I can't believe I haven't written a review for this one yet. I love this stuff. It's cheap - often on sale for less than $5 at Shoppers Drug Mart and it gives my coarse, extremely processed BKT-d wavyhair a smooth, soft texture. It smells nice too.
I do find myself having to use tons of this product, especially now that my hair is so dry. It feels heavy at first but a lot of the silicone seems to evaporate after a while and I'm left with hair that feels and looks healthy.
I use it on damp hair and let my hair air dry. Then I usually flat iron, using a bit more as needed. Honestly my hair looks so healthy after using, you wouldn't know how much I torture it. I don't buy the label claim that egg proteins benefit hair but my hair loves protein (and oils) so I'm sure it doesn't hurt. Would repurchase in a heartbeat.

This is definitely my new HG serum! I have tried every brand I can think of and I kept going back to John Frieda, but tried this one based on reviews here. I am blown away. This stuff made my hair so shiny and soft and I was even able to blow-dry it out. I NEVER am able to do that because my hair frizzes. This stuff is unreal. One note, using less is more lol. I used the same amount I usually do with others and it was too much (oily).

I have very dry, fine, blonde hair damaged as a result of 10+ years of highlights and hardcore bleaching. I am on a mission to find that one product that will put the moisture back into my hair so I decided to try this out. This product definitely made my hair look better: it felt silky and less "begging for mercy" parched as it usually does. Unfortunately, the irony of it is that it really is not meant for fine hair. The only way I can describe its consistency is as if you put glue on your hair, causing the oils (and whatever else is in there) to sit on top of the hair follicle instead of being absorbed by it, sometimes causing clumping. I tried using a smaller amount and distributing it more sparsely but my hair still ended up looking greasy and weighed down within a couple of hours. It really is a shame.

For the price of this serum, this is the best serum I have ever tried. I don't even need to use conditioner because this serum is so great. I used to have very dry, brittle hair and thanks to this serum my hair is incredibly soft and shiny, it also protects my hair from heat styling. This serum smells so delicious. I will definitely be repurchasing this again!

Not impressed at all. I put this in my towel-dried hair and it still was just as frizzy when it dried without anything in it. It's going back to CVS. Gotta remember to buy real coconut oil--that stuff really works, plus I can cook with it.

It was soo oily and sticky in my hair and it did nothing at all. It comes in a spray though, and that works amazingly. The oil is terrible, but the spray is great.

I was a bit hesitant to try out this serum as I didn't have the greatest overall experience with the Organix coconut milk shampoo and conditioner (see my reviews for the whole story) however this serum really surprised me with how well it works.
After one use I saw a huge improvement in the look and feel of my hair. With continued use I saw even more improvement. My hair is softer, smoother, shiner and has far less breakage / split ends. I have some damage from highlighting excessively and while that hasn't completely been repaired there is definitely a noticeable change in the health and manageability of my hair.
This serum works best if applied on wet hair, combed through and then left to soak in for a few minutes before blow drying or applying any other product.
If you're looking for a high quality serum which isn't in the $40 range give this one a try!

Not a big fan of the Organix Coconut range at all. Before using this serum in conjuction with the shampoo & conditioner, I had used the Organix Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy anti breakage serum and it had been a true miracle worker. My hair was easier to straighten, there was a significat reduction in the amount of breakage/split ends, it felt soft and the little bottle lasted months due to the fact you only need a pea sized amount and it goes a long way. As I was coming to running out of the keratin one, I decided to opt for the coconut one since I had changed to the coconut shampoo & conditioner. The serum feels very greasy when you put a couple of pumps into your hand, and I ran it through the ends and mid section of my towel dried hair. I figured that I would only need a small amount of this one as I presumed it would be like the keratin one. However had I known that the result would turn out like it did I would've halved that small amount! Once dried my hair felt greasy, oily and some of the strands were stuck together! It had never happened to me before so the only thing it could have been would be the serum. I have sinced used an even smaller amount and whilst my hair no longer looks as bad as that the whole anti-breakage claims this product makes are not being lived up to. In fact, I'd say my hair is breaking more than ever. Would not recommend nor buy again.

This product did a decent job defining my wavy-permed hair. I applied it only to the ends. It's lightweight, not too greasy, smoothes, and smells great upon application. However, during the day the coconut scent altered and made my hair smell stale and rancid. Still smelled slightly coconutty but was not pleasant at all. I bought this product on sale (its regular price is already very affordable), so possibly the inventory was old. I will be disposing of my bottle and will not repurchase.

So I have mixed feelings about this product. I used for a year and while I don't hate it, I never experienced a wow factor. I have fine hair that I dye frequently and used in conjunction when I had the ombre look and it kept my bleached out ends moisturizer and reduced breakage.
Smell: amazing coconut and slight chocolate? Aroma. Def no complaints on scent.
Texture: it's a bit of a thicker serum but I never had a problem with it weighing my hair down.
Overall: good serum with quality ingredients and a bottle will last a long time.
