I hav fine hair that is to my shoulders and letting the color grow out. I got this on sale for buy one get for free so I got this product and the blow dry/ flat iron product. I blow dry daily so I need something for my ends. I tried this leave in conditioner this morning on towel dried hair. I blew dry my hair and couldn't believe how soft and tangle free my hair is! It doesn't leave a residue or make my hair super heavy. It's silky, shiny, and tangle free! I like this product better then the blow dry/flat iron one. Would defiantly keep in rotation with my other products.

I use this for all my hair styling needs. Straightening, blow drying and curling. It makes my hair super soft and shiny. I have fine hair and it gets dry pretty easily because I straighten almost every day. It feels light weight and I only need to use a little. It smells nice, it looks girly but hey this stuff is wonderful. It can cause build up though so if you shampoo your hair every other day it may cause build up.

I am 65 years old & a former hair stylist....For fine hair this is by far the best product I have ever used....highly recommended. After shampooing, towel dry your hair & apply this product....about a dime or so dab....blow dry and it is amazing. Also, after u finish blow drying...add a little more before you use curl iron or straightener. Your hair will feel like silk, have body, no frizz....for the money what can u lose.?.. Got mind at CVS!

This does absolutely nothing for me. I have thick, wavy, frizz prone hair, I thought this would work. It made no difference at all! Waste of moolah.

some people complain that this is to oily I can see that being true if it's used to much. I have a oily scalp and fine straight hair, what I do is after I towel dry and detangle I add a little only to the nape of my neck and downward not on the scalp! That's the key. I like this stuff makes detangling easier and when my hair air drys it's very very smooth. No fly aways or split ends.

I am NOT going to lie. The packaging was what caught my eye first. Who could pass up a bottle of hair product that has such smooth curves and such eye catching pop of colors? I sure didn't! regardless, I read up many other reviews before I finally settled into buying this product because my hair was in desperate need of a pick me upper after being heat damaged for some thine since I started to flat iron my hair. I LOVED it. The scent was very pleasing. I used around 3-4 pumps for my hair since a little does go a long way. My hair started to look more smoother and less dry in a matter of hours of having this product on it. It smooths away fly away's and gave me back that much needed shine. The only bad thing I have to say about this product though is that its not good if you have oily hair or dry hair that will progress to being oily by the end of the day. It will add an extra weight to your hair that makes it look dull and just heavy. This product made me have to wash my hair almost every day. Its only the weekends I would skip one day just to give my hair a rest.

Not a fan of this lustre lotion after several uses over the last few weeks, applied after toweling off my freshly-washed fine, curly hair. First off, I couldn't get past the scent. When others complained about the scent in reviews I read before purchasing this, I figured those folks were probably on the sensitive side and it likely wouldn't bother me. Wrong. The scent is strong, artificial (good word for it, reviewer right below), and what I would call 'plasticky'. Not cool.

As someone who applies leave-in conditioners after every single washing, dating back nearly two decades now, I can say I've tried most of what's available at drugstores plus plenty of "high-end" brands when it comes to leave-ins. This one sucks. If I wanted a barely effective, plasticky lotion, I'd choose one without the crappy scent. Biolage Hydra-Seal leave-in lotion works better (though it is light) and smells just fine. Heck, using my conditioner---any of my conditioners---as a leave-in treatment would be preferable to using this product again. Think I'm gonna have to offer my bottle up for swap soon, since apparently plenty of people do dig it. Just not me.

I was drawn to this product because of the cute pink packaging and it was conveniently on sale for buy one get one half off. I bought it along with the guardian angel heat protectant from the same line. I'm not crazy about the smell as some of the other reviewers. The smell is good but at the same time, it's a very artificial and immature sweet smell.

