Sadly, this is NOT my colour. I so wanted to love this but on my skin it is VERY, very purple. It looks like a very unnatural plummy glow, no matter how lightly I apply it.
The texture is absolutely heavenly and the pigmentation is INCREDIBLE. I will be trying more of the beauty powder blushes for these reasons.
Mine is now up for swaps.

This is probably my more pigmented blush. But I love the color and glow that it gives me skin. And the best part was that I found it at my local CCO.

I like this blush--it's a true pink--but I don't feel like it's all that unique a color, so not sure I'd ever repurchase. It's HIGHLY pigmented, though, so you have to be careful not to over-apply.

This should be a permanent MAC blush. It has silver shimmer, so it is literally the ONLY pink blush that stays truly pink on me nc37-40. For pinks, I've tried MAC dollymix, MAC tenderling, NARS angelika, Bobbie Brown pink sugar, etc.- they ALL turn slightly apricot I think they tend to oxidize a bit with my foundation or react with my yellow skin tone and turn peachy-pink which I hate, but this one doesn't. Really unique color!

It looks muaveish pink in the pan but the color payoff is a nice cool toned pink on my NC25 skin. Its very pigmented, more then nars...which I have to layer on.

This blush is lovely to use on days when I don't want to go all out with makeup.
It just gives a really natural colour to my cheeks, and is easy to apply lightly. I love the formula of the beauty powder blushes and still have yet to find one that I don't love...so I am probably a tad biased, but I really think that the BPBs are one of MAC's best products!

I LOVE this blush! I would describe it as kind of a berry/mauve/pink color. Its so beautiful! I have quite fair skin during fall/winter and this color looks lovely and really brightens up my face. I think it would love great on darker skintones too though because it is very buildable.

This is basically the blush I wear when I don't know what blush to wear. It's a very natural colour, kind of pinky mauve, it's hard to explain. It's not overly pigmented or long lasting but I love the colour so much I still use it.

WOW! I love love love this blush. This blush is what I hoped On a mission and Breath of plum would be. It brightens my face, has a great sheen when used with a 187. My HG plum blush, If I had the mondey I'd buy a a few backups. It's awesome!

I was a bit scepitcal at first hand, thinking it looked to plummy being summer - until I tried it on my cheeks. Loved the color. It doesn't look at all overbearing since the consistency of a beauty powder blush just blends so well into your setting powder.

My new favorite blush! This is a bright pink with hints of plum. Brightens up my whole face and gives me a healthy glow. I find I have to use a light hand or this is a bit too much for my NW15 skin, but the 187 or 188 takes care of that. The beauty powder blush formula is excellent. Great staying power and doesn't make me look like I'm glowing as a lot of the mineralized blushes do. Definitely worth tracking down. Too bad this is LE because I think it's one of the best blushes they've come out with.

I went through a lot to get my hands on this and it was worth it. I am a NW15 and this is very flattering. I love blushes with a hint of purple and this has that perfect amount in it plus that little bit of shimmer to give some oomph. It does go on rather darkly for my skin though, so I have to use the stippling brush to apply then sometimes even buff it with a kabuki. However, the gorgeous glow it gives to my cheek is worth any amount of difficult application. Would definitely buy again- that is if I can find it!

This is a pretty cool pink color without shimmer.. I overestimated how pretty it is. I actually got complimented on how nice it looked on my cheeks today and I think the color is beautiful and natural. It is good quality and good pigmentation since it is MAC. I will repurchase.. if it isn't limited edition.

i saw this blush at the CCO and went on here on my blackberry to read the reviews before passing it up. hehe, i'm such a nerd! anyway, after seeing girls with nc40 skin like me love it, i knew i had to snag it! at first i didnt like this blush. i thought it was too bright or too pink but now that ive actually worn it, i actually do love it! it gives me cheeks such a perfect pink flush without looking overly flushed. i normally dont do light blushes because they dont work on coloring and i usually dont go this dark, but this one is perfect! im so happy i got this and i found it at the CCO. i found it in ontario mills, ca if anyone is interested!
some of my other favorite pink blushes are shy beauty, stark naked, and dollymix!

I LOVE this blush from the Beauty Powder Blush (BPB) collection. True Romantic gives me a healthy glow. I'm an NC40, so it gives the right amount of pinkish/purple tone and just enough shimmer. Sometimes when I'm in the mood for a more dewy look, I brush Smashbox's Soft Lights in Tint over True Romantic. It makes it even more pretty. It tones down the purple and brings out more of the pink. If possible, I will definitely try to purchase a back-up at The Cosmetics Company Store (CCS) granted I could find it.

It's a shame that this was discontinued because it was one of MAC's limited edition. It's such a beautiful pink. Not too bright, not too sheer, not too sparkly. I need a lighter hand on my fair-medium skin in cooler weather and it's fine in the summer, when I'm a little darker. I'm so glad I got a hold of this.
Stay away from NARS pinks. MAC is better.

just like all my other MAC products, i picked this up at the CCO...and i will be going back for more cause i love this color. i am a NC42 and i previously tried shy beauty but found it too light for me. going into the fall, true romantic is a great plum colored blush that i enjoy wearing and anticipate using a lot this season.

Oooh, this is an awesome blush. Too bad it's LE. I was looking for a blush to complement by MAC Sweetie and Syrup lipsticks and this is it! The perfect mauve/plummy-pink shade on my neutral GGG skintone. The shimmer is very minimal and only serves to add a glow. I'm not sure it would work on extremely warm skintones, though.

*PIC* I am in love with the BPB formula! True Romantic was my favorite shade from this collection. The medium pink with a touch of purple is perfect for my complexion and they go on oh-so-smooth!!!! Not too much shimmer - just a nice glow. I will continue to use it and maybe repurchase if it ever gets low! Damn you MAC and your LE's!
