I like that this product has a heavy duty case, so I won't be worried about it opening if I'm taking it along with me in my purse.
I love these colors, and was originally drawn to them because I have a great Maybelline quad with very similar colors. I loved the Maybelline colors, but I felt that they didn't go on as well as they could have, so I went to find a better quality quad.
This quad is exactly that. It goes on well, stays on, and doesn't feel heavy.
The brushes that come with it are much better than the other brushes I have gotten with other quads, but I prefer to use my own because they are better quality.

This quad is very nice! it is small and easy to have in a handbag or purse.
The 4 colors are perfect for me with dark hair, light skin and green eyes.
the matte dark brown is perfect for a little smokey effect, and the shimering ones add a little festivity to the daily makeup.
The color last good, and covers well.
I love the design of the quad it is practical, and easy to open.

Love this - long lasting & color is beautiful. Knocked down packaging b/c I am not a fan of the foam applicators. Work ok but after awhile the foam comes off of the applicator which is ridiculous for the price!

I bought this to replace the Dior Elegante quint I had that mysteriously disappeared off somewhere... and I think I actually like this one better. The shades are a light taupe beige, a soft coppery colour, a medium warm brown with a hint of bronze and a deep dark chocolate matte with teeny tiny sparkles. There's a bit of shimmer, but not too much so these are very suitable for daytime or wearing to work and though I haven't tried it yet, I suspect a gorgeous brown smoky eye combo too.
They wear well, at least 6 hours so far today without creasing or fading and without an eye primer either, so they'll quite likely last a good bit longer!
I got this for half price at a Boxing Day sale and I think it would be worth full price if I ever ran out (which I doubt will ever happen as I have a rather large collection of eyeshadow) and wanted to buy it again. It's a very classic neutral quad that virtually anyone could use, though I think it would look absolutely stunningly gorgeous on blue eyes.
The only slight let down is the packaging. Compared to the sleek black and white minimalism of Chanel and elegant glossy blue hologram embossed Dior compacts, this flat plastic brown with a large square gold EL emblem seems a bit retro and old fashioned. This may well be the look they are going for but I have seen much classier packaging from Estee Lauder in their blockbusters and GWP!
Still the product inside is what counts.

i love this eyeshadow quad, it's very good for creating a neutral, soft, natural look. I took a lippie off because sometimes you need to reapply the eyeshadow in order to bring the colors out. This quad is pretty decent though..

A semi-decent quad if you do not already have similar shades. The shades in this quad are as follows: a sandy champagne color, a rich gold, a khakhi green shade, and matte brown. The former three contain shimmer. The colors all work well for various neutral looks, however, I just don't think they perform that well. If you already have an ample amount of neutral eye shadows, this quad is going to offer you nothing. The Estee Lauder singles are exponentially better, since they are a bit more pigmented and have superior silky texture. I don't mind sheer eyeshadow but these were barely pigmented. There are many brands that make better eyeshadow sets than these, including their sister company Clinique. I did not experience any allergic reaction to these like the other reviewers, thankfully.

I quite agree with the previous review.
The colours are lovely - look great when applied. The palest - sand coloured - is very good and the greeney one also - most unusual.
However..................having spent 40 euro on this product, I was disappointed to find my eyes extremely sore after about 10 minutes - makes me sy pathise with the unfortunate rabbits they use in their tests.
No matter how pretty a colour an eyeshadow is, does not look very attractive with red weeping eyes! I tried this 3 times - just in case there was some other reason.............But no - so into the dustbin!

Age: 30-35 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Blond, Straight, Fine Eyes: Blue
The colors: deep peach, ivory, bronze, chocolate brown
The finish: satin with very fine shimmer/sparkle
The packaging: square brown compact with large mirror and 2 double ended sponge applicators. The applicators are actually *surprise* useful, one has a pointed tip suitable for lining, and one has a brush tip suitable for blending.
Handy for travel since I don't need to pack separate brushes.
Beautiful warm colors that look absolutely natural and elegant.
Powder is not as creamy smooth as Chanel, but this is a very nice quad for all occasions. Lovely colors!! Would purchase again.

This is the new line from Estee Lauder. They are discontinuing the quads that they currently have-the ones that are similar to a brick of individualized colors. (you know what I mean!) I wanted to get the Energizing Khaki quad, only to find out that they were discontinuing those. I tried these on, and they were ok. They come in a newly designed square blue package, with the big EL in a gold square on top. All colors are separate and much easier to access. These come with two applicators, one with the pointed end and the other with a brush (think Clinique). The colors were average. There was a light cream with a hint of shimmer, a deep gold color, a green olive color and a dark brown. They were pretty when on my eyes, the SA felt that it would bring out the gold in my brown eyes. Within minutes, however, my eyes began to itch. And burn. And itch. They are still swollen a bit, and I believe that it was the gold color, as it had a hint of an orangey tinge to it. The colors lasted for quite a while, but I wasn't really able to judge as I kept rubbing my eyes as they were in pain. I would like to try the other quads, as they had some very pretty colors. There is a beautiful set with blues and silver, as well as a very neutral set with a light pink, cream, and dark brown. I like the fact that these are packaged differently, the brushes appeared to be easier to use than the tiny applicators in the single colors. I will try again when the swelling goes down...
