts for a month of more. It is quite affordable compared to several other antioxidant creams and does a better job, IMO. I use it over Cerave PM, and I have noticed that my facial redness is reduced. It's non-fragranced, and doesn't bother my eyes in the least.
Use a q-tip or spatula to get the product out of the jar--much more sanitary than using your fingers. A good, solid product that I am happy to have in my arsenal! Will upgrade my rating if this keeps up over a few months.

I love how soft this makes my skin but it makes my itchy. I tested it for two weeks and at exactly two weeks, my skin was itchy most of the day. I set it aside and tried it again two months later and on the second day, I was itchy again. I'm not sure which ingredient us the culprit but I'm disappointed that I can't use it because I loved how moisturizing it is and how soft it left my skin.

I've been buying this for probably 5 or 6 years now and love it on my sensitive normal to dry skin. But I think they may have slightly fiddled with the formula? Or I got a weird batch? The newest one I bought doesn't have that buttery smell at all (which I had grown to love!). Does anyone else's still smell like butter? Hopefully if it IS changed, the fragrance is the ONLY change!

There are times when the weather deals my skin a nasty blow and this is surprisingly during the dry times of the summer. I usually need to put on a thick cream during that part of the year. This cream will do the job but only on a 6 out of 10 scale. It is not as thick as I need it to be, possibly doesn't contain enough oil and doesn't sink in completely. All that being said, it still fits a need in my skin care arsenal. It is what I would buy if I could not get to a department store and needed something fast. Out of all the drugstore options out there, I think this is probably the most elegantly formulated moisturizing cream available. My skin likes this better when the weather isn't dry and then I use it with more satisfaction under my sunscreen in the mornings. It's a medium thick cream that takes about 15 minutes to sink in if it does at all. It's got a very slight waxy feel to it. A good buy for someone with normal to dry skin. For those who deal with dry skin daily and sometimes very dry skin, it is a satisfactory temporary substitute.

I am so glad I discovered this product through the reviews here on MUA. Eucerin facial care stuff isn't available in Canada but after reading the reviews here, and since I was searching for an inexpensive but effective night cream for winter, I really wanted to give this a try to got my husband to pick up a jar for me when he was in the States last month. I LOVE this cream, especially for winter-time, when my skin is more dry. I didn't want bells and whistles and mystery ingredients of questionable real value but with a ridiculously high price....I just wanted something simple, not too greasy but effective for putting back some moisture or preventing moisture loss. This cream is the answer for me. I've been using it over Alpha Hydrox Retinol Night Res-Q and the results I'm getting are beyond satisfactory. This cream is inexpensive, effective and, at least for me, not too heavy or greasy. It seems to absorb right into my skin. I imagine I could even use this in the day-time. I don't mind the open jar packaging....I use a spatula in any case and the jar means you can get every last bit of product and also see when you are getting low. I will be purchasing another jar or 2 of this cream when I go to the US in June because I really don't want to be without this. It's every bit as good as my Clarins Super Restorative night cream but without the hefty price tag! Great product, great price!

Just like all the other Eucerin products I have tried, this is another WINNER!
I wear this as a night cream all over my face with emphasis on my under eye area and wake up to beautifully plump radiant skin.
My skin looks so good when I wake up that i almost don't ant to wash this off!!!
What led me to buy this was a rude little wrinkle working its way in between my eye brows as well as flaking skin on my nose.
After just a week of using this, I have noticed that my wrinkle, along with the flakeys has completely vanished. I also noticed MAJOR improvement in my under eye area which include brightening.
This is HG for me ladies.

Like many other mua-ers, this is HG for me. I've been using it for 3 months and finished my second container 4 days ago.
This moisturizes without breaking me out or making my skin oily. My skin just drinks it up. I've got rosacea and acne and my skin is more even while applying this. It doesn't do anything for my large pores, but it doesn't say it will and I don't expect it to help with that.
My skin is really dry and since I've been using a different night cream for a few days(since the eucerin ran out), my skin's gotten noticably drier and more irritated and I've got a couple of dry patches showing back up.I have to apply three different moisturizers to get the same effecct as this.
I'm definitely picking up some more at Ulta tomorrow. This is my mainn problem with this, I didn't see it at Walmart or CVS so I'm going to have to go to Ulta to get it. Eucerin should be sold at more places!

