The old conditioner (4 stars), which had silicone sort of ingredients in it, was far superior in de-tangling and softening to the "new and improved" one (2 stars, as it doesn't do any harm, but doesn't wow either). Bottle is still a little tricky to get product out of.

I'm normally a user of B&B thickening conditioner, but on one of my trips, I forgot to bring it along, and instead picked this up from the airport (supposedly "natural", decent brand name...how bad could it be?). I ended up being well impressed by this product. It detangles like pretty much nothing else I've used. The runny consistency is off-putting at first, but actually makes it easier to finger-comb through wet hair than B&B, and my fine hair dries knot/tangle free, to the extent that I can get away without combing it at all! Works for me... I now alternate this with my B&B conditioner.

I agree with other reviewers who've said L'Occitane's "essential oil" conditioners are a bit of a gimmick. I bought this because I like the scent and the quality is about what I expected: decent but nothing special. It "moisurizes" very well for a condish marketed for normal hair, but I think the so-called moisture is just its high silicone content. The second and third ingredients in this conditioner are silicones, which is both good and bad. Good because this kept my frizz at bay on two hot, humid days recently. Bad because, after only two uses, the build-up on my hair is palpable. I hardly want to have to clarify every third shampoo. Also, the consistency is runny and you have to use a lot. Still, I'm sure I'll find myself using this up through the humid summer days ahead.

Nice conditioner. I use it in conjunction with the Olive Shampoo because the SA recommended it. Amazing, beautiful smell--I get almost *too* many complements on my hair's scent because of this stuff. Very light and thin in consistency, but you can definitely feel the effects upon rinsing it out. Moisturizing on my dry ends, leaves my hair swishy and not grease-clumped. $14, which, compared to Bumble and Bumble is a steal. Too bad I freaking hate this bottle (cheap-feeling fragile tiny flip-top) or it would be near perfect.

I love this conditioner. It reduces frizz, increases shine, and doesn't make my hair greasy-looking. The smell is fantastic and a little goes a long way.

I have coarse, naturally curly hair, and this conditioner moisturized and softened. I didn't need to use much either. Excellent!

I love the scent... it is so refreshing and clean! It also does a good job of making my hair soft and managable... but the thing that makes this stand out so well is defn. the scent!! The packaging is kind of annoying, but I still love it!
