First and foremost, the formulation and product quality of the Rouge Allure lipsticks are fantastic. I adore them, my only problem with this lipstick was the color. It wasn't for me. I have very pale lips and this was slightly darker and pinker than I expected (based on swatches and a review on Temptalia). I didn't give it a low rating because it isn't the lipstick's fault the pink isn't the pink I was looking for. I was looking for a slightly paler and more nude pink, and this has blue in it. I kept it, I'll be able to use it, and you can throw it on pretty easily. Besides, this year it's nude pink, next year I'll want blue pink, I never know what I'm going to all of a sudden decide I "need". I can't get enough of the Rouge Allure lipsticks in the right colors for me though.

I thought this was just OK. I was excited to get it - I do like the finishes of the Chanel Rouge Allure lipsticks. However, haven't been able to find that perfect MLBB color with them.

This is a slightly lighter and not quite as blue-tinted as MAC's Syrup l/s.

I was able to get it on ebay for about $15 shipped (mine is a tester version), but is full size. Which is about half the price these normally are. I still think they are way over-priced.

Unless they come out with some fantastic new nude colors, I won't be trying these again.

I try to avoid impulse buys, but in this case I caved. Naive is a LE lipstick that is a shade of wearable pink with gold shimmer. To be honest, the shade leans a tiny bit too far in the gold direction for me and my porcelain pink skin. But by lightly covering my lips with Bobbi Brown's corrector before applying I can neutralize the gold in it a little bit. This way I get a lovely bright-ish pink that lights up my face. I think that this will make a better summer than winter color for me, although most people could probably wear it year round. The formula is non-drying and not too matte. The wear time is excellent as well.

Do I think that this lipstick is worth $30? No, I don't. Even with the luxurious packaging I don't believe that this lipstick is worth what it cost. But sometimes you want to splurge and I don't regret that I did. I do wish that Chanel didn't perfume their lipsticks though. It smells kind of like roses and dust, the way a pressed flower would smell. Not offensive exactly, but I would have been happier without it.

Chanel, in general are my favorite lipstick brand. Rouge Allure probably have the best, creamiest formula ever. Naive is the perfect pink nude shade, and of course it was a LE!

Love this! This is the only nude that I've been able to pull off. I have extremely fair skin and most make me look dead. This one has just enough rose in it. When you swatch it, it looks like it has a bunch of shimmer in it, but on lips this doesn't show up at all. Thank God cos I hate shimmer/frosty lipsticks. The texture is extremely creamy and so smooth to apply, feels like putting on lip balm.

Chanel has reintroduced this for Summer 2009, part of the Les Naturels de Chanel collention. I really can't improve on what Justify_my_Love has written. This is a totally wearable pinky-nude--just a beautiful, "innocent," clear color with the finest, softest gold shimmer that lights up my face, yet is subtle. It goes with pretty much every look and everything you wear. One coat is enough for casual wear; layer it, and you have a more polished look. The formula is indeed creamy, moisturizing, and long-lasting. I have been wearing this almost every day since I got it, which is very rare for me, but I love the formula, the feel, and how it looks on my lips. I will repurchase!

Hmm... I'm so on the fence with this lippie. First off- the price- $30 ($32.76 with tax) is whopping. I never thought that I'd EVER pay this much for a lipstick, even Chanel! Anyways, enough about the ubsurb price. The colour is VERY sheer, pinky/beigey (not nude as the other reviewers stated). I needed 3 coats to get some pigment and I do not have pigmented lips whatsoever. I was mind-boggled why the price was so high- the lippie isn't pigmented. There is no smell (as opposed to the Rouge hydrabase smelling like roses), neither moisturizing nor drying and.... just average. I'm sure you could get this colour in MAC .. let alone NYX to be honest. Besides the regal luxury quality of the packaging, there is nothing else to be spoken of about this lipstick. Not re-purchase status :[

Simply put, this is the greatest pinky-nude/ MLBB lipstick of all time. I have tried for ages to find a nude/ MLBB shade that did not wash me out or clash with my skintone. Every single one of them looked bad on me...they were too brown, or too nude, or too greyish on my lips. I was hesitant to try Naive, but seeing that 100% of the reviewers for this would buy it again, I figured I should give it a try. I am thrilled with my purchase- this is the one! Naive is a subtle, fleshed pink with the softest gold shimmer (you don't see the shimmer on the lips) that goes with many makeup looks. The formula is creamy, moisturizing, and long-lasting. I will definately buy this again :-)

GORGEOUS! I went to every makeup store from Lausanne to Geneva looking for this with no luck, and my mom brought me one from the US. The best way I can describe Naive is that it is a cooler mauve-y version of Tender- not that Tender is warm, just that Naive has a bit more of a bluish pink to it. Love it. Worth the wait. I love it more than Tender and I LOVE Tender. Tender and Naive are as close to nude as I can get and both are perfect.

