I love this as a deep conditoner! I have been trying to use it as a conditioner for con-wash (curly girl method whatever you wanna call it) but i have found it is too heavy. It is difficult to make sure that you have washed it all out but when you do manage to, it leaves hair soft and managable. The absolute best thing about this conditoner is the smell. It is amaaaazzziinngggg.

I love this product. I don't overdo it with this as I find it kind of builds up with continued use; but when my hair feels dry and damaged I use this product to revive it. Sometimes I mix it with the Organic Root Stimulator Hair Mayonnaise and it really helps repair my hair from flat irons and curling irons. I've passed this on to others and they love it too. My mother (4b hair), my mother-in-law (Peruvian hair) and I (3b hair) use it and we think it's a great in-expensive product.

Ironically I liked this on my natural hair better than on my relaxed hair, but up to a limit. Now I am realistic that my hair dry and fine 4a/b/c (but doesn't look like it is fine to many stylist) porous hair loves moisture in any forms but if I use it consistently, my hair becomes stringy and gross and feels coated. I have pretty much moved on to better conditioners, which ironically is the ORS HaiRepair Nourishing conditioner.

Two chelating shampoos, one regular clarifying shampoo and baking soda...over the course of two days- this is what it took for me to wash ALL of this product out of my hair.

This used to work for me when it first came out, nowadays it just sits on my hair and makes it feel like I tried conditioning it with candle wax!!! Literally.
I'm not sure what is in this to have made it make my hair feel so awkward (I want to say it was the hydrolyzed collagen, but again, I'm not too certain). No matter what I was doing, it was FLAT and dull. Granted, I have really coarse and thick hair that soaks up anything that has moisture, so it may just be me, but if your hair is anything like mine, steer clear of this! I love their olive oil shampoo though...

I would NOT recommend this product for [dread]locked hair. It is entirely too heavy and greasy for it. I used it for a couple of months and I had so much buildup in my locks, that it took over a year to get it out!

I'm going to be a Debbie Downer and say that I am NOT feeling this conditioner anymore. When my hair was relaxed this conditioner was the business for me, it left my hair strong, soft and smooth. When I was transitioning back to my natural hair it helped me to stop the breakage with the two textures, left my hair hair strong, soft and smooth and easy to detangle. It was an absolute joy to use. However, when I used this conditioner last week for the first time since becoming fully natural IT WAS NOT HAPPENING FOR ME!! It left my hair feeling dry, frizzy and rough, tangled and overall just NOT CUTE. I had to deep condition, deep condition and deep condition before my hair felt normal and curls were popping again! -_-;
It was such a good friend to me while relaxed and transitioning that I REALLY want to give it another try, but I'm too scared to at the moment. Hopefully in the future when I'm brave enough to use it again it'll work for me otherwise I'm going to have to say farewell. Until then, when my hair is in need of some protein I'll just stick to using eggs.

This is absolutely garbage , that's all I can say , I had to use a clarifying shampoo to get it off my hair , not recommended at all (I 'm Caucasian with dry , thick coarse hair if that matters)

I LOVE this stuff! I used to buy the packs before they had it in bottle form, yet for some reason I forgot about it and started using other products. A few weeks ago I went to do a protein treatment on my hair, which came with a moisturizer that I wasn't satisfied with. I happened to come across another one of these packs in Rite Aid and used it in place of the moisturizer after the treatment. WOW. My hair was soft, moisturized, and healthy feeling. It didn't feel weighed down, even with the non-water soluble cone in it (yeah, I'm one of those...). I now use it once a week to deep condition on my wash day and will continue to do so, especially since I have this lovely bottle form. As long as the formula stays the same, I will keep buying it ;)

