This stuff would have been HG, had it not been for the price. This stuff is so darn expensive that I honestly wouldnt repurchase.
As the product goes, its amazing! It gives a lot of lift and volume and thats a lot to say because I have tried many products with no results. If you can afford this tiny bottle, buy it. again. and again. its wow.
One lippie off for the price. and the smell might offend some. It smells like lemons.

Holy crap does this stuff smell. My husband bought this by mistake on an emergency supply run when we were traveling. I needed hairspray; he needed a tie. It isn't hairspray, but it held my bobby pins in through the wedding reception. I don't have fine hair so I can't speak to its efficacy as a root litter for fine hair. Tried it as a setting lotion: epic fail. I've tried to take my operator error into account with my ratings, but dear God the smell. I don't have a particularly strong sense of smell, but the "salon" scent is really aggressive. I tried it as a setting lotion ten hours ago, and it is still so strong. Ick.

Best volumizer for fine, color-trated hair. Never fails to deliver body and volume

This product is very deceiving, when I first used it I felt like it didn't do much and it performed similarly to the Big Sexy Hair Root Pump. However, after using this for 3 weeks, I find that it is a much better product than the Root Pump. First of all, this volumizing product is a light mist and doesn't leave gunk in my hair like the Root Pump does. I also love the smell and how easy it is to use. I can just spray this in my hair, comb it through, blow dry, and BAM instant lift. I got lazy one day and used no products in my hair and I realized what a huge difference the Supreme Lift makes on my hair. Without this product, my hair is limp and flat and I am unwilling to ever go without it again!

As someone who's tried many different volumizing sprays/mousses/foams from big sexy to tresemme, alberto, got 2 b, dove (many many! LOL) this one's pretty good, not a miracle product but has worked better than anything i've been trying so far. I like that it's a spray so it doesn't build up in your hair. It's not sticky, but I find that you shouldnt spray it too close to the hair and dont spray too much or you ill get build up.

It also workes better if you blow dry section by section with a roundbrush, and the smell is great too!

So, although this product isn't super amazing, I would buy it again if I dont find anything better. and it sure works ten times better than big sexy hair!

The first product to prompt me to write a review. I have very long, very fine hair that 2 weeks after a trim always looks hideously limp and lifeless.

Until I tried Supreme Lift. I have been using this for a couple of weeks after finding it on the clearance rack at Ulta, and it's amazing. I have mega volume now, to the point where people are commenting on how awesome my hair looks. I've tried the Aveda line, the Bed Head stuff - which was ok when my hair was short - but this product has just blown me away. I'll be stocking up!

I keep rebuying this so it's definitely a grail hair product. 4-5 spritzes at my roots and I get lots of body for a couple of days. Careful not to use too much or hair will feel a tad dry.

This product is actually pretty great for something you can buy at a drugstore for around $8-$9bucks. It is a liquid that you spray into roots and then blow dry. It gave me nice volume and shiny manageable hair without any stiffness, stickiness or flaking. I didn't experience any build-up but I will update if I do. Not "va va voom" volume but still pretty big hair. Great price and nice product. Will buy again.

Great product!! It gives me wonderful volume and it isn't sticky. Will buy again! Cute package! Only complaint is the value. The bottle could be a bit bigger for the price.

This is AMAZING!! I've been looking for a product like for a long time and I used it today for the first time and my hair has so much volume!! :) It's a bit pricey at $11.99 CDN but totally worth it!

Love this spritzed over Style Primer (lightly). Gives enormous, amazing, stay all day volume on my roots. Again, as with the Primer, less is more. Love her no fuss packaging. Bottles are easy to hold, product dispenses easily. They are not aerosol, so if they gum up you can take apart and clean to unclog. Absolutely the best volumizing product I have ever used (and I'm almost at the point of renting another apartment for all my products!!) If you have thinning, fine limp hair, you MUST GET THIS!! Just don't use too much or you'll get clumpy, gummy hair. Use just the right amount and you get tons of volume, moderate shine and total manageability. THANK YOU SALLY!! I think I might stock up, it's so good, I'm nervous they may change it or discontinue it and now I can't go back to what I was using. UPDATE: Built up after one day, horrible, horrible, horrible, like I ran lard through my hair. It's going back. Worst EVER!!

