I signed up for this website to write the review for this blush. That must say something about this product. I am NC 40 - 42(summer). and i LOVE THIS BLUSH. Like everyone said, you need very little of this blush and it works its magic. I wear a lot of make up but at work i do minimal. But this blush works with both - lot or little makeup. its so beautiful and works great for all skin types. My mother and i love this blush - she is 55 and i am 28 :)
if you can - please buy it - i definitly will but dont i will finish the pan i already own..lolll
tricks - use gold or silver highlights to make it warm or cool tone
if you conture your face - the blush looks even better on you
i have also used it as a summer eyeshadow ;) works great!
Enjoy!
C

Found this at a CCO for $12.75! Was I the happiest person alive at that moment? I think yes lol It's true that when you swatch it, it seems insanely dark but with the right brush and the right amount with a light hand this looks gorgeous! Really, just lightly brush it on and it gives you a nice rosy flush. It's true that it may not be the most practical blush considering you have to pay close attention, but trust me it's worth it! x

To the reviewer below who said Pale people shouldnt complain about this being too dark, well I am NC30 and I still think this blush is much too dark for me. I have tried different ways of applying it but no matter what, this colour is just too much for me. I imagine it would be awesome for NC40+ women. I apply the tiniest swipe of this and it still manages to look somewhat clownish. I don't really like the colour either its like a reddish pink and it emphasises any ruddiness in my cheeks, which im trying to avoid with foundation. Up for swap this goes!

I just received this yesterday and it's been discontinued so I got it at www.allcosmeticswholesale.com.This shade is, like the previous poster stated, extremely pigmented so a light touch is really all that's required! The shade is AMAZING! It's a deep tomato-red but once you blend it in properly, it gives me that flushed "just been jogging" look (and I do NOT jog!) LOL
If you can still get this, then by all means, rush to it. It's a lovely shade on African-American women, which is what I am.

I lusted after this blush from the moment it came out but refused to buy it since I own so many blushes. The only way was to swap for it and someone finally agreed to swap it with me! On darker skin tones (I am NW45) this is so beautiful. A gorgeous warm pinky red with no visible shimmer. I love it. It is very pigmented so easy does it on the appliction!

I got this at my CCO for like, $10 and it is so worth it. I'm a PPP, green eyes and dark blonde hair for ref. and I can definitely make this work for me.
It can look ruddy if applied to heavily, but this is a great shimmery maroon blush that looks like you're a little sunburned and a little windswept when applied. I love to pair this with gold strike pigment, but if you didn't have that one (it's LE) improper copper with mulch or shale and trax would work well with this. Plums, golds, and bronzey browns pair amazing with this.
Great find!

LOVE IT. Perfect not obvious blush color. Wears well with plums, blues, browns and grays on eyes. Use a light hand for day or darken it up for evening. Beware if you like this color you need to hunt it down now. Spoke with M.A.C. live chat when couldn't order it online and found out it is discontinued but not yet on "goodbyes". Ambering Rose is the next suitable replacement. If your looking to save $ NYX makes some great blushes, they are cheap enough that you can buy 4 for the price of one M.A.C. blush.

Serenely is a pretty lovely color which i got when it was launched here. I got it swatch at the back of my hand at MAC counter and had thought it was lovely but when i got it home, i reconsider my option and thought that it would be abit dark to work on me, I'm NC20 for reference. So i had come here to read reviews a few times even though there doesn't seem to be new reviews anymore on this lol but i just came back to gain some confidence before using it. Yeah it's silly but then again....i was really afraid of looking like a clown and that i had always had deep fond for red blush...anyway, it really look lovely in the pan and today, i had the courage to try this. Using MAC 188, i apply this lightly, brushing on more when necessary, seriously, i think i love BP more than their any LE blush or normal range blush. It is seriously not that heavy pigmented but still it can be build on slowly. I just love this look on me, making me blush naturally, like i'm out in the sun for the whole day. It's brown-red on me, nothing too loud or bright, just a flush of color, of course don't overdo this but with a skunk brush, i don't think one could. I love blush that gives me a blush that comes from within instead of siting on top of my face, i think BP has definitely done that for me. I didn't regret getting this but i do regret not getting all the BP as the collection is already over but i think Nordstrom still have it....i would definitely get this and other colors, if MAC decide to repromote them. Just to add this, it's really long-lasting on me but then again, MAC blush has always been long-lasting on me...it's a gem to keep!

Serenely is such a gorgeous cinnamon-red shade with tiny silvery-gold (can't tell, but they're there!) sparkles! :) On my NC25/LM Sunny Beige skin it looks as if I had been sitting next to a warm fire and my cheeks had turned that warm, rosy-brown shade which I abso. love! So glow-y!
With this blush, I only needed to swipe my brush once to get colour, twice if I wanted it brighter as this is VERY pigmented. I found this similar to MAC's Variety blush (also LE) but not as reddish, though they give the same effect. It is a bit on the deeper-blush-shade side so if you have pale skin/are more pale than me, use a light hand and know that this blush might make you look "clownish" (insert rant here: I don't understand why people complain that a blush is too dark for their NC0 (yes I made that shade up ;P) skin when they KNOW it's going to be dark and then give it a bad review...."it's too dark!" no duh) :(
It's pretty long-lasting. I have had it on since 730am, it is now 3pm which is awesome because I have combo skin (mostly oily) and most products just disappear on me after 2 hours.
Anyway, awesome product that is def. one of my faves from the BPB line!

Well, for starters I'm paler than NC15, so this was just a bad idea, but it looked so pretty and I do have a 187... sadly, even applying it with a very light hand using the skunk brush I got clown face with Serenely. Mind you it is still quite sheer and it blended out very smoothly, just too dark for my face. It showed up more rosy than brown-red on me, though, and although there was a slight sheen to my cheeks, there was no gold pearl that I could see.
