I love this product! I have been using the original Lash Injection for over a year now (off and on) and really like it. This version looks clownish in the tube/on the wand, which had put me off trying it for some while. When I finally got around to it, I fell in love! As others have said, it dries to a much darker shade than in the tube, and is only noticeable in very intense lighting. It makes my green eyes really pop, but not so much that others will know exactly why they look brighter, just that they do. The brush applies phenominally, no clumps (unless I mess up, not the brush), and comes off super-easy without any staining undereye!
The reasons I couldn't give five lippies: the huge tube tends to lend itself to dried out product very quickly, and the price ($19.50US) is a little steep, for me, to continually replace blue mascara every few weeks. If it was my HG black mascara (Chanel Inimitable), it'd be a different story, but for a blue mascara I do not wear every single day, I just don't see it happening.

My SO bought me this mascara after seeing it on a gorgeous African-American Sephora SA. I'm so pale that the sun reflects off my face but, this mascara complements both of our skin and eye colors!
I love that this mascara makes my lashes look longer without pesky primers or fibers. It lasts all day without smudging, and withstood tears of joy after my BFF cancer results came back clear.
I also love that it brightens my eyes and enhances my blue eye color, making it almost appear aqua. I love to use this with minimal eye and face color, for a fresh bright work face that doesn't go over the top, but still reflects my personality.
I would definitely buy this mascara again. The only reason I hesitated to give it a full 5 star rating was that i fear the oversized tube will dry out before its 3 month expiration date.
I would happily give this mascara a 5 star rating if they made it in the smaller tubes, like the regular black version and said tubes were recyclable.

So great! When I wear this, I always get compliments! It doesn't look like blue mascara from far, just makes your eyes look bright and fabulous. I even use it during the day, with lighter application. Great with a dark blue eyeliner to bring out the color in your eyes. Perfect wand too -- deposits just enough.

I've flirted with blue mascaras many times before. I have blue eyes that are getting increasingly flat and dull as I reach the 'something' part of twenty-something (not enough sleep, stress, not enough water, working in air conditioning... if it can zap the life out of your peepers, I'm currently experiencing it) and I'm always looking for quick little fake-its. Benefit Bad Gal Blue was a huge smudgy disappointment, Diorshow in Azure Blue was identical to brushing MAC's Blue Peep fluidline on my lashes, and Max Factor's Lash Perfection in Deep Blue didn't even come to the party. I feel that's enough market research, now to list my one success thus far!
Lash Injection Vivid Blue is the same formula and texture as the original black Lash Injection, but tinted blue rather than flat black. At first the wet mascara is electric 80's blue but as it dries it darkens to a rich midnight indigo blue. I wear it to give some snap and sparkle to my blue eyes and the midnight tint is strong enough that it's not obvious that I'm wearing blue mascara. It only becomes intense when I'm directly under strong lighting or I'm in the sun. It has enough opacity and depth to not look ashy or flat when worn with black eyeliner.
If you're after a blue mascara that's going to stay electric blue on your lashes I'd skip this one, but if you want to emphasise the colour of your eyes without being obvious this is a good blue mascara to try.
Lash Injection retails for US$19.50 from Sephora, or AU$35 from Kit Cosmetics.