Wow so I have been using this product only for a few days but what a difference. I have fine straight asian hair which I do not heat style. Which would leave it in good condition but it is very long and tangles easily so I have to usually use a detangler and conditioner. Also I have oily roots so I usually use a strong shampoo and lather twice but my scalp is so greasy! I do get fizzy toward the end of my hair and so I usually use a heavier conditioner there. Now that said, I had dried out my hair into a awful mess using a aritha Bar shampoo, which is weird because the powder in it's natural state makes my hair look lovely. But this Aritha bar shampoo dried out and coated my hair it looked awful. I logged on to MUA saw the great reviews and I went to sally's and brought this, I haven't used it as a deep conditioner I usually wash and use this as a regular conditioner and clip up my hair while I do the rest of my showering and I don't need a extra detangler! Although my hair felt coated when I got out of the shower it was soft oil free and frizz free I plan to buy the shampoo conditioner and styling lotion for my cousin with thick curly kinky hair. This works on all hair types and olive oil is wonderful for you. Will buy again only 7.00 dollars!

PROS: Best deep conditioning treatment that is reasonably priced (or even compared to the expensive ones). Very pleasant orange peel scent. My hair is very damaged but very fine, so I usually use this as a pre-shampoo treatment. Is at my local Walmart (in the African-American hair section.)

CONS: None for me.

APPLICATION TIPS: You can towel dry your hair before applying to get it where it will really soak into the hair.

ALTERNATES: For pre-shampoo, I also like MegaGrowth Anti Breakage Strengthener. (I still prefer this though because it's a bit more conditioning/healing for my hair.) For after shampoo but deep conditioning, I like L'oreal's MegaMoisture (found at Sally's Beauty Supply.)

I have been using this for a year now. I'm still using the old bottles of Creme of Nature moisturizing shampoo and I use this straight after I wash my hair for approximately 10 minutes then wash out. I dilute it first with a little water and throw it over my hair. So here's the story, I ran out of it about 3 months ago and have been using any other brand out there (drug store, bbs) and slowly my hair has been getting..i'm guessing it's over moisturized. It breaks easily at the end. Needless to say I rushed out today to repurchase this conditioner. All of the others are going into the trash. Using this, some hair, nail, skin multi vitamins and CON my hair has grown beyond belief, really fast.

1 YEAR UPDATE
Can I say that the conditioner is the one in the huge green colored bottle NOT the little packets that you find in the box of relaxer or at teh BBS in the front. The packets do not work on my hair. I love the citrus scent of it but otherwise it's not good for my hair. The BOTTLE on the hand is amazing. I mix it with Olive oil and use it every time i wash my hair for silky softness.
Both Creme of Nature shampoo (the old version - I bought up 10 bottle stash before they stopped making it) and this worked amazing together. It's like crack for my hair.

1.5 YEAR UPDATE
I forgot to rebuy and kept using other conditioners for 4 months and my hair went to hell. It got dryer, started breaking at the ends and looked like crap. Within 2 conditions of using this again after my CON my hair was back to normal. Nothing else works for my hair as good as this.

This is marvelous stuff. It leaves my hair like butter, smelling like orange ice cream, and so shiny. It leaves my hair feeling light too. This is the bottled version of the Replenishing pack, which you can find separately or find inside their Olive Oil relaxers, which are wonderful as well. I think there isn't a hair type that wouldn't benefit from this. If you have curly hair this should be great, if you have relaxed hair this should be miraculous.

This product is great for dry or damaged hair. It smells like sweet citrus and the consistency is yogurt-like. It works well at putting back the moisture in fragile strands

It was a good conditioner but not my favorite. I didn't like the texture, color, or smell because it didn't make my hair feel silky at all. Infact it made it feel damp and limp. But after a coupld days I could really tell that my hair was shinier and healthier. I think it's true to it's name. It strengthens hair...but I prefer more moisturizing ones...n_n

I've been using this product since I was relaxed for 3 years, and now as a natural, I still use it for my deep conditioning treatments once a fortnight. I used to really love using it when I was a relaxed girl, but now I'm looking around for something else for my natural hair, as it is too thick and heavy for my afrocurls. The scent is okay, it has a citrus scent and it grows on you over time, but it's not a fun scent that I look forward to like the Palmolive conditioners.

If anyone has any suggestions for a deep conditioner available in the UK or europe please let me know!

Thank you