I've been using this cream every night for at least the past 5 years and realized I haven't written a review! I have sensitive, acne prone skin. I use 5% benz at night and sal acid during the day (and have used every other topical acne cream that exists). Luckily, my acne is under control but I still need to use products that can cause some dryness, especially in the winter. Also, sometimes my skin gets irritated in the winter when I apply these topical acne creams and it causes my skin to get red and itchy/burn-y. This Eucerin cream does not interact in any negative way with my acne cream, it doesn't cause more acne, and provides the thick, delicious surge of moisture my skin needs especially during the winter. This is not specifically designed to soothe (they have a separate soothing line) but when I am having a red itchfest on my face this cream helps it simmer down. During the middle of the summer I don't use cream at night (we don't have AC in the whole house so after I wash my face I spritz on Mario Badescu rose/aloe facial spray and that is sufficient. Any cream will sweat off - yuck!) but aside from those hot, humid nights I need this Eucerin!!
My skin drinks it in within a few minutes and it doesn't feel heavy or gross. I wake up and my skin looks healthy. I even apply it around my eyes and it doesn't sting them. Someone complained about the smell but I feel like she may have gotten a bad batch. To me, it smells a little like butter and it even looks and feels like butter or margarine. It is a slightly odd smell but I wouldn't say that it is gross. I prefer it to a heavily perfumed lotion because fragrance in face products seems like one more thing to piss my face off. The jar isn't that hygienic so if it bothers you I recommend using a clean Q-Tip to scoop out what you need.
So yeah. This is my HG night time face cream. No fuss, straight forward, effective. I don't have wrinkles yet, so I cannot comment to that point, but I am hoping this is helping prevent them!

Recently I have become sensitive to anything I put on my face. I am getting wrinkles around my mouth (probably from side sleeping) and I have extremely dry skin. After reading reviews online for various creams I remembered this when I saw it in the drug store. Also I noticed it was the last jar and the ingredients looked good. That night I washed my face and put it on. For me it 0 fragrance. Now I love products with fragrance but glad this was fragrance free. I also noticed my skin was moist and matte. That made me happy because my other creams made my face (especially my nose) very shiny. My face glowed. It has been over a week and I am still loving this product and hope to continue to have good results. I don't worry about wrinkles because I know keeping my face moisturizer is the key to looking good. It is a lot better than having flakes around my mouth and forehead. I still add a pump of argon oil to my wet face after washing and then let it dry. Then I put this on.

I need heavy, heavy skin cream for nighttime during the winter. Based on other reviews, decided to try this one. It's nice and thick, doesn't irritate my sensitive skin...but it stinks! The odor... Smells like something crawled into the jar and died. The smell does seem to dissipate after awhile, but...hoo boy.

Even though the climate where I live apparently doesn't have a winter anymore, my normally oily skin does get affected by a reduction in our normally soupy humidity levels here. This is a good basic rich creme. Very little scent if any. My skin gets dry from time to time because of my regimen of Alpha Hydrox 12% souffle and my Skinceuticals 1.0 retinol and sometimes an over zealous foray into home glycolic peels of the 50% nature. During these times, I feel like I really need to pamper my skin a bit and this is a nice soothing creme. It feels rich and buttery and I do believe one of the main ingredients is shea butter. Even in the colder/dryer months, I can't use this during the day because my foundation will slide off my face and form a small beige puddle on my chest. It's totally a night time creme for me. It doesn't contain any type of anti-aging this or that but it never promises that either. I have to appreciate a moisturizer that knows all it has to do is impart some moisture to my abused skin and leave the heavy anti-aging stuff to other products.

I'm so heartbroken because I thought I'd finally found a cheap but good night cream for my sensitive skin. This cream is thick but when I apply it, my face looks very matte with no greasiness. Its the dead of winter where I live and at first, I enjoyed using this product. Sure it takes a while to absorb but overall my face was hydrated, plumped up and soft and then one day I woke up with a red ring of pimples on the apple of my right cheek. The left side of my entire face was also an ugly orangey red. At first I thought it was it was just me having a bad skin day but it just got worse. I've stopped using the cream for now. The redness is gone but my the pimples are taking a while to disappear. My facial skin looks bad. I'm going to have to start all over again with trying to repair the damage.

