Wow love love Sheer Plum no.601 it is just what I've been looking for moisturising, long-lasting colour for a sheer and not foul smelling/tasting. I've several lipsticks in the plum - berry palette. This is definitely one of my favourite although its the most expensive lippy I've bought at £24 ( pound sterling). Recently bought Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color in Cherry Pink and Black Plum (which I've also reviewed). Love those colours but this has longer staying power. Will be buying no 600 & 602 soon. Lovely plum colour too. Try it on because looks different in tube and different on - also depends on what your lip tone is too.

I have recieved several PM's regarding this product after I mentioned it on the boards, so I thought it best to do a full product review. Sheer lipstick #55 is the perfect nude on my light/leaning towards medium skintone (GA LSF#5). I finally made it to Saks and scoured the lip product section only to see this beautiful nude lippie. It has just enough pink to keep me from looking like a corpse and a slighly luminescent finish. It reminds me a little of NARS belle de jour, but with better texture and a slighly shimmery finish (hardly noticable, though). I love to top this with lip shimmer #47 for a nice nude lip. Armani's lipsticks have wonderful texture and staying power and don't dry my lips out at all. I rarely wear lipstick, but when I do, this is definitely one I have been reaching for quite frequently lately.

bought this in no 6, is a great sheer neutral red, light enough for during the day and suited my cool toned skin perfectly, leaves a tint behind as it wears off but feels a bit try on lips, would still buy again though

I was very underwhelmed with the product. It went on nice and smooth and the color stayed true, but it also felt somewhat thin and not very emollient. It wasn't bad - just not great. I was disappointed given the rave reviews.

I love Armani lipstick. The package is very sleek and I love the matt black.
I plan to buy them more near future.
However, 1 lippie off. Expensive. When I buy 1 lipstick, 1 lipliner, 1 eyeliner, it was easily the price I can have very good French cuisine at the fancy restaurant or nice leather products which I could own for life. Anyways...


I am a huge fan of Armani line. I know L'Oreal owns Armani. I hate L'Oreal lipstick beacuse of the smell. I have to remanind myself that the cost of making lipstick is about $1 or so. We are paying for packaging, the name etc.

Although I love Armani lipsticks, I also feel drugstore lipsticks are as good. I will be 40 years old soon and I have tried tons of expensive lipsticks in the past ie..YSL,Chanel...

I hate lipstick, but I love Armani sheers. They feel wonderful on the lips, very balm-like. The colors stay true for hours. Absolutely perfect.

I LOVE Armani Sheers; they are my purse staples. These lipsticks' colour and texture are far superior to the many brands I've tried. I have #10 (natural rose pink), #9 (juicy berry), and #6 (sheer warm red). All of the colours above are wearable day or night, with or without makeup...and enhances different tones in your natural lipcolour. The texture is lovely...very moist and lightweight, smooth like a balm. It plumps out your lips and makes them even more '3D'! I've never found anything better than Armani lipsticks...hooked and happy!!

I have this beautiful lipstick in number 23#.I LOVE LOVE LOVE this!It's super smooth and gives me the perfect nude mouth.I agree with the other reviewers who commented that it was like wearing a lipbalm...but...it's more than that.. it's so sublime!Try one!!!!!Mr Armani...you are the king of cosmetics!

These are AMAZING, divine, heaven-sent. The texture is the smoothest and silkiest of any lipstick I have ever used, and yet they last for hours. The colors are beautiful -- subtle and unique. I have eight of these things and every single color I have purchased has been fab on me. The ones I have are #2 (peachy nude), 6 (sheer bright red), 9 (shimmery bright raspberry), 10 (pinky-brown, rather like NARS Dolce Vita but of course, better texture), 11 (lighter, pinker nude- may be my favorite on me), 18 (peachy coral), 19 (shimmery mauve) and 21 (sheer cool berry). I would love to purchase more if there were more colors I thought I could wear. If you wear any lip color at all, you NEED to try these. Really, you do! The $25 may hurt for some, but I'd pay even more than that for these. They're that amazing.

I'm shocked that some of the reviews complain about the staying power.....mine lasted ALL DAY WITHOUT ANY REAPPLICATION! I was astounded. PERFECT and I need more more more!

I'm a lipstick ho and own hundreds of lipstick---can't pass a mu counter w/o checking out the lipsticks. So when I tell you that these are my fav lipsticks, you can take that to the bank. They are the perfect amt of moisture, shine and color for my tastes. No smell, no taste. Pricey and hard to find for me but these are WORTH IT!

I only have one shade of the Sheer lipstick, but I love everything about it. It's moist, sheer, and I can even apply the lipstick without a mirror. Sometimes I'll just put it on at my desk at work, and it's like applying a tinted balm.

These lipsticks, like all GA cosmetics, are to die for. The texture is unlike anything I have ever seen, and the colors, amazing. These are the most shiny and moisturizing lipsticks out there, I'm sure. The packaging is stylish and the price is average for this high-end line. I love these and there aren't many colors that don't work on me since they are sheer and blendable for more color. I love Sheer #16. A work of art. Truly a pleasure to put on and to wear. Quality through and through.

These are the best Sheer Lipsticks ever! I use to think NARS Sheer Lipsticks were good, but these far exceed NARS. For a sheer lipstick the staying power is okay, but they are so moisturizing and leave your lips dewy and glossy. I have bought quite a few colors and I haven’t been disappointed w/ any of them. This is definitely a GA product you shouldn’t pass up.

Well, I am a sucker for Armani. Stopped by the Saks counter a second time during my trip to Boston and purchased #'s 9 and 10 in the sheer formula.

Number 9 is a bright raspberry pink that brightens my LLL complexion. I can either jazz it up with a lipliner or wear it solo.

Number 10 is similiar to Nars' Dolce Vita, a YLBB glossy rosy brown that can be enhanced with liner. Unfortunately Saks ran out of Lipliner #2, so I will have to order it via telephone.

These lipsticks are divine. They feel like absolutely nothing on. This is the silkiest formula I´ve ever encountered and the most confortable lipstick to date. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, infused with moisture and shine, that enhance the lips rather then cover them. Worth every penny.

Oh sorry...got a little carried away there. Armani Sheer lipstick. The absolute best lipstick to ever grace my lips. Light, moisturizing, longlasting color that stays true until it wears off...hours later. At $35.00 a tube I have no problem going without food for a week to pay for this superb product.

I have this in #11 and it is absolutely beautiful. Great shades and formulation but my only complaint is that they don't stay on very long for something that's so expensive. Feels beautiful on my lips though.

These sheers are divine, leaving a whisper of diaphanous colour on lips that makes them look soft and petal-like. They don't last terribly long - but what an impact. More proof that less is more.
