God this looks too too too uber gorgeous fabulous in the tube!!! So beautiful! I am not kidding! Before I even saw the name I thought it looked like Cherry blossoms...OMG and it is Tokyo Plum Blossom!!! How close did I get !!! Texture is amazing like all JTs, very smooth and moisturizing and it lasts. BUT..the goodness ends there. It smells awful...........I put it on initially and it smells great, kind of like fresh cherries and flowers, soon it dries down very floral. It makes me sick to my stomach. Then the colour is horrible. It is a sheer gloss, I knew that, but I did not know how frosty this turned out to be, it left a terrible silvery coat on my lips of tiny shimmery sparkles. If you are looking for shimmer, this is it! But I don't like my gloss to be shimmery like that. LOVE the tube, hate the gloss on my lips. Overall do not recommended it at all.

Oh, Tokyo Plum Blossom... you are my HG lip gloss! I'm not a die-hard fan of Juicy Tubes, as the only other one I liked was Plum Freeze (also LE). This however, is non-sticky (just like plum freeze), super glossy, and *lasts*. I usually apply it over my purple/pink lipsticks and it finishes it off *SO* incredibly well. This gloss gives it a high-shine 3D finish and has beautiful, shimmery, twinkling sparkles to top it off. And I mean this gloss is *really* shimmery & it is *really* glossy. I guess it's similar to the concept of MAC Dazzleglass's, but I personally feel this one is superior. I bought two back ups - it's that good! Reading the reviews, I've noticed others mentioned a smell. I, personally, LOVE it. I don't think it's too overwhelming or sweet - it's just pleasant. The smell almost gives it a luxury sense to it. Really, if you're debating whether or not you should buy it - GO OUT AND GRAB ONE! The picture here does it no justice. You just have to try it. I did, and I'm one happy camper! (:

Oh, the World Tour collection. I got this off ebay without box for 18 consider that it retails for about $28 in Canada. (Blood suckers!)
I love the package cause it's kinda unique - a woman illustrated on the front of tube, kinda dreamy.. It is plummy color with lots of sparkles - all kinds of colors depend under which lighting you are under. I wore this and it looks heavenly under direct light. I like this disco ball look since it is sparkles, not chunky glitters. Not gritty!
One lippy off for the STRONG perfumey smell - the first time I put it on, I just had my lunch and I really wanted to get fresh air... Now I'm used to it somewhat also because I use it once in a while. This tube will last you at least a year if you apply it every week. This can work as a breath freshener when I'm out of gum! LOL

Tokyo Plum Blossom is a light plummy purple with silver shimmer in the tube, but applies very sheerly. It gives a slight pink tinge with sparkle to my pigmented lips.
The scent is very, very sweet and definitely smells like plum blossom. However I find it a bit too floral & strong for my liking. I can't really stomach wearing this gloss because the scent is too strong for me.
If you are not bothered by sweet floral scents, this is a great gloss. Very smooth textured with a glossy shimmery finish. Great for something that looks natural but with a bit of oomph & sparkle!

It seems I am the only one so far who really, really loves this...I just bought it today, and as soon as I applied it, I fell in love with it. I have always liked Juicy Tubes, but this is just the ideal shade for me. And the scent/ taste is lovely. I'm sure some people will complain that the scent/taste is too strong/gross/etc, etc, but personally, I think it's delicious. It smells like candy and sugar and something else delicious I can't quite place my finger on. But whatever it is, I love it.
As with most JT's, this is a bit thick and "gluey" in texture. Personally, I don't love that texture, but it is much better than something runny, because I know it will stay on long.
As for the shade, it's not so much a plum to me as it is a medium pink shot through with streaks of shimmer. It's absolutely beautiful, and my perfect pink.
I really, really wish this wasn't LE...I am going to have to stock up on this because I love it so much.

I like this, but I don't love it. The color just isn't *quite* right on my lips (lip color always shows up very brightly on me, and I have quite pale skin). It also might have just a bit too much shimmer for me. I find it slightly drying, but that can be solved by always applying a lip balm underneath.
I do think it's pretty, and cute, and I'm glad that I have it, but retrospectively, I might have been better off choosing another shade.

I am a rehabilitated JT wh*re, but ultimately rehabilitation only goes so far against temptation. I held off for a couple months after the collection was released before finally caving and buying this. On my dark pink pigmented lips, it's a medium-shine cool-toned shimmer with very tiny rainbow microglitter. I would never buy this based on the shade itself, but the name, packaging, and yummy plummy scent make it a keeper. It works well over lipsticks (MAC Plumful!). JTs have a longlasting thick, sticky texture that can be a bit drying without a balm underneath - especially true of this one because of the shimmer. I do love this and would gladly buy it again.

This is part of the World Tour JT's with designs on the tube by Brit fashion designer Christopher Kane. The main reason for me wanting all of these JT's is the gorgeous LE tube (I loved the Julie Verhoeven design last year).
I got Tokyo Plum Blossom (before they are even out in the UK), this shade is a pale pink with micro-silver glitter and the usual JT high-shine. On my lips I find this a little too pale for me (60's pale), the glitter however is very fine and not at all 'teen'. The downside is the floral scent, which is far too overpowering for me, I can smell it long after application and it's a sort of old granny, shampoo smell (and usually I like scents). I think this will put me off using this, as I'd rather use similar (and better) pale pinks in Marshmallow Electro or Fruity Pop.
I won't purchase this particular JT again, but look forward to trying others in the range...I already have Grand Cafe Creme Brulee (which looks similar to Toffee R&B) which I haven't tried yet.

Lancome's Limited Edition Tokyo Plum Blossom JT, released as part of "Juicy Tubes World Tour by Christopher Kane" (Spring 2008), is a lilac-pink with pretty fine silver shimmer. The effect on my lips is subdued pinky nude, which is nice b/c for once, this nude lip look doesn't lean orange, brown, or beige against my C3 skin. There's a pink and white drawing of a woman - very Klimt-like - on the tube. The candy scent is hardly noticeable after the first application. Lasting power as with all JT is excellent. The shimmer makes lips look plump. I can see myself using up this whole LE tube!
