Gorgeous color! This is my most used OPI polish. It is such a unique color. Kind of hard to describe- it's like a creamy light grey/blue that can have a bit of a lavender tint in some lights. It has a soft but not too noticeable shimmer. Not glittery at all but more of a pearl finish. It makes my nails look so polished and it is such a versatile shade because it is fairly neutral. Usually I have to build this up to 3 coats for the desired opacity. Then the color really comes through, otherwise one or 2 coats will give you a transparent, pearly finish. I just prefer the look of several coats. Not the cheapest polish out there, I think I paid around $8.50 for it but it is so worth it! Rarely do I fall in love with a polish color so I often end up taking colors back but this one I will repurchase over and over again!

I bought this polish to do some nail art with. I haven't gotten around to the "art" portion, but I did take this color for a test run tonight. I was originally led to believe that this was a pale grey - it isn't. It's more of a very pale lilac or lavender with a nice pearly, shimmery kick. This shade is growing on me the longer I wear it and I agree with other reviewers that it is a nice alternative neutral. The formula itself is a bit on the runny side, but it's nothing that a few swipes with a corrective pen or cotton swab dipped in polish remover can't take care of. Overall, a great versatile color that I will wear again and again.

When I first bought this, I expected it to be a soft grey creme color, but as soon as you put it on, you can tell it has a distinct pinkish lilac hue to it - I would say it's more lilac than grey! (Almost like a really pale desaturated soft shell color) That said, the color itself is actually lovely. It's a very muted and subtle color, much more natural-looking than you might think and easily work-appropriate. It does lean on the sheer side so if you're looking for a good opaque gray polish this is not for you. It has a tiny bit of very fine shimmer if you look closely; I doubt it'd be noticeable to anyone but yourself, but it is still a nice touch. I would never have bought this knowing it was pale lilac (I tend to stick to vampier colors) but it ended up being one of my favorite neutrals in my polish wardrobe. I definitely recommend it :)

When I first picked it out, I thought it was going to be a nice soft gray. As it turns out, it's a lot less pigmented on the nail than in the bottle. That's why I gave it 4/5. However, I really loved the color! I think it's a great alternative to the light pink polishes when going for a natural look.

I really do love this polish. I love the light grey color and the VERY subtle shimmer.OFr me 2 coats creates a more sheer coat and 3 coats is opaque. I wear it both ways. The only complaint I have is that it is a little bit streaky.

AUSTRALIAN REVIEWER: In the bottle this looks like a really promising colour. But really disappointed in how translucent this polish is, especially when i asked the sales assistant for a solid grey and this is all that she could come up with in the entire range.
It's more a murky, lavender tinged, pearl colour and is not opaque at all, even with another coat, it isn't opaque and with a third coat it is really likely to peel and chip off (even with a light base coat). Disappointed overall, BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR a translucent polish with a touch of purple (cool toned) then this is probably going to be great for you.

It's a very nice color, it's just a shame that the formula is a bit to runny- quite unmanagable. It would have been perfect for a fresh and polished manicure

Arggh! What a streaky polish, two coats and I still feel that it wouldn't hurt having a third one. I'm giving up on colors in this range, they are too hard for me to wear.

I don't own this polish but would love to purchase it.
It was the very first opi I ever wore. It is a bland color but I love the subtle color of it. a sheer grey/white. The lasting power was incredible and the application was very smooth. The removal of the polish was also very easy

This color is very unique. It a mily silver color. Nice for everyday.
The color is very sheer it takes at least 3 coasts to get the color opaque, but it dries fast.
Love this color, got a lot of compliments. I think it would look better on people with warmer undertones. Definately will purchase again.

I had hoped this one would be less sheer. It's also hard to apply. I do not like it; it does not compliment my cool skin tone at all. Quest for a nice off-white opaque nail polish continues. This one is up for swap!

I don't have many light shades of polish, and this one seemed interesting to me because it wasn't an average "clean" shade. It really does have a luminous moon color. Not too gray or white. I haven't applied it yet, but I hope it's not one of those that takes 2 or 3 coats and goes all streaky. Update: It takes a lot of coats, and I don't think it dries very hard. It dries more softly than some polishes, which causes nicks in the coat.

It took me a while to like this colour on me. It takes at least 3 coats to be opaque which causes some problems if you don't have a good base coat and quick dry top coat combo. However, once I mastered it, I decided that I really like it. On me it's a dove grey with a lavender cast. Very milky and pretty.

this color needed too many coats in order for me to not see VNL. a bit streaky as the brush was kind of wonky. opi's are kind of meh for me as there are other brands with better colors and nicer formulation. this color is similar to essie great expectations & as i have both and the essie applied better, i swapped MOM away.

I think this polish is very versatile. With just one code it's perfect for everyday and gives the nails a nice, clean look with just a bit of a shine. With several codes it turns into a nice intense, yet subtle colour that is perfect for a mature, professional look.
I like it a lot. It dries pretty quickly and stays on very well. My first OPI polish and it was defenitely worth spending 13 Euros on it.

I LOVE THIS NP! It is great for an everyday nail. I looks super edgy and modern but still very very girly. You will have to layer on coats of it in order to have a true to colour from bottle to nails but its worth it. Its OPI so it lasts for days! Use a top coat to protect this as it can be time consuming to put it on so you'll want to perserve the colour for as long as possible. It is one of those colours that looks better on when your nails are a bit longer...no stubbies!

I really like this particular color. On me, it is a milky white/silver. It does take a few coats to get the true color, but once you have that accomplished you will like the color. OPI is still expensive ($8.50 + tax in ULTA), but I am willing to pay it, if the product works.

I love this color. It's a faintly shimmery light gray color. Beautiful. The only thing I don't like is how sheer it is. It takes at least three coats to look similar to the bottle. I think it really does look moon-like. So far one of my favorite light shades.

I like Moon Over Mumbai. It's very pretty soft grey color. However, I do wish the color a little bit more opaque when I apply the first coat. So, two coats will be perfect. It's very Indian as it's from the Indian Collection in 2006. I watched a beauty pageant once and it reminds me of Miss India who worn a grey evening gown. She looked gorgeous. That's why this color reminds me of India. It's very pretty. As I have said, I rather have a thicker coat then a thin coat so can bring out the color a bit more. I will buy this color again if it's cheap.

I got excited when I saw this one at Ulta because it is the most beautiful light gray color. As others have said... it is disappointingly sheer. After three thick coats, however, it is beautiful. It's one of those colors that strikes a great balance between being a really fun, different shade without being too over the top.