Green eyes, dark blonde hair, NC15 leaning towards neutral with decently pigmented lips. RAs have enough pigment to cover the pigment in my lips without being so high-pigment that they are flat. This is one of the few RAs I have tried that look in the tube like they go on. This is a practically perfect pink as I love love love mauve-y pinks.

If you can't find Naive, don't despair, Tender is just a smidge more pink and a smidge more warm, but dare I say that Naive is simply gorgeous.

Edited 9 Nov 08- Still totally in love with this lippie and dare I say I like it more than Tender because Naive is slightly cooler. I hope to do a side by side swatch soon but if you can still find Naive, run do not walk and get it. Thank you lovely MUAer for my backup!

Well, to begin with, Chanel Rouge Allure lipsticks are simply a very high quality product. When applying, it goes on like silk and the finish is perfection.

However, when it comes to particular colors, there are always personal differences in what works well. I was dying for this color and as it turns out, with my current skintone (nc35ish olive with unavoidable summer tan), this color blends abit too much. I was expecting MLBB but this is taken to too high a degree (to the point that it is almost invisible). I still love the color and I look forward to trying it in the fall/winter when my skin tone will change back to normal.

Despite the above concern, I'm loving using this lippie and experimenting with various combinations of glosses. Right now my favorites are combinations with Chanel ironic tonic and spark. If I combine it with giggle unfortunately my lips disappear entirely (sort of the opposite of the cheshire cat lol).

In summary, this is a lovely product but for me, not quite visible enough right now. Just for reference, another color that is working for me is MAC twig (which is too dark for me in winter).

I hesitated to check this one out because while it looked gorgeous in pics I saw on the board and on some MUAers personally, I worried how it would look on my pigmented lips. I went to the counter and they didn't have a tester. It took the ma a few to even find one for sale because it is still so new. I reluctantly bought it without swatching it or trying it on. I was only able to try on the other from Summer, Curious- which I am now lemming, but didn't buy actually!

Anyway, I brought it home and put on Naive. It is beautiful! Perfect nude pink on me! It is what I had wanted MAC 3N to be for me. A lot of people recommended 3N, but I have to pair it with the 3N gloss to get anything close to what I hoped for. Naive is so much better though! The feel and smell of Rouge Allure lippies is great in itself, but this color is now a HG of mine!

This is one of those lipsticks that I hesitated to review. I love it so much that I'm afraid I'll never be able to find it again if I keep raving about it. Though, I decided I had to tell my tale. I have been wearing this almost every day for about two months.I'm not sure if that's right, maybe less than that, but as soon as it hit the counters, I bought it. It is without doubt the most perfect pink nude lipstick that I have. Believe me, I have way too many pinky nudes. This is the one that is just right! Love, love. love! P.S. To bring out more of the nude I always wear a very neutral lip pencil. Philosophy nude is great. The Chanel nude is not nude at all. Don't wear that one.

when i first checked out this lipstick, the color didnt look too appealing to me, since i wasnt too sold on how the color looked i decided to just swatch it and decide to come back another time[i was in a hurry]. wow when i got home and remembered i had lipstick on my wrist[lol] i looked at the color and it was gorgeous! its a pink nude with gold shimmer thats not obnoxious looking. i haven't purchased the lipstick yet but i will make sure to check it out the next time i return to the chanel counter! i do fear that the color won't show as great on my lips though because my lips are quite pigmented. hmm we'll see, i'll edit this once i try the actual lipstick on my lips.

What else can I say about this lipstick! On my NW20 skin it looks great! Perfect mauve/pink/nude. MLBB, for sure! It feels great going on, and looks great with any sheer pink or nude lipgloss over it! I am just taking one lippie off for staying power, but with this case I don't mind reapplying! EDIT: I found this color just didn't complement my coloring well and swapped it away!

I had hoped this would be a bit more beige on me, but it's not. I'm still searching for a ls version of BB Pink Beige gloss. Anyway, Naive is lovely, a nice nude mauvey pink that definitely leans on the cool side on my yellow undertoned skin. Standard luxurious Rouge Allure formula and scent. I top Naive w/ Bel Air and Pink Oyster glossimer. Pairs perfectly w/ Narcisse blush.

When I first saw this in the tube it looked like just another nude pink lipstick. I put it on and it turned a beautiful nude color which did not wash out my medium beige skintone (glominerals honey med, Chanel 4.0). This is a great everyday color which is creamy and lasts on my lips. Definately one to try if you are looking for a great pink nude.

Naive was released in the US with Chanel 2008 summer collection together with Curious (that's another review) and all I can say is that my search for a perfect nude pink lipstick it's over. I love Chanel Rouge Allure lipsticks in general and Naive definetly became a staple the minute I put it on. Will repurchase. Continue to see pictures:
