I have fine wavy hair and this shampoo really weighs it down and doesnt seem to clean very well, i can really tell in bangs that their still not clean as with other shampoos.

In an effect to maintain the health of my bleached platinum blonde hair, I entirely cut out heat styling and shampoos. I rinse my hair in conditioner the majority of the time, and use a shampoo once a month just to clarify. Until now, I'd been using up the last of my Ice Shine shampoo (which does make my hair shiny), but it also strips it and I feel like it's way too strong for my non-oily hair. I used this today because I left my other shampoo upstairs, and my mom (who has curly hair) had left this sitting conveniently by the sink.

I actually really like it?? It was creamy, and lathered really well, and it definately cleaned my hair and scalp thoroughly... without stripping out the moisture like my other shampoo! With this, I may be able to shampoo more often (2-3x month) now without having to worry about my hair becoming a dry, dead, matted mess afterwards. I followed my shampoo with the Pantene Nature Fusion conditioner I've been using, and my hair was super soft and clean feeling after rinsing. I will definately purchase this shampoo, it's great and very gentle! Oh and I don't actually have curly hair, but it still worked awesome :)

I love this shampoo! It rinses clean but doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped, smells good, and isn't too expensive. I use it with the Pantene hydrating curls conditioner.

This product worked miracles on my dry, damaged wavy hair. I was in love with this product, it actually got rid of the frizzyness (is that even a word?) by my hairline! I used it for about two weeks when a rash developed all over my back, it only went away when I stopped using it. To be fair my skin gets ichy with any shampoo that is non-organic.

I have used this line in the past and I have really like the results. Although when I recently purchased and used it, it made my hair the most frizzy I've seen it. I'm not sure if they have changed anything in it since the last time, but I won't be using this again!!!! Although I do like the spray gel, so I may still use it.

I've also heard that this is one of the most drying hair care brands.

I have double processed (color treated and foiled highlights) naturally curly hair and it's pretty fried. This is the only shampoo (and conditioner) that controls my frizz, gives me beautifully shaped curls and makes it super soft without weighing it down. I'm so happy to have my healthy looking curls back instead of the frizzy mess it had become over the past few months.

First, let me say that I have VERY curly hair, and it is definitely prone to frizz. I only bought this because I am in college and there is no Aveda (my usual choice) around. However, I really like this stuff. It's supppperrrr cheap, which goes well with the budget of a college student haha. And I feel like it works as well as the Aveda Shampure stuff I was using. It has a nice smell to it--nothing too remarkable though. But it does make my hair soft, smooth, and shiny. Even though I have had chances to get Aveda stuff again, I haven't.

I have fine curly hair and this product is just awful. It weighs my hair down and makes it look terrible. The flip top is even poorly designed. I just threw it away.

I used this last summer and its not bad stuff. After using this and the matching conditioner for some time I definitely noticed my hair was less frizzy and my naturally super curly was under better control and soft!!!! I would use this again during the summer when I take my break from straightening my hair.

I have spent thousands on curly hair products, both drugstore, and high end, but now only use the Hydrating Curls shampoo and conditioner! I have thick, dry, coarse, unevenly wavy/curly hair, but this stuff makes such a huge difference!!! My hair feels so soft, and my curls are defined, and fluffy/bouncy! This line smells SO good too! Although, I went to the store tonight, and they have changed the packaging/name/ingredients some. I hope it still works like it used to, and I wish companies would stop changing their formulas all the time!

Hell NO, I will not be buying this again. I've used Pantene several times before, and I've never had good results with it. Pantene leaves my hair feeling and looking thin, unclean, and just generally nasty.

Bought this about a month ago....it was okay at first, nothing special but nothing worth complaining about either...UNTIL it started making my hair break off/fall out.

I have not changed anything else about my lifestyle that would cause my hair to fall out or break- no weight gain/loss, no stress, no change in my diet, no medications, no nothing. So I came to the conclusion it must be the shampoo.

I did a little research and found that a lot of people are having the same problem with Pantene products. Apparently they have a lot of harsh chemicals in them that can do major damage to hair.

I went to the store right away and bought new stuff. No more Pantene for me.

I have heard that Pantene products were bad for your hair, but I still love them. I find it hard to believe that something that makes my hair so soft, shiny, bouncy and managable could be bad for my hair. I love Pantene and will continue to use their products.

Maybe I believe the hype, but I really like Pantene Shampoos and Conditioners. I have very thick, wavy, and curly hair. It tends to poof and frizz all the time, but it looks professional when I use Pantene. I always feel like I am being treated to a special prize every time I use Pantene. It keeps my hair shiny, healthy, and less frizzy. I also use the other Pantene curling products to help define my curls better. I love the smell and it does a great job getting my hair clean. The shampoo alone softens my hair.

I don't know why that this is marketed at curls because it was so slippery and weighing on my hair that it did nothing for the curls. Also don't like the fact that every time this company changes their packaging they hike the price up and it is, afterall just a supermarket brand.

I really like this! I have fine hair that looks thick, plus it is naturally wavy. I'm not sure why this has so many bad reviews - I love it! It does not weigh down my hair and I have noticed no buildup from it. I let my hair airdry after I put mousse and spray gel in it. I love the results that I have gotten from this and the matching conditioner.

It works the first time you use it, then it overdries your hair and it makes it frizzy, hard to manage and with no shine, . Definitely not buying again.