#10 review and still 100%. Yes, I love this stuff now. I had actually bought it before, used it once and went back to Phyto. But the other day, I tried it again and totally loved it. My hair is still feeling thicker even today and I did not even use it. My only complaint is the gold lettering with the pink packaging, really Sally?? :) But, yes I would buy this again in a heartbeat and will tomorrow at Ulta.

don't be afraid to spray liberally...with blowdrying..the "wet-product" feel will go away and you'll be left with wonderful volume...

I have short, fine hair that is cut in a way that looks stupid without some major volume on top. This is my secret weapon for attaining it. It is without a doubt the best volumizing product I have used, and I have tried a ton. It feels stiff when you spray it on your damp hair but once your hair is dry it doesn't. The lift lasts all day. It is like $12 for a decent sized bottle at Walgreens. (I think they carry it at Ulta now too.)

I really like this product which is quite a shock for me because I don't use drugstore products on my hair as a rule. Works better as a volumizer than many much more expensive brands - and I've tried pretty much all of them (Rusk, Joico, Redken, Kerastase, etc). For now, this will be my HG. I'm really glad it's now available in Canada at Shoppers.
Edit to add: This does build up quite a lot after a couple of weeks of use... I had to use a clarifying shampoo to get rid of it.

WOW. If I could leave a review just like that, with a single word - WOW - I would, but I have to explain. I am so taken aback by the results of this product that I'm left wondering if any of the volumizers I've tried have actually done anything, or if I was desperately imagining that they worked.

I'm unaccustomed to a lot of product in my hair. Typically I just use a small amount of MoroccanOil or FF Glossing Cream, and that's just at the ends. So spraying this liberally, as the product suggests on the bottle, was a little difficult for me - I felt like I had all this muck in my hair, at my roots. And when I started to blowdry, it was even worse - it felt like I had sprayed my wet hair with hairspray and THEN tried to blow it dry. But as my hair began to dry, there it was - WOW. My hair was HUGE. For reference, my hair is thick, long, and hard to volumize. Even backcombing sometimes falls flat for me. Talk about a product that delivers! At about $12 CDN, it's not a bad price at all for something that actually works, far better than expensive salon varieties.

Some time last year I started to crave more height/volume in my hair. I think I read about this product in a magazine and bought it on a whim. My hair is fairly thick and heavy and is resistant to retaining volume. Even when I backcomb with hairspray it sometimes falls flat. After purchasing Supreme Lift I used it the next time after I took a shower, as it is to be applied to damp hair, and blow-dried my hair as usual. To my surprise I had nice volume where I sprayed the product that didn't deflate shortly after!!! And no backcombing necessary. It was love.
It has taken me a few months to use a whole bottle and I'm currently without. And I can definitely see a difference now that I haven't used it in awhile. I need to take a trip to Walgreens immediately even though it's an hour out of the way from my house. Must have Supreme Lift....

I am loving this Sally Hershberger line! I use Supreme Lift on top of the Style Primer, and the two work very well together. The Lift has made a significant difference in the volume my hair has, and it's much more fun to style since it will actually take some shape after using this product. I really like that it adds volume without a sticky or greasy feeling, even at the end of the day. I deducted 1 lippie because of the relatively high price for a DS product, and also for the packaging. The bottle is bright pink with gold writing, and the writing is very difficult to read against that background. But it's worth every penny. I've thrown away so many products that cost at least this much or more because they produced no results.

I used this product this morning and I was really impressed. My hair used to be really thick, but over the years it has gotten thinner, and this stuff really gave it the oopmh I was looking for. My hair not only looks thicker and has more volume, it feels thicker, too. I used it with the volumizing shampoo b/c it was buy one, get one 50% off at Walgreens.

I think it does exactly what it says: plumps hair at the root. I have slippery, flyaway hair and am always looking for texture/volume. The marketing says "lift like you've never seen before" - ok, it's not a miracle. But it's better than the recent root lifters I've tried (Rusk, Garnier, Pantene, Nexxus). The results seem to last most of the day, too. I think it was about $13 at Walgreens? Not cheap, but worth it for what it does. The cap falls off whenever it's in my gym bag, but the photo online shows better packaging - so maybe they've changed this, now.
