I picked this up for $1 when it was on clearance. They only had metallic shades left, so I picked up a silver one. I thought it was a really nice idea to be able to click and use the nail polish. But it leaves your nails super streaky. It does dry fast, but it leaves your nail super streaky. I wanted to love this product and buy many more, but I glad that I only bought it for $1. Not worth the $8 retail price tag!!

Application is easy but the colors come out looking just wrong and streaky and do not last. I got 3 of these for .75 cents each because they were on clearance. I can see why.

Meh... it's a cool concept, and when I first used it, I thought it was fantastic. Super easy to use, it took one coat, dried super quickly, it was a neat job, no polish all over my cuticles and fingers. I loved it! But I woke up this morning and something happened... my nails look super streaky? It's chipped all over the place, and it honestly looks like I took a permanent marker and colored my nails in. I'm glad I picked this up for $1.00 at my local Big Lots. I would have been pissed if I paid anything more for it.

I found some of the colors on clearance at my drugstore (Walgreens) so I picked up a couple. The same thing happened with each one--the first time I used it, it worked GREAT! I was in love. Super easy to hold, the color came out in just the right amount, the formula was very nice--no streaking and one coat looked really nice (although I went ahead and did a second coat) and I swear it did not chip off my toes for two weeks.
However, each subsequent use got crappier and crappier. The brush clogged, it was streaky...basically everything above was opposite. So I was glad I hadn't invested too much in them. If I find some more for dirt cheap I might grab one, even if I'd only use it once. But no way would I purchase at full price.

I picked up this nail pen in Red Chrome at 75% off to try it, which is a good thing because I probably would have been more disappointed had I paid full price. Its a good concept, but the execution of this product is not without its flaws. The color was not a bright shiny red as I'd expected, but actually went on as a frosty metallic rose color, more mauve than red. It was still a quite beautiful color, but the product clumps and dries on the brush applicator of the pen, leaving brushstrokes in the polish that are unsightly and difficult to correct. That was my biggest problem with it, so I would probably not buy again.

This was a very interesting concept and I bought this at Big Lots. I love the colors- I got all four metallics, and they do go on very quickly and easily, which is awesome. My only advice here is to be very careful when applying the top coat, because apparently these nailcolors can be easily scratched and messed up from the brush of the top coat. These do chip quite easily, so they're not the best quality-wise. However, they're really cheap, so that makes up for it.

This product is definitely worth the money or at least for how much I paid for it ($1 for each pen). I saw the chrome series at my local Dollar Tree and decided to try it out. They had several colors available but I only got two, in case they turned out not to be any good. My only complaint would be the brush is kinda big for my finger nails but other then that it's fine. Packaging is nice, nail polish flows out with just a few clicks and goes on smoothly, no globs or streaking for me. Dried in about a minute, great if you're on the run. Don't know how long it'll last but for the price and how long it took me to apply, not really too concerned.

This pen does dry very quickly. And I love the idea of the pen. You don't get globs of the stuff coming out or drips. But it chips very quickly and easily. So...very good for a fast manicure, but don't expect it to last.

You have to "go into" this product with the right expectation: to use it as a last-minute touch-up or polish, not as a replacement for a pedicure. It's super easy to use, dries quickly, and doesn't drip all over the place. I bought the Sand Shimmer color, and it looks great on my toes! I love this stuff! I will continue to use it for when I don't have a pedicure. It's wonderful, and the best part is, no spilling the bottle, because there IS none!

Ewww... I am not a nailpolish snob, but this stuff takes forever to dry on me and rubs off so easily. This was so disappointing because application was super easy. The colors I did buy came out nicely though, even though they were lighter than they were advertised. Not buying again.

Came across this product at Dollarama and thought I would give it a try, since it was only $2. This product is amazing, no mess, easy to apply and the colour is great. I was so anxious to try it on that I forgot it apply a bottom coat but glad to find out that it didn't stain my nails. That was a relief as the colour I bought is Midnight (dark blue), I liked it so much that I went back the next day and bought an extra Midnight and an Orange colour. The only con I have is that it takes a while to dry.. not quick at all.

Terrible. Dont buy it. The brush is too wide and soft, impossible to control and the polish isn't thick enough. Its a total gimmick

I'm not a nail person, but this stuff was $5 at walgreens! AMAZING! i can never get my right hand painted nicely (im a righty) with regular polish. it's always messy. This stuff doesn't stink like regular polish goes on so easily and quickly. 5 minute mani! hell yeah! i love this stuff. dries super quickly! easy touch ups on the go. didn't streak at all.

i was really excited to try this out because i saw that it recently came out with a chrome series. i had been looking all over for sally hansens chrome nail polish but couldnt find it anywhere. so i was really happy when i saw this product. so after buying it i immediately tried it out. let me just say its a really great idea but the way that the pens made is horrible. the brush tip is really coarse and junk and made streaks while i was painting it on my nails. and whats worse that once i painted it on i couldn't do anything about it because the color dries quickly. i will say though that the nails that came out pretty decent the color was really nice on them, the rest just looked crappy and messy. so the only reason i would ever buy it again would be for the awesome chrome color.

I bought this Nail Pen in the normal red color, for touch ups, because red is the color i'm always wearing.
But when I tried to paint all of my nails with this pen, it didn't work out too well. It worked fine for the first few uses, until the brush got really difficult to work with, and left my nails streaky and unattractive. It's not worth the regular $8 CDN, I got mine on sale for $3, thank goodness. Even for touch ups, it was really hard to get used to. I LOVE the concept of nail pens, but if SH changed the brush, they'd have the best product. The paint distibution was really awkward, when I would push the button, sometimes it felt like none came out, and other times, huge blobs. I wouldn't recommend this for painting all of your nails, althought for the first use, I did end up painting all my nails with this while sitting in class :P

Junk. Gives the same finish the Chrome nail polish series did. Looks ok for first few hours then starts wearing off unevenly leaving you with streaky ugly nails. A good idea but trying to morph nail polish into a magic marker just doesn' work.

I did like this product a lot, even though I had a few problems with it. The colors to choose from are great- they have a line of chrome colors that Sally Hansen used to have in a regular bottle but had discontinued. The brush is pretty big and its a little awkward to get the hang of applying it at first. Figuring out how many times to click for the correct amount of polish is a bit of a trail & error process. I found it easy to apply even with the brush size- It was easy to get a grip on the pen, much easier than holding and dipping and worrying about drips from a regular bottle. The polish dried VERY quickly so applying a 2nd coat & top coat was a quick process. Less than 24 hours later I had a few small chips at the tips, but touch-ups were super easy and blended very smoothly thanks to the brush. I wonder if a non-chrome color would chip less. I will probably buy this again, even though its a little pricey for about 1/2 the polish in a regular bottle because its easy to keep in my bag for touch ups on the go.

The brush is splayed and crappy. The polish comes out unpredictably. It doesn't dry that quickly. The polish doesn't go on evenly or have a very shiny finish.. And it's expensive. That being said, it has really good staying power, and polish doesn't stay on my fingers for more than 24 hours usually. Also, gripping a pen feels easier. If they could fix the brush and how the polish comes out, this would be a pretty good product. But as it stands, I think I'll just stick to regular bottles.

For lack of a better word, it sucks.
It's way too expensive for such little product ( 9$ for 5 ml, the hell?) and it doesn't dispense properly. Mine was on sale for 2 bucks. Good thing it was or I would have been pissed.
BUT! The chrome colors are really pretty, I got gold and it's quite tubular! They should put the colors in regular nail polish bottles, that would solve everything!
Oh yeah, avoid this.
