Got this as a GWP and have turned to it again and again. one end is a shimmery pink, the other a shimmery chocolate. The pink is good for highlighting the inner corners of eyes, or even for filling in the whole upper lid if you're in a rush (although it's not the most comfortable feeling to fill in your whole lid with this small of a pencil point). The chocolate brown is gorgeous and has good staying power.
This is a great concept for travel or throwing in your makeup bag without taking up space. It's not as wonderful as the Quick Eyes ES/liner duos they used to make with the little sponge tip, but it's still useful.

ok, I really like the results and the look with this pencil, but my only complaint is that it doesn't glide on very smoothly....kinda leaves chunks of the cream eyeliner behind. a little blending fixes this, but still. anyway, has awesome lasting power. I use the light color smudged under and between my lower lashes to help brighten and open up my eyes. I expected it to wear off after a few hours, but it stays put perfectly all day! I never realized how much using a light colored liner under your lower lashes could really improve your look! I will never be without it now. I would suggest you stop the line before you reach the innermost corner of your eye....on me, if I line beneath my tear duct and in the inner corner it turns weird and kinda flakes off. Strange, but whatever...it looks great on the rest of my eye. I don't normally wear browns well at all, but I do like this brown liner. to make it look good on me, I apply a highlighter shade all over my lid up to my browbone, then use Clinique's be mine duo. I put the light pink shade all over my lid, then apply the darker end of the eye liner to just the outer 1/3 of my upper lash line, then smudge the dark brown shade from the be mine duo on the liner and just slightly above it as well. top with tons of black mascara and *poof* perfect eyes! My current fav look uses:
Philosophy purity cleanser (thought I'd throw that in there, sometimes skincare makes a difference)
philosophy hope in a jar moisturizer
clinique all about eyes rich moisturizer
Thebalm tinted moisturizer
Clinique line perfecting concealer
clinique pressed powder (or thebalm sexy mama pressed powder...both rock!)
Clinique 04 shade bronzer
clinique iced lotus blush
almay brown eyes trio (just the highlighter shade)
clinique Cream Shaper Duo in Brown Sugar/Cream Lustre
clinique be mine e/s duo
thebalm two-timer mascara
revlon eyelash curler
Hope this helps someone :)

This is a lovely pencil duo, part of Clinique's Spring 2008 collection. The Brown Sugar side is a just-right brown--not too dark, not too light, not too red, not too sparkly. The Cream Lustre side is just that--a lightly shimmery true cream color that's perfect for lining under the eye (really wakes up the eye), the inner rim (it doesn't last too long here), or to highlight the inner corner. The cream color can also be used to highlight the bow of the lip, etc. The staying power, if set with loose powder, is very good, and it blends easily. I'm glad I bought this little gem--it'll be getting a lot of use.
