People with bad reviews for this product obviously didn't read the packaging... It is NOT for normal hair it is for DRY, CURLY, WAVY OR FRIZZ PRONE HAIR. I agree it is a bit pricey but if it works why not. Also it IS sulfate free so it will not become bubbly when in the shower like a normal sulfate shampoo (tresemme, pantene, herbal essences etc.). Also the reason why your hair may not feel as clean is because what sulfate shampoos do is they strip your hair of it's natural oils and leaves your hair weaker, however this shampoo keeps your hair with it's natural oils which accelerates hair growth.

I bought the LaCoupe Orgnx Balance shampoo and it leaves my hair too silky smooth. It makes my hair greasier and not volumized at all! If you have dry brittle hair that needs to be taimed, then definately buy this. This shampoo is way too conditioning for my hair and it makes it overly moisturized. Would not purchase again because I want my hair to be volumized and not stuck to my head!

I didn't like it. I bought it actually because the package said it that with every purchase a tree will be planted and as a hopeless volunteer, I decided o give it a try. I didn't like it because after washing with it my hair felt greasy and not really smooth. I also bought the conditioner and used it with it.
Not the worse shampoo of course but not worth buying.

I got this for free at ULTA with my rewards coupon. I've been using the shampoo for a couple months and at times I rotate it with other shampoos. I like the texture of it--a bit creamy, light, smells good, and lathers good for an organic shampoo. It leaves my hair a bit thicker. However, it doesn't clean hair as good as I'd like.

I was reall;y surprised by the last reviewers take on this shampoo. I am on my second bottle and really like it. I have a problem with developing folliculitis when I use sulphate-free/organic shampoos and I have had no problems whatsoever with this line.
It leaves my hair manageable and soft and the smell is really lovely.
I plan to keep repurchasing until it stops working for me. My only gripe is that it is a bit pricey for a drugstore shampoo...for the amount you get, it is almost comparable to what I would pay for salon shampoos...

Orgnx is a new line of hair care from LaCoupe that claim to have certified organic botanicals, be sulphate free, paraben free, DEA free, and animal-cruelty free. It is sold in a 300 ml bottle at Shoppers Drug Mart, and I got it on sale for $8.99.
The EM|body shampoo is made for people with fine and normal hair, so you can imagine how shocked I was when my hair felt weighed down and greasy. I admit that when I blow dried my hair it felt light and airy, which is what was supposed to happen. (There's a line on the bottle that reads "Release your hair's inner energy and light"!). But a day after washing my hair was seriously weighed down in grease. I can't believe how crappy this shampoo is, and I'm glad I didn't buy the conditioner. I finished off the bottle by using it as a body wash.
The only things I liked about this shampoo were the smell and the packaging. It’s hard to describe its scent, but to me it smells faintly of apples. Also, the scent reminds me of a shampoo I used to use in the early ‘90s. The bottle is agreeable because it’s hassle-free and the cylindrical shape is a replica of the Vidal Sassoon shampoo & conditioner bottles in the ‘90s.
I don’t think I’m going to buy anymore LaCoupe shampoos and conditioners. The orgnx EM|body shampoo has turned me off. LaCoupe needs to either discontinue this line of products or change the ingredients.