I put this product in my hair after a shower while my hair was still a bit damp. This product did a great job at calming down my thick, coarse hair without making it greasy. My hair was soft and smooth after I was done styling it. As the day wore on, however, my hair started getting very dry at the ends. To be fair, my hair is damaged and dry at the ends to start with from all the heat styling. This product only seemed to dry out my hair more. I believe it is the alcohol in this product that is to be blamed for this drying effect. Because of this, I will not be repurchasing.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Oily, Medium, Warm   Hair: Black, Straight, Coarse   Eyes: Black

Me: AAB NC30, yellow to neutral undertones, oily skin, coarse/thick black hair, darkest brown (almost black) eyes.

Formula, wear, consistency: creamy, thick, off-white leave in conditioning treatment. I have a TON of hair and I use a pump (sometimes a little bit more) every time I wash my hair and that is sufficient. It coats my hair nicely and never leaves it greasy, weighed down, or stiff. I notice a definite difference in my hair when I do use this and when I don't, even if I use a heavy duty rinse-out conventional conditioner in the shower. My hair poofs up into a huge, disgusting, frizzy mop when I don't use any sort of product in my hair before I let it air dry. When I *do* use this it is MUCH more manageable, glossy, and gently wavy, not frizzy. When I choose to straighten my hair this also offers heat protection.
Packaging: Slim, pink, hourglass-shaped pump bottle with a bunch of little plastic charms attached to the top. Very cute, very functional. No complaints here.
Fragrance: Divine! Not overpowering or cloying; fresh and clean. Doesn't clash with your perfume.
Pricing and Availability: $6 or $7 at drugstores.
Bottom line: A definite staple for me. I have used a lot of leave in treatments (expensive and cheap) and this is a good, no-fuss product that performs consistently and doesn't gunk up on my hair over time or weigh it down. I am on my 3rd bottle and the product whore in me has little to no desire to switch products, which is saying a lot! I will start hoarding this if I hear murmurings of discontinuation since this makes both my hair and my wallet so very happy.

I really like this product. My favourite thing about it is the scent which is just amazing!! It also does make my hair quite soft without making it feel gross or greasy. It is quite light and I can't even tell it's in my hair.

I use it when i get out of the shower but i also use it sometimes when my hair is dry and that also works.

This is really nice! I love it. It does leave the hair soft, but, as someone below said, using it regularly doesn't seem to work. I don't know maybe there are some proteins in this lotion? Because protein is the same way. It works, but only if it's used every so often.

Anyway, yes, I would use this again. It works pretty good on dry hair, too. It smooths down my ends. Also, this isn't so watery that it makes my hair revert back to curly. So that makes it an excellent finishing cream.

I have the smooth operator (regular) and the one with cashmere. The one with cashmere has alcohol denat in it. Both work well, but I would deduct one star from the cashmere one, if I could.

Love this stuff so much! So glad I bought this. Ive never had a hair product that makes my hair feel this soft and smooth without making it somewhat greasy. A small pump of this onto wet hair, blow dry and awesome tresses. It smells good too :) Its cheap and available in most drugstores. My go to hair product!

I cannot believe I bought a super expensive Tigi product for my frizz that didn't work at all.
This got2b was fairly cheap and it does the job. My hair is not greasy nor heavy. I also like the cute bottle and the smell.
Very good product.

Been an HG of mine for almost a year. I fell in love with this product years ago, but after not having a job for awhile I was unable to purchase and forgot about this product.

If you love the feel of cashmere,
If your hair doesn't like protein,
If you need a heat-protectant,
if you need a uv protectant,
If you have coarse hair,
If you have thick hair,
If you have dry hair,

this is EXACTLY what you need and want in a hair product.

Really love this product and will repurchase until I find something better (if I ever do).

This is an amazing product! I have baby fine hair but it's very long and a bit dry. I had used the satin drops before from Got2B which was also great but I can't find it anymore, so I bought the Lustre Lotion. I run this lightly through the bottom half of my hair while it's still wet, then style as usual. It leaves my hair soft rather than dry and brittle. It's looks so much healthier when I use this and my hair doesn't tangle as easy. The biggest thing for me is that it doesn't weigh my thin hair down. Love this!
