Not a huge fan of this. I prefer lipstick with a more matte finish, this was very shiny and metallic, and didn't last all that long.

Goes on smooth, stays smooth and the colour lasts! It was more than what I expected when I initially brought this lipstick.

i have this in shade 06 and 54.

06 is a dark nude pink. it is not a light pink, more in the brown/mauve side. its smooth and is definitley not overpowering. the lasting power is pretty much the same as any lipstick... 2-3 hours without eating or drinking anything.

54 is a frosty light nudish pink. id use this if you have a dramatic eye. when i wiped it off there was shimmer, but i couldnt notice much shimmer on my lips. its smooth to apply and the lasting power is the same as 06.

the body shop is an underrated brand. ive tried some of their eyeshadows and theyre amazing. id definitley recommend these lipsticks to anyone and $12 isnt so bad for a higher end brand.

I have this lipstick in shade 66 which is a coral orange. It is a flattering lipstick color for my complexion.

It goes on smooth like a lip balm but because of that, it only lasts as long as a lip balm. I need to reapply this frequently if I want to have color on my lips the whole time I'm out. It smells good and has a nice, slightly sweet lipstick taste. (I lick my lips a lot)

It has a sort of frosted finish to it. Kind of matte but kind of frosty or shimmery. I can see this being a problem for a woman who has a lot of fine lines around her lips or for anyone with chapped lips.

I bought this because they had a shade I had been looking for a while... Definitely this brand has the worst makeup products :S This one is so dry, it's like trying to paint your lips with a crayon. Hated it.

Wanted to try a red so bought this in #22 as suggested by the SA.
IT's really nice for my skin tone - nc35 for comparison.
Stayed on through drinks on a night out so good staying power.
great colour.
I would not buy it again due to the fact that I'm not brave enough for a red on a regular basis so mine will probably suffice but if I was to wear red regularly then i probably would buy again

waxy and dry, does not go on smoothly or evenly, bleeds easily and wears off in no time.

The Body Shop recently reformulated all of their Lipsticks. Their original collection was the perfect demi-matte, but now they are more mosturizing.

I don't have a problem with the fact that they made them more moisturizing. My problem is that by changing the formula, they totally destroyed the colors.

I alway wore Clover Pink (the perfect brown-pink). This color was like my lips only better. The new formula looks nothing like that. Now my favortie Pink Clover looks more like a beigey peach. Not good!

The quality of these lipsticks are very good, but everyone should be aware that their favorite color may no longer be the same.

I tried a limited eddition colour in this last spring and its the best lipstick ever. I think it may be a little diferent to the other lipticks, i tried it in shade 2. Its so soft and creamy it almost goes on like a pigmented balm and it gives my lips a lovelly subtle blush colour. Great for a natural make up look and moisturises lips well.

I have this in #30 Beechnut, which is a great neutral color for me, MLBB, recommended . On my pigmented lips it's a pinky brown color, nothing to adventurous. I got one of these ages ago in the old green packaging then I bought another one recently in the silver 'bullet' packaging and was a little disappointed as the color and smell was different. The old one has a slight minty smell to it and the new one has a vanilla smell and the color was more orangy/brown with a hint of pink (similar to MAC taupe). Anyhow the old one I have is one of the few lipsticks that I have actually nearly finished and that is saying a lot for me. One of the good things about it is that it is really pigmented and the lasting power on these are pretty good, it does apply with a dry texture and can sink into lines, I just apply lipbalm after for added moisture. However if your lips are super dry with cracks I wouldn't recommend these. I would not purchase again as I have 3 of these already and think TBS make-up is way overpriced, especially considering they are now owned by L'oreal.

I have #72 and it absolutely dried out my lips. Now I can't wear it anymore and I feel like I just wasted my money on it (TBS is not cheap). I dunno why it dries my lips so much, it chaps my lips too much so I usually have dry skin on them. My friends point them out to me and it's embarrassing. Never buying this again.

EDIT: I found a way to lessen the drying by putting first Chapstick on my lips as primer and then putting on this lipstick. It's better now, and I wear it more often than before because I really love the color. I'm raising it to 3 lippies from 2!

