I paid over $30 for this mascara (woohoo living in NZ...) and am very disappointed! It claims to be a lengthening mascara but I can only seem to get stubby volumised lashes from using it. The formula is very dry and flaky, when applying it leaves black dust all over my face and is very hard to get onto all my lashes. It does have good staying power and once you get through all the dust it creates when applying it lasts all day without smudging or flaking. Will not be buying again as I can't stand dry formulas.

I got weird bent eyelashes with this product. It darkened lashes, but that's it.

This is the best mascara ive ever used!! Ive gone from loreal double lash..which didnt do very well.. then i went to loreal volumnious which i found was very clumpy and dried up easily..then i bought this today!! This is the best!! I love the short wand.. and it lengthened and thickened and volumed my lashes just as promised!! I look like a have baby doll eyelashes... i absolutley love it !

This product is good for darkening your lashes. It doesn't enhance your lashes in other ways though. Yet, its good for people who want to darken their lashes without any smudges and reapplication. It does last a while and it didn't smudge even thouh most mascaras and eyeliners smudge on me.

Terrible mascara! Smudges and flakes!! Won't buy this again, never!! poor packaging too. It's good to have a lash comb though.

i bought this for my beach house stays last summer. it was great at first but when i woke up the next morning my lashes had kinda formed into this bizarre creased shape. not a curl but a crease. it was fine and great for the vacation but i doubt i would ever use this again and do not advise others to try it

3/18/04 addendum: I stopped using this because it made my eyelashes break off. Yikes!
Whoa! If you're not careful with this one you'll look like Tammy Faye! I made the mistake of trying it the first time without a lash comb handy. Yikes! But if you apply carefully and comb out all the globs, it will truly last for three days through sleep, shower and ... whatever else you're up to. I have super long lashes already so the tint just made them look darker and thicker which was great. But be careful or you'll end up with three lashes on each eye! Also, it is really hard to remove. I've just been letting it wear itself off after a few days, because trying to remove it is a pain!

I love this product. I wear contacts so I am constantly touching my eyes and have to be careful about smudging. I find only a few mascaras that work for me and this is definately one!

This would be a good mascara for someone who doesn't wear much makeup. All it does is darken the lashes--no thickening, no lengthing.

I love this mascara! Generally I like to try a lot of different brands of makeup and rarely buy the same product twice, but this is the exception. It stays on all day, with no flaking/smearing. However, I do "blot" the wand with a tissue before applying it, since it can be too globby right out of the tube.

I realllllyyyy like this product. For me, I don't have much time in the morning and this is great, because I can apply it in the evening and wear it for three whole days with no smearing, raccon eyes, or flaking. It can be a little challenging to apply, but if you apply two or three coats, without letting them dry, it can look really nice. plus it gives me that "Don't envy me, I just have naturally long, fluttery, black lashes." Which is just what I wanted, so all in all, this is a Rave.

I purchased this product from Eckerd since they have thier "Beauty Promise" and will let you return items if you're not happy w/them. Good thing, b/c I used this once and then returned it! Initially it seemed OK, but my lashes were a little clumpy. The next morning when I got up, my lashes were TOTALLY clumped, all stuck together, and very painful to separate! Even baby oil didn't help much in getting this stuff off my lashes. I don't recommend this product at all.

Colorstay Lash Tint is a very unique product, not a normal mascara. It's watery, but dries quickly, so get it right the first time. Use an eyelash comb before it dries, or you'll never comb through it. This product is very long lasting, doesn't smudge or flake.It's great for weddings and funerals. I hated the rounded end on container couldn't stand it up so it'll keep rolling off the table. I wouldn't use this every day, only for special occasions.It comes off easily with baby oil.

I loved this product! The lady at the store told me to apply it quickly and put a second coat on while the first was still wet. She said this was the key. It is not mascara! It colors your lashes and thickens them only slightly. I have had it on for two whole days now...no raccoon eyes yet! It lasts through showering and it beats mascara hands down. This coming from one who doesn't like to use mascara anyway.

If it goes anywhere but your lashes, removing it from your skin, and not your lashes, is an oily challenge. And while it looked okay (not great)when first put on, this morning (about 12 hours later) my lashes have bonded together so I have about 6 top lashes and 4 bottom. And, once again, removal is an under-eye shadow creating nightmare.

I agree that this mascara (lash tint) caused my lashes to turn stiffer than mascara, BUT this stays PUT all day with no smearing at all! The trick is to apply one eye at a time, and seperate with a lash comb as soon as you finish applying. It even stays in tact when you sleep (I tried this) and take a shower (my sis tried this). Perfect for those who suffer from racoon eyes. Use oil-based eye makeup remover for this.

This stuff stuck like glue. It did not make my lashes look better. It would not come off. It hurt to get off with remover, soo much that it wasn't worth putting on in the first place. I will not buy it again!!!
