this is a great product for the summer. It's easy to put on when you're on the go, it has spf in it, and the green color seems to tone down the redness of my pigmented lips a little which i like.
I like that it pulls your look together without appearing like u are trying at all.
The scent is okay... i dont really care for it, but i love the texture of it on my lips. keeps my lips moisturized and comfortable for a pretty long time.

i dont tend to use this in the winter, but i love it for the spring/summer when it's gorgeous out and I dont want to seem too made up.

Love the smell, love the texture, great that it has spf. I picked this up at CCO so it was only 11.25$ plus you can't get these in stores anymore. Packaging is nice, will not buy again because i like to experiment.

come on now! this is just a regular lipgloss in a pot!
the spf is nice, 12 isnt that high but it's way better than 8 which i've seen in some lip products...
the scent is very nice, reminds me of a popsicle...but def not the most unique smell.
the color...ok, i was expecting a springbean (or squirt- the older l/g) effect on the lips because of it's green tone...but no, it was basically clear with some glitter. didnt alter my lip color one bit, maybe made them slightly paler but no cool green/yellow effect which was the reson why i ordered this! :(

oh well, it's still nice because it has great lasting power and tastes kinda good lol

These are honestly overrated because of their MAC label, sweet scent, and cute colours that appear in the pot.

Realistically they are not great at moisturizing, or adding colour to the lips. They do have a great texture but it does not live up to its purpose as a lip balm. It is great that it has SPF and that is why I continue to use it for the summer.. but it is way overrated.

But.. I will probably buy another one if they decide to release more. Shush! has a lot of shimmers that migrate outside of the lips which bothers me A LOT. So I do wish to try some without shimmers..

Im way late on trying out this color but Im so glad I've discovered it. When I first noticed the tendertones, I always dismissed the green shade in the collection and I figured it was pointless as tendertones were already sheer, surely this would just be clear lipgloss in a pot and who needs another of those? When I tried this however, with a couple of swipes of the gloss it starts to create the most natural neutral lip on me. I think something about the green shade tones down the red/pink pigment in lips just enough to make them look more 'nude' but without having a peach/beige color on your lips. Im not the biggest MAC fan in the world, but tendertones have definitely lived up to the hype and I love the glass pot which feels so much more substantial than plastic and I know some people hate using lip gloss pots but I really like them. The scent is spectacular, strawberry kiwi apparently and smells just like koolaid - perfect for summer. I do hope that they bring these back - permanently would be nice! This is really one of my all time HG glosses.

i love this product its such a gorgeous colour. its green but goes pn pretty much clear with abit of silver sparkly wich leaves a real glossy effect.
you only need a small amount and its sooooo soft and smooth and very moisturizing.
another thing i love is the smell. OMG its such an amazing smell!! its kiwi and strawberry it smells like fruity lollies its so gorgeous.
and the packaging is very nice i think . i like it in the glass pot. seems more luxurious and safer for the product...

I just got this from my closest CCO for $11.25. I think that the lime green color is awesome (my bf gave me a funny look when I told him that it was for lips lol). It is a little glittery for my tastes but it is sheer so I guess that makes up for it. I also like how it is a little sticky, that is just how I like my lip products. Not exactly the most travel friendly packaging, but I don't really mind getting lip balm on my finger. All in all decent product; not a must-have but it is fun to try.

I love, LOVE this stuff! it smells like Candy (no taste).

ive noticed that one of the first/main ingredents is petroleum jelly and it deff feels like it! none sticky, shinny but smells way better.

i have only two things

a) the pot isnt thats great to use on-the-go since your fingers are dirty and itll get stuck under your nails...then you have to find somthing to clean your fingers after using it.
b) its kind of pricey. considering that it is only a lip balm. i got mine at the CCO for $10-11... which is ok i guess for... basically vaseline

I like this product because i love the "WOW" factor when i pull this out in front of my friends, they go like" are you seriously going to use that" and their eyes goes all round an their mouth shapes into a "O"disbelieve in the eyes, but when i put it one, it evens out my naturally pigmented lip and makes them into a nice, natural honey colour, giving me the perfect nude lip with mirror glass shine with subtle green and gold shimmer, i think this is a tendertone version or MAC lusterglass in Spring bean, which is great for the days when you want something moist and non-sticky =D I like to top off my nude lipstick with this XD

colour: in the pot it looks like a a pale lime green, but on the lips it looks clear with gorgeous shimmer...

texture: its NOT sticky at all... feels very smooth on the lips..

price: well, i got this for free, not sure about the price, i guess its $14.50.. yeah...

smell: now this is the best part.. it smells very fruity... its like vanilla mix with strawberry & kiwi.. so nice!
i will buy more tendertones later...

I can't believe I haven't tried a Tendertone until now. I got this and Hush, Hush and I love them both. They have the smoothest texture, with no stickiness. The scent is exactly like strawberry-kiwi and I love that these have SPF12. I love the shade of this, a pale green, which doesn't really show up green, but helps me create a pale lip look, which I love. Would definately repurchase!

This is my favourite lip balm ever!!!, I know the jars aren't to everyone's taste but I personally love them. The Jar is about the same size and weight as the paint pots. The lip balm is a lovely lime green colour in the pan with a fresh and fruity smell which I absolutely adore. On the lips its a gorgeous clear moisturising balm. My lips have never felt/looked better. Mac please make these permanent as I will definately repurchase again and again!!!

This was LE with the May 2007 Tendertones collection. The official color description is light lime green with multicolour pearl.

This is my favorite lipbalm. It is lime green in the pot, but it goes on as just a clear, shiny balm. It has SPF12, and it is incredibly moisturizing. It also smells amazing - strawberry kiwi is how I would describe it. It makes my lips so smooth and it lasts for hours. One thing I don't like about these is the pot they come in - it's hard to apply when you have long fingernails. Other than that I would definitely recommend this to anyone. I will be buying more tendertones in the future.
