Some people say it dries up really quickly but it didnt happen to me. I've had this eyeliner for around a year and it's still really inky!
Felt tip is a bit too thin to my liking though, I need to apply multiple times to make a nice looking line on my double eyelid. Lasting power...hmm...I guess it's alright. I wore it for 12 hours yesterday and it didn't start smudging until the 7th hour so I guess it does what it says. Down side is, the colour comes off if you touch your eyelid!
I bought this from eBay so the price was really good! Will not repurchase though, there should be better liquid liners out there!

Eh, I'm kind of disappointed with this product. The tip always dries out easily and rubs off in a blue-ish color (I bought the black one). Otherwise, it gives a nice line, but it bugs me how the tip is so stiff.

When I first tested it I thought it was great. The felt tip gave very precise and smooth lines on the back of my hand and when I rub it it didn't come off easily. It should be waterproof but when I wash my with water it comes off very easily! It does not stay at all on my eyelids. It starts to smudge shortly after I apply it on my lids. Also the ink doesn't come out when I apply it over my eyeshadow. I am wondering whether it's because I didn't put primer. I will try it again sometime. But overall I'm very disappointed with this eyeliner.

This item dries out wayy too quickly, even so, I like this liner a lot. It gives me a precise line every time. I always do a winged out eye and this product does the trick for me in no less than a minute. I use to used the L'oreal felt tip liner but they totally reinvented the formula and now it sucks. I bought this for $7. It's pretty pricy for how long the product lasts. ( I'd say about a month max), but it works- so until I find something that tops this as my hg liquid liner, i'll stick to this little pen that dries out wayy too quickly..

I also find this product to be a bit harsh on my eyelids. From the felt tip name, you would have thought it would give you a nice featherlight application, but the felt is really hard on this pen and sometimes it hurts while applying the product..

I was super excited to try this out - saw that Jen from the 'frmheadtotoe' blog liked it, so I bought myself one. This isn't the first liquid eyeliner I've bought, but it's definitely the worst. Despite the really thin, precise line which I LOVE!, and how easy it is to work with, the tip dried out within a week and a half. Yikes!

The one product in my arsenal that I simply cannot live without. I'm one of those people that just has an absolute hard time putting on eyeliner. Even the professional artist that did my the makeup for my wedding mentioned that it has to do with my eye shape. Even though I wanted to slap her across the face for making me feel like I had "alien eyes", I realized she was right. I usually end up triple piling my eyeliner and it's always super thick. Ulta was having a BOGO sale on NYX products so I picked up two of these eyeliners and I havent looked back since. It's the eyeliner I reach for to perfect any squiggle lines from using other eyeliners

This is a good eyeliner. Does what it says. It smudges a little (but most eyeliners smudge for me - except for Loreal liquid liner). I got the Jet Black and the Dark Brown; both very nice colors. It is very easy to control, but I think it is too thin for me. I have to draw an outline and then fill it in (I usually do around 0.75mm line). You will NOT be able to remove this without eye make up remover. With other liners, i can dab off mistakes immediately after making them with a tissue/q-tip. With this, the moment you put it on your skin, it's set.
Like others said, it is very similar to a marker (like a Sharpie).
After reading the reviews here, I'm nervous about it drying out so I'm going to keep it cap down and keep you updated on how long it lasts.
I would say I will buy it again, only because I got it for $2! TWO DOLLARS!! (I still like Loreal liquid liner more)

Edit: This dried out really quickly. I've pretty much found that any eyeliner marker does. It's a shame because it really is a convenient packaging.

I've been using the same liquid eyeliner for a while now (Revlon Colorstay), and it has a similar felt-tip to it. But for whatever reason, the NYX felt tip eyeliner is 100 times easier to apply. I do a winged eyeliner most days with a fairly thin line, and I'd started using a eyeliner brush to to it with the Revlon one because I couldn't get it as thin as I liked. No more with the NYX eyeliner. I'm sold. I want all the colors.

After having a major issue with the Tokidoki liner, I was reluctant to try another felt tip liner....but this was on sale so I decided to give it a try...Dark Brown was the only color left.,,and since I was looking for a softer look, I bought it. I was really pleased. I'm used to pencils which are very forgiving, but this liner went on like a dream. It was so dark as to almost be black, but no problem for me. This went on smoothly, the tip was just flexible enough to vary the line from thin to thick, and the consistancy was perfect. So was the price. I found that the wear was good, it lasted as long as I needed it to, and it came of easily. Didn't burn, flake or fade out. What more could you ask? I have a Kat Von D Tattoo liner coming from Sephora, and if it doesn't perform as well as this, it's going back. Even if it doesn't last as long as the Kat Von D, I can buy 2 or 3 Nyx for the same price. I was happy with it, and would consider other colors. They look great with a fat shimmer shadow pencil laid on thick, with a thin liquid line right against the lashes,...subtle but effective.

I love, love, love this eyeliner. I think Jet Black is the color I have. I lost it a few days after buying it off of cherryculture.com but then found the same one at Ulta, I was so happy. I find this eyeliner super easy to apply and very long lasting. I use UDPP underneath and while my eyeshadow will still sometimes crease after a few hours (I have very oily skin) this eyeliner is still there just like the moment I put it on even after 10 hours of wear! Will definitely keep repurchasing! Oh and I store it lying down on it's side and have had no problems with drying out. I have had it for about 3 weeks now...

