This is a strange eyeliner. The "nib" is not a brush like a traditional liquid eyeliner, it's more a plastic, hairless pointer. However, with a bit of practice, it's easy enough to use. The formula is average, it isn't waterproof, fades after about 2 hours to a patchy grey, and will smudge within about 4 hours. One good thing about this eyeliner is that it is very black. For a better budget buy try Collection 2000.

New Zealand, $13.95

I've repurchased this several times, probably because I'm too lazy to find something better. Considering the price, it's a crazy good liquid eyeliner. I love the felt tip it has and how long the tiny pottle lasts. I find the coverage a little off, it's definitely not me being bad at eyeliner, I promise. I always notice spots along my eyelashes that aren't black but it's nothing major.

For a cheap eyeliner, it certainly does the trick. You do get what you pay for but on the cheap, it's probably the best out there.

I have been using this eye liner every day for several years. It gives a nice smooth line over my eye lid. However, I do find it difficult to draw a thin line and after using it frequently it the brush goes funny and makes it extremely hard to use. It is so cheap that I can easily go out and buy a new one.

I'm rubbish at applying liquid liner but this makes it much easier and stays on all day.

Adore this so much. It is so easy to apply, doesn't come off over the course of the day even when rubbed slightly (and has survived through many workouts), its a gorgeous jet black and on top of it all is so cheap! You may think this is another standard drug store eyeliner but it is so good and i recommend it very highly. I wear a thick line of eyeliner with a cats eye flick at the end. I was worried the applicator was too thin but you can angle it for ANY thickness. It's a sponge applicator, and is rigid but doesn't drag your eyelid. Love it.

I'm fairly new to using liquid eyeliner, I've always been more comfortable using pencil liner, but I decided I wanted to try out liquid for maybe the second time ever. Last time I got a dirt cheap liner that was awful, and while Rimmel's liner isn't that expensive it was definitely better quality. The brush is very thin, which is lovely, and the liner is very dark. However, it did seem that the brush being so thin led to me getting it all over without realizing. Maybe when I've had some more practice with it I'll enjoy it more.

This is THE best eyeliner I've used. I'm Asian and have an "eyelid" crease--however, my lids do fold over a little when I open/close my eyes. Due to this and the fact that I have extremely oily skin, my eyeliner almost always smears. I've tried Maybelline's eye studio lasting drama gel liner, Clinique's eye defining liquid eyeliner, and Wet n' Wild's gel eyeliner, as well as a number of pencil eyeliners. All of them smudged on my eyelids within a few hours. THIS eyeliner, however, does not. I've worn this eyeliner on hot, humid days, at disgustingly sweaty and overpacked frat parties, or just throughout a long day of errands and classes..and it does not budge. I purchased one at the end of August and it's currently the end of March--the tiny little bottle holds a lot of product. I use this eyeliner on my top lids to do a cat eye--not sure how it holds up on the waterline, but it's amazing on the top lid.

This is a great eyeliner! Been using for this for years now. It is easy to use, waterproof and looks great! Also no smudging. However, my only down side is it needs a very steady hand to apply. But practice makes perfect! A definite buy product and easy for beginners too. .

Let me just start off saying...this is the first time I've tried liquid eyeliner, and I was a bit hesitant sine I don't have a steady hand. But, because it was cheap and I was looking for something that would last on my oily lids, I decided to give it a try.

This eyeliner was AWESOME. It has a felt tip with a long handle, so it's almost like using a pen to draw on your lids. It gives a pretty solid dark line and doesn't smudge like UD 24/7. However, I had to take off a lippie because the tip dried out pretty quickly when not in the tube. For only one eye, I had to re-dip, wipe off excess and apply to lid about 3-4 times.

I really like this liquid eyeliner, to be honest I have been pleasantly surprised by Rimmel recently. This liner I bought in 01 and it is a very dark and inky black color. It lasts a long time without fading, smudging or smearing. The only real issue with it is that the 'brush" tip could be a bit more flexible, it is a felt tip. But aside from that it is perfect very cheap too, under $5.

PROS: The brush is thin enough and easy to work with.

CONS: Sadly, this irritated my eyes and made them stung, so I wouldn't recommend it if the skin around your eyes is sensitive. Also, this is not waterproof so it tends to get runny after a while.

Great inexpensive product. I use the brown which is perfect for my ridiculously white skin and fair features, and yet to me it's still a bold enough colour that i can wear it at night with smokey eyes etc; it's a very dark brown. I only ever wear liquid liner on my top lash line/waterline. Love this product!

This was my first liquid eyeliner and when I ran out of it I decided to try a gel eyeliner. As much as I was trying I never got the hang of applying it no matter how long I practised. Just recently I decided to get a liquid one and then I remember this baby, bought it and I fell in love with it again. IT IS MUCH EASIER FOR ME TO DO A SMALL WING, NOTHING A DRAMATIC ONE (whereas with a gel I could not achieve it). This eyeliner applies very easily, it has very deep rich black color. It has survived rain and even several working out sessions!!! It can be removed with your regular remover easily as well.
OVERALL: Amazing drugstore liquid eyeliner that you should get your hands on if you are on a hunt for a good one :)

I really liked the brush, very accurate. Does smudge a little, but nothing noticeable. Opaque black which is lovely.
Shame that it isn't waterproof.

I have used this eyeliner for 5 years, it stays put and when it does fade it turns smokey rather than crusty and it lasts forever! I use eyeliner every day and a bottle still lasts me about a year, i love this product!

Bold color that lasts all day! I can even wear this in the rain and be confident that once it's on my face it will stay put! I wish the brush was a little smaller and thinner so it doesn't get on my lashes when I apply it. Will probably try another product after this with a thinner applicator.

Love this liquid eyeliner. Very pigmented black, dries quickly, and stays all day without budging or flaking. The felt tip applicator makes it a breeze to draw a thick or thin line too. Plus it's inexpensive and I paid under $5 at Walmart.

I got this in Black. I bought it since I wanted a fast eyeliner to fit in with my fast daily makeup routine, since for a while I used only gel liners and each time I had to clean the eyeliner brush afterwards- which cost me an expensive time in the mornings :)
I chose this one for the good reviews I red on it, for the shape of the brush and for it's good price.
I like it- it's a very dark black, which I like, and it will stay on for very long hours.
The only reason I took one point off is that after using gel liners I guess nothing will prove to last as long as they.

This comes in 2 shades, 100% Black #1 and Absolute Brown #2. I love the brown for daytime looks. Its a natural rich dark brown that matches my lashes perfectly, not too light, not too dark black-brown and not too red. Its easy to apply, the tip is firm but soft enough so it doesn't scratch my eyes. Lasts all day, no flaking and is easy to remove. The only problem I've experienced is if I rub the corner of my eyes it can fade in that place. But I usually pop it in my bag with me and its easy to do a quick touch up.

The price can't be beat for the quality. Here in New Zealand its around $17 - $19 and the product on the shelves is usually at least a year old. However, if you order from good overseas sites (ones that sell Rimmel as a standard regular line so the product is always fresh) with free shipping (eg ASOS or Feelunique) you can pick it up from the equivalent of NZ $7 - $12 depending on if you get a sale with coupon code or full price. AND the product is fresher.