I bought #71 and I loved it! The color is vibrant and absolutely amazing...I didn't stop wearing it throughout the summer(you must be careful though, in the summer it might start melting in your bag, it happened to me!). The truth is that I usually prefer lip glosses as my lips are quite dry, however, this lipstick did not disappoint me: it actually moisturized my lips. Another good thing about it, is its staying power. As far as the packaging is concerned, well, I personally find it quite attractive. Last but not least, I'm really glad to know that the Body Shop products have not been tested on animals...another reason to repurchase this product! :-)

I own this in 63, a peachy apricot pink shade.

Packaging: Sleek, silver metal case. The top stays on even when tossed in a messenger bag full of books=very firm. Slightly smaller than other lipsticks. Looks nice.

Shade: Very cute, looks good peachy and lovely even on my quite pigmented lips. Flatters my yellow-toned skin.

Product: quite a stiff lipstick, on lips it's thin, satin in finish and rather pigmented. Not especially moisturizing but not at all drying.
Smells strongly of fruity tea in the stick, not really noticeable on lips, it doesn't really bother me anyway (but I do love tea haha).

It's a bit expensive but not shockingly so. I mean, it's not YSL or anything.

Would definitely repurchase, I'm looking into other shades as well.

I received a blister pack sample of the new Colourglide Lip Colour in two shades, 14 Pink Ginger and 49 Berry Shimmer, with a little sponge tip applicator. BERRY SHIMMER or Shade 49 is my favorite. It’s a gorgeous, cool, shimmery, medium pink, full of pigment, and great with my blue eyes and blonde hair, especially blotted where it turns into a soft, starry pink. Love it! PINK GINGER is a darker pink with no shimmer but still bright and is probably a universally flattering color for women who wear pink l/s, but I like a smoky eye, so maybe I’ll wear this color later, when I’m older LOL ;) Unfortunately I will not be going out to TBS to purchase one of these because of their scent which is unpleasant to me. Sorry, TBS! Otherwise, I would run out to get one right away. I LOVE Berry Shimmer. :(

UPDATE September 4, 2009: The samples I tried had an unpleasant scent, but the lipsticks at the store were fine. They actually had a a very light, PLEASANT scent. An employee convinced me to buy one, saying that the unpleasant scent in the samples was probably beeswax. (Who knows?) Anyway, I got shade 54 Pastel Rose, and it is absolutely perfect as is, nothing underneath, no blotting after application, no gloss on top. A beautiful, shimmery, cool-to-neutral, nude pale pink. Great with a smokey eye. And the texture isn't as dry as the one the samples had so the lipstick glides on very smoothly. UPGRADE!

I have shade 530 Burnished Bronze. I have had it forever and it is really severe on me. It is one of the darkest colors I have and it is kind of drying.

I got my 04 color on sale.
This is a great lipstick - at first it looks very dark, but once I apply it it gets sheer and just tones the lips.
I find it beautiful and moisturizing!

I have one of these lovely Body Shop Lipsticks in Dusk Pink. It's a really gorgeous peachy nude pale pink that flatters my golden, light beige skintone. Provides the perfect amount of colour that applies smoothly and evenly. It has the right amount of shine to it - not too glossy, yet it's not matte. It's not all that moisturising, but that's ok because I always apply lip balm underneath. It lasts a long time and doesn't wear out while drinking. Dusk Pink is a great peachy nude that contrasts nicely with a deep, smoky eye look, but it works beautifully with any look to make lips appear naturally lovely.

This is the best lipstick I've tried! It doesn't make your lips dry , like other lipsticks do. Often they will give me horribles lines and make my lips smaller because they dried out after a while, but not with this lipstick!!

The Body Shop lipsticks are the best lipsticks I've found out there. I have dry lips, and these glide on without pulling/tugging and don't highlight cracks. They have a nice range of colors, and they're not that expensive. Also, they've updated the packaging to include snap tops, which means it won't come undone and melt all over your purse. I have a few different shades (natural pink, dark pink, and red) and I use one of them almost every day.