I bought this eyeliner to replace the one I had, and it was also on sale at my local drug store. I bought it in Extreme Black, which is blue-based. I have a double lid, and personally I find it hard to used pencil liners and eyeliners with a brush applicator so I decided to try a felt tip eyeliner.

At first, I loved how dark it was, but it realized that it started fading and turn to a dark blue. The staying power isn't as good as I though it would be. I love NYX and I love their products, but this one I'm not impressed with.

I haven't tried any of the other colors, but I would consider buying this product again because it seems to be the only eyeliner that is easy for me to use. The color is very intense, but it can bleed which will give a blue hue to your eyelid.

In my opinion, this felt tip liner, is actually very good. Mine is at least. I've read other reviews that have said they don't like it because it dries out too easily but I've been using mine for over a month or two now and it's still perfect.

I don't leave mine upside down, so all the eyeliner goes down into the felt tip and works better and whatnot. I put mine all which ways and it's still perfectly fine.

I would defo buy again.

The felt tip on this pen hurts my eye! Good lord. I would apply to my eye and nothing would appear on my eye. I pressed a little harder and still nothing. So I put a little water on it and it worked but then it smudged so its now going in the trash. It didn't work for me but it might work for you. The price is good. I payed like $4.00. Which is good but I wont buy again.

I bought this on a fluke. I needed liquid eyeliner and figured I'd try this out. I really really liked how pigmented it was and the felt tip really worked. I noticed a lot of mixed reviews on here after I bought it, but decided to keep using it. I would put it upside down to store it and sometimes on its side and it seemed to last longer than most people said it would. I did notice it started to dry out, so I had to toss it, and I kind of regret it, because I might have tossed it too soon. Oh wells. But you do get a lot of use out of it. I really liked it.

this product took a while to like... then dislike again. first off, when i first used this formula, the ink of this liner is runny and gave an inconsistent line; it was so hard to control the application. then, after a week, the formula started to get a bit of consistency. it was like a 180 and i started to like this product. it was very easy for me to apply and control. i thought, "oh, well, just give it a while and it'll work fine." but, after using this for about a couple of months, the formula got a little too dry. i still use it, but i have to run over a few spots that i've lined that wasn't really pigmented. also, it's a little harder for me to draw a cat-eye on this. overall, this works like a marker; a marker loses it's ink after a while and then you move on to a new one. it was good while it lasted. i rated this as a product i wouldn't buy again, but really, i'm not too sure. this liner is different from other ones. when it's behaved well, i really love it and it's really easy to wash off with soap and water.

I did a previous review on another felt tip liner. I bought this one to basically bring up the cost of an order to make free shipping, and it was on sale. Used it once, and only to compare the the other felt tip liner I have. Same problems, though this one has a more defined tip, so my line was not as messy. I think that perhaps felt tip liners are not for me. I do find that these liners are great for drawing patterns on the face for Halloween, and the color stays put. The rest of my face is not as sensitive as my eyelids, so I draw away with great control, line and color.

This is one of the first NYX products I can actually say I really dislike.

I bought this in Extreme Black (which is blue based, and quite dark). At first when freshly opened this is extremely runny and difficult to control unless you want a thick line. I had it stored in a pencil cup capside down as NYX suggests and used it about 2-3 times. Last time I checked, not even a month after owning it it wasn't runny anymore but now it's dried up instead!!.I tried flushing the outside of the tube in hot water hoping it'll help a bit (which it did intially but dried up a day later again).

The felt tip and the formula just doesn't work well together as I am 100% certain the cap was fully closed and stored correctly. Also NYX call these a one-day tattoo giving the impression it's waterproof however it's really not. Infact if you wear this liner and end up outside on a rainy day I'm sure you'd get the running racoon eyes sadly. It is easy to wash off though but just smudges too easily... I really wouldn't suggest this for those with sensitive eyes or anyone really. Retailing at $7 on average, this isn't super cheap from NYX especially considering it's a mediocre product you won't get more than a week's use from... I had a longer product life span with Jordana's Fabuliner which is only $2 and lasts about half a year or more. While that one isn't waterproof either, it smudged a lot less and worked better. Sorry NYX, your felt tip liner is full of fail.

Ooooo. Not a fan. Applied easily and thought it would be great. Wrong. The liner dried out very quickly and in a week is too dry to use. I am beginning to like NYX other products as they are so reasonably priced. Not this one. I made sure the lid was snapped shut too btw. Will not repurchase this product, but will continue purchasing NYX from cherryculture.com.

This is the first felt-tip pen-liner I have ever used, so I'm a little biased. I bought this in Black at Ulta for $7.99 & I used it today for a winged eyeliner look. I have started using liquid eyeliner (I'm not that skilled w/ it yet) & before that I used either my Bobbi Brown Gel Eyeliner or I wet a dark e/s & apply it as liner w/ an angled brush (this the easiest way IMO). I really like this pen because it is VERY easy to use & stays on pretty long w/ no fading or smudging.

The only problem I had is that when I curled my eyelashes after using it, it kind of smudged my line a little (maybe because it wasn't dried completely), SO IF YOU USE THIS, CURL YOUR EYELASHES BEFOREHAND. Otherwise, it's great!
