hh another devine Beauty Powder Blush from MAC. I agree with other reviews that this formulation of beauty powder blushers are better than the permanent line I think these blushes are even better than their original blushes, much softer, and far more pigmented, . They leave a lovely velvety finish and are not too heavy on the shimmers. Joyous is a peachy pink I love the texture and the quality of this, I know this is discontinued and can still be found at CCOs. If one has a hard time finding this, MUFE beauty powder blush in no 22 is a very close dupe for this. I'd buy this again.

This color was so pink. I'm more into bronzers and darker colors.
This was def way too pink for me. I'm a NC40 .

I love this blush so it's about time I say so. I've been using this for months daily and the pan looks brand new. For reference I wear NC35. I never bother looking at any blush that looks orange or coral in any way. I hate looking orange! For some strange reason this was the first thing I picked up at the CCO that day. It gives the most beautiful glow ever! I never look orange and the color payoff is great. I've also used this on my niece who wears NW43 and my bff who wears NC25-30 and they love it. I use very little product and apply with a stippling brush. All time favorite blush!

This blush gives an impossibly fresh and pretty peaches-and-cream glow to my NW15 skin. I figured this would be too orange for my very cool skin, but it's just a gorgeous soft yet buildable coral. Luxuriously finely milled and highly pigmented, it glides on smoothly, evenly, and "air-brushed." Definitely my favorite of the BPB's.

I was kinda hesitant to buy it at first because it looks to bright on the pan. I was in a hurry so i just bought it without trying it on. I thought i made a mistake when i purchased it but heck no! It's such a pretty blush. I love how it gives me the flushed cheeks look. This is my fave mac blush. I like the texture and finish. A keeper!

I didn't buy this when I first saw the beauty powder blushes because it looked way to bright in the pan. I thought it would come out a "smacked in the face" coral color. I'm glad I gave this a second try because it's a gorgeous pinky-coral with shimmer that makes my face look so alive and radiant! I have to use a light hand in the winter when my skin is pale, but with a tan in the summer it is sooo perfect! It's HTF right now, so if you do get your hands on it, it's a keeper!

This is sucha pretty blush! I never usually wear blushes because I rely on my Light Flush MSF to do the job, but Joyous caught my eye when I went to the CCO. I was a little hesitant to see how reddish coral it looked in the pan, but still took it since all the other women around me seemed to be very interested in this, haha. Anyways, after one swipe of blush using my 129 on each cheek, I've fallen in love with it. Joyous is not at all red, but a light coral on my NC30 skin. It lasted me throughout the whole day and still looks great! It looks even more fabulous after highlighting my cheeks with an MSF... it's so pretty and natural-looking.

I slept on the beauty powder blushes when they were originally released in March 2008. I'm sorry that I did. But luckily, I was able to pick this up at a CCO. I have been looking for a nice peachy/coral blush that looks good on my DDD skin tone (MAC NC50/MUFE HD 178). Anyway, this was a great buy - it looks wonderful on me. I like the fact that while it is pigmented, it is buildable. This color leaves me with a nice glow. Since Joyous was limited edition, I will be back at the CCO this weekend to buy a back up (or two..).

So far the beauty powder blushes are my favourite MAC release of 2008. To be honest, I wasn't all that interested in buying any of them when they were first released but eventually I got caught up in the beauty powder frenzy and ended up buying 3 of them. I must say I totally love their silky smooth feel and they are nicely pigmented too! Plus it imparts a subtle glow. I'm reviewing Joyous which is a very pretty coral peach shade on my GGG skin. I do tend to prefer warm toned blushes, like this one. I feel these blushes are even better then MAC's regular powder blushes. Great job MAC!

I really like joyous. It's a bright pinky coral peach in the pan, but on my NC15-NC25 skin, it doesnt look garish. The texture is soft, with little shimmer. Great for a luminous look ! Edit : i have to say, no matter how little or how much i apply, it doesnt stay all day on me.

When the MAC MA picked this out for me to try, I immediately thought "too bright." I'm an NC25, for reference. But when swatched on me, I really liked it. I have always used a soft pink for blush, so I was hesitant to buy this. But I decided to try something different. And I'm so glad I did! You definitely look like a clown if you use too much. Throughout this spring and summer, it was my favorite blush. I used it almost daily. It is a coral color. It gave me a great glow, with my blonde hair and hazel eyes. I also wish it wasn't LE since I love it so much.

i am such an outcast when it comes to the beauty powders, i hate the colours, the texture and the harshness of the product even when applied with the skunk brush. maybe theyd look better on someone with darker skin ( im nc25- 30) as this didnt suit me at all.

HG,HG....This is a beautiful coral color. It does look bright in the pan but it is so perfect for a summertime "pop" of color on the apple of the cheeks. This is my HG summer blush by far. It looks excellent over bronzer as well. Love....a must try for the summertime!

I don't see this color as a peachy pink as others have said. In my head, I think this is the perfect peach. I can kinda see coral in it, but really this color is perfect for warming up my face and I can pair it with all kinds of cool eyeshadows of different colors. Blue lined, purples, teals, any sort of bright color, even MAC's Honey Lust (a bronzed peach). This color is ideal for summer. You do have to apply with a light hand or skunk brush or you end up looking like a clown. I think MAC's best.

I love peachy/coral blushes after I bought Hipness from the fafi collection. Since I was using Hipness as my everyday blush, I was afraid I'd run out so I went to MAC and was looking for a Joyous since I saw online that a lot of people said Joyous was same as Hipness but with more glitter. My opinion of this is that it a very accurate comparison except for the fact that Joyous is a very fine powder and is very easy to "over apply"? so you really need to be light on the application to avoid looking too made up. Other than that, the color is beautiful and it's highly recommended.

This beauty powder blush has great ratings and I can totally see why! A beautiful coral/watermelon colour in its pan, and really makes my cheeks pop with its beautiful, glowy colour without looking garish like a clown. and what's great is that it brightens my face up during winter and would really go with all the summer colours when the season comes. For a little bit of extra definition, I add Sheertone shimmer in Peachtwist for a lovely bronzed, coral look.

I agree with most reviewers- the texture of the blush is amazing, and even tops the regular sheertone shimmer formula, if that's possible, since those are already one of my faves. It is very fine and pigmented.

Hope MAC decides not to make this LE at some point. Speaking of which, I shall go and hunt for one more as spare in case they dont. hehhe...

*For ref, I'm an NC25 in Mineralize Satinfinish foundation, NC30 in Select SPF15 and C3 in Face and Body Foundation.

*UPDATE* I have been using this blush as a daily staple for almost 4 months now and I've barely made a dent in the pan! Lasts forever!

Beautiful coral-pink blush with shimmer. I also have Fafi Hipness but I prefer this to that. It's great for a summer look. Just throw this on and a warm pink lipgloss and you're good to go. I'm glad I picked this up since it's Limited Edition. If you get a chance, get this one before it's gone forever! I'm a NC40 for reference.

I own a lot of blush....all colours that are great for darker skintones (I'm NW45/NC50). This blush was the latest addition to my ever growing collection. Its a beautiful warm pink blush with a very smooth texture that shows up without having to load on the colour. There are fine sparkles in it but nothing too noticeable. As mentioned by previous reviewers, this blush texture is probably the best MAC has created to date. Hopefully they will continue and add more colours to the line up.

One of my favorite blushes! I love the way it looks on my skin (NC30.) It looks good in the day as well as night. You can highlight this blush with the Mineralized Skinfinish Shimmer Powder to get a luminous, glowy effect. LOVE IT!
