I have been using Vivant products for over a year now and my skin colorization, tone, and smoothness has improved significantly. I love the Vivant Mandelic Acid Serum. I have ultra oily skin and this in conjunction with the rest of the Vivant products has made a difference in my skin's appearance. Only complaint I have is that some of the products come in glass vials. I'm clumsy and have broken a couple of them on my tile floor.

This is a very clean mandelic product, without many extra ingredients. I found that it works great on my slightly breakout-prone skin, and does a wonderful job at tightening the pores on my nose. The main problem I have with this product is the high alcohol content. This does work very well at reducing clogged pores and lightening red marks though!

I have been using this product for the past 6 weeks for blackheads in my T-zone. From what I have researched, mandelic acid is an AHA w/BHA like properties. In other words, it exfoliates the top layer of your skin and because of it's molecular structure, it also penetrates the pore. This serum should be used very sparingly, It comes with a dropper. I only use 4 drops for basically my entire face. You don't want to use it daily right away as you will need to build up a tolerance. It has been working great to clear up and prevent acne, including cysts I tend to get on my chin. My skin is extremely oily and tough so I know it will take awhile to clear up my severe blackheads that I have had since I was 14. I use this in conjunction w/green cream 6 and they work wonders together. I'll update after awhile when I can step up to daily use to see how it clears up my blackheads.

I jumped on the mandelic acid bandwagon wanting to fade some acne hyperpigmentation. Vivant Mandelic Acid Serum 15% is a watery serum that didn't do much except cause severe irritation. At first, I poured a little bit of the product into my hand and smoothed the liquid on my face. The next morning, my hand had peeled so after that I applied with a q-tip. This was very irritating and caused my face to become red and peel and break out. I only used this product three times before it dried up in one week. I can’t really say if it would have worked if I stuck with it because the container did not protect the product. I tightened the cap closed each time I used it. A pump might be a better option for this product. This was a waste of $32 plus shipping.
