Since the reviews for this are all over the place I'm wondering if there's a quality control issue or if we are even using the same product. It feels nice going on my skin and it soaks right in but I wasn't impressed with it's oil controlling properties nor would I recommend it for oily skin. Silica powder works much better than this. I didn't notice anyone mention the weird scent. To me it smells like Play-doh.

I might buy this again. I wanted something that wouldn't break me out and prevented shine. I believe this has clay in it which does promote a shine-free face. I like the scent (it kinda has a clay smell), and it's moisturizing yet somewhat mattifying, which is kinda cool too. Well, this hasn't made me break out at all, but I don't use it all the time. I actually like face creams that are a little more emollient these days, and prefer less scented products, so I'm not exactly sure if I would buy this again, but I do like it and haven't had any problems with it.

I really wanted to like this product because it got good reviews on the Sephora.com website, and well... it's Sephora brand. BUT... I do not. I have really weird skin, as it starts out dry but my t-zone gets fairly shiny by the day's end, so I've been looking for a good Combination skin moisturizer that would moisturize well yet still control oil. This cream has a lovely, light texture, blended well and was absorbed quickly. However, my skin was left dry as a FART... as in, flakies and dry patches eeeeverywhere. There is a severe lack of moisturizing properties in this product. It would be way better for those with truly Oily skin, as I can see it would help in oil absorption, since it sucked all of the oil out of mine! Disappointing, especially at $23 CDN. Back to the store it goes and I will not repurchase.

Oil absorbing and oil controlling this is! Had to change from the dry skin formulation to the oily skin formulation for the summer heat and I loved how this felt on my skin and how it kept my makeup shine free.
This is a keeper!

This product did not work well with my oily skin. It made my face look extremely oily and greasy. I'll be returning this product.

i put a no for repurchase. but its more like a maybe. i can't decide for this product. but i kinda like it at the same time.
PROS: keeps my face oil free.
smells abit i cucumber...i like that =)
cons: i can't see a great difference in my skin.
won't say it makes my skin baby smooth...cuz i know the smoothness comes from my scrub <3
also i noticed when i tried to rub it in so my skin can absorb the lotion faster, the kind of....became like eraser dust. like how when you rub the eraser? the are tose little bits left? that was what happened =.= so ihave to let it sit and pat it in. so on second thought. i will not be buying this again. conclusion: IT IS AN "OK" PRODUCT. BUT NOT WORTHY OF A REPURCHASE.

This is a very good moisturizer. I think it "could" have made me break out, but then again, i also started using a new makeup around the same time as i started using this...so im not sure which caused the breakouts (i think it was the make-up, though...). the only reason why i would not buy this again is because it didnt control the flakes of dry skin i get very effectively. i returned it to sephora, got my money back, because i wanted a moisturizer to help control the flakes, but not make the rest of my skin oily. this lotion helped control oil well, though, didnt make my oily/combo skin feel greasy at all. i wish it had helped to combat the flakes of dry skin, because then i would've fallen completely in love with this moisturizer!

This moisturizer is great. It's not overly expensive, and it's great for those of us with an oily T zone. A little does go a long way and for someone who finds a lot of moisturizers greasy that's saying a lot.

I wanted to love this because you get a ton for your money and I trust Sephora to make a good product. However, this seemed to just sit on my skin and clog my pores. It increased oiliness and added significant redness around the T zone. I am thinking that my skin may have possibly had a reaction to it and I am not all that sensitive. If you think your skin may be sensitive at all I wouldn't recommend this. The good thing is that Sephora took this back, so at least if you risk it you can do so knowing that all isn't lost if it doesn't work for you either.

I'm on my 2nd tube now, and I just love this stuff. I fight with my skin to keep it happy, and am constantly battling with oiliness and dryness. This actually does what it says, and helps balance my skin so it's not so dry and not so oily, more normal! I almost had a heart attack when I was buying my 2nd tube and saw the ingredient list had changed a bit (same ingredients, although a couple were in a different order), but I was worried about nothing, as it works just as well as before. It has a very light, almost imperceptible scent, a little goes a long way, and it absorbs quickly.

I've been using this product for one week now and here's my experience:
It's not too expensive; you get a good ammount for your money. The creme is very light and silky. Smells fresh.
It leaves my face looking and feeling VERY greasy. It's supposed to leave a matte finish but that's not the case at all. It leaves an oily finish and I constantly have to use oil absorbing sheets.
I wouldn't buy this product again because the product doesnt do what it says it will. I'm disapointed.

A couple of weeks ago, I started my Clinique 3step Acne collection. I was using the Clearing Moisturizer, but it made my skin very dry, so i ended up using it once a day..but i didnt know what to use for the other part of my day.I had my Olay & Aveeno moisturizers that i stashed in my medicine cabinet because it made me break out a bit. I was afraid of using them again because the Clinique was already working, and i didnt want to mess that up, so I went to Sephora. The SA advised me to get the sephora FACE cream because it was an oil-regulating moisturizer. I was very skeptical about it..its been exactly a week now and i love it!I work in the middle of the day and im usually out in the sun, sweating! Since using this product, while working, my face doesnt get as oily as usual..the cream goes on smoothly. It doesnt leave my skin looking greasy! The only problem is that it doesnt have SPF, but i havent had break-outs (crosses fingers)..SO..LOVE LOVE LOVE this product!