I use this product twice a day. Once in the morning before I apply my make-up and then at night after I wash my face. It feels wonderful on my dry/sensitive skin. I have tried numerous moisturizers (Cetaphil, Olay, Burt's Bees, Clinique, Neutrogena, Aveeno, Mary Kay, etc.) and none of them worked. Some broke me out, others irritated my skin, and none of them left my skin feeling hydrated after I used them. Eucerin Q10 is a rich moisturizer, but it doesn't feel heavy and it absorbs well. It doesn't have a funky fragrance and the little glass jar it comes in is nice. Best of all it actually moisturizes the skin and isn't irritating to sensitive skin. I have mild rosacea on my cheeks and this product doesn't bother my skin. The only reason I don't give it 5 lippies is because it doesn't contain any SPF. It would be nice if it did for days that I don't wear make-up (I use Skin79 BB cream which has 25 SPF in it already).

I have very sensitive skin on my cheeks and this product started out OK for first few weeks and then my face felt on fire.
I tried to use the pot up on my neck and chest area but it bought me out in spots.
Shame because I've used other Eucerin products and they've been fine. Wouldn't recommend if you have hyper sensitive skin.

I've used this before and my skin liked it, but I just picked up a new jar and it appears Eucerin has changed the formula. They have removed the parabens, as well as, other changes (see below). It's still rich, and pretty much looks the same, but slightly less buttery. The new version has very little scent, but what scent I do detect is slighty sour or chemical which doesn't last. I miss the soft buttery smell of the previous version. We'll see if I buy again...??

Pros: --Very rich, very moisturizing-- seemed to 'plump' up my skin & it did make my wrinkles/fine lines less noticeable.
--My skin gets extremely dry and flakey in the wintertime but this creme really helped keep the flakes to a minimum
--love the packaging! it's a heavy white glass jar with a hard plastic top.
Cons: the SMELL!! It's supposed to be fragrance free... it's not! Some reviewers said it smells like vanilla or buttercream frosting... to me it smells like a faint but gross synthetic smell that I can't really explain. Maybe a fake sweet smell.
This moisturizer is awesome in every other aspect besides the smell tho, and if it didn't bother me I would def buy this product again. But the smell is a dealbreaker for me.

I bought this due to all the rave reviews. My skin is very dry and when I saw this was a rich sensitive skin cream I didint hesitate in purchasing this.the texture is like everyone says it is buttery and soft I do get the faint vanilla smell aswell.it goes on smooth and great and I do like that it leaves my skin soft. however I don't find this to be very hydrating for my thirsty skin I also don't like the matte finish it leaves when I put my makeup over this I prefer a glowy finish when it comes to creams. Its a nice cream just not hg for me.

honestly I didn't have that much expectation about this cream , when I bought it.. cause some reviewers said nagative things about it. and I didn't like the original Eucerin cream.
however, after I used, I'm quite suprised at this cream. it's soooo good !!!!. I can definetely see the moisturizing and soothing effect on my skin. from Clarins, Clinique, Lancome, Bobbie brown, Estee lauder..I have tried so many creams.. recenty I used Dermalogica moisturizing cream... and this cream honestly this is way better than those creams and only costs about10$. ( If I could give 6 Luppies , I would !!! )
pretty smooth texture. so easy to apply. almost no fragrance. recently my face was bronken out terribly. and this is the only cream that makes my skin soothing and calming and moisturized while it doesn't irriating my skin. (my skin is very sensitive )
thanks to MUA, it was good decision giving a try. :) happy

Still trying to find safe and effective cosmetics:

Note:
Tocopheryl Acetate can be bad news: check the truth in aging website--tocopheryl acetate is a skin sensitizer
check the parabens:
From:5 toxic ingredients commonly used in cosmetics (from Rodale) includes as no. 2: Parabens
"Parabens, preservative chemicals that have been linked to breast cancer, can be found in 70 to 90 percent of cosmetics, according to The David Suzuki Foundation, an organization that focuses on sustainability and health.
