Average scrub, nothing extraordinary about it. I don't think it makes my skin any better.

I have tried this but was not t keen in on it as i do not like the smell of it. It does warm up when you add water but this sensation does not last long and then is gone within seconds so i prefer the original one and will stick to that.

This is an average scrub. I do like that a small amount goes a long way and the warming sensation is pleasant. But what bugs me is that the size of the scrubbing particles is a bit big and jagged feeling. I feel like I am scraping my face with a coarse grit sandpaper when I am using it. Not a bad scrub but I don't think it is a suitable scrub for my skin type. On the plus side, I got it for a dollar at my local dollar tree so no hurt feelings.

I like this scrub. I use it in the shower. When you squeeze some on your hand then and a drop of water and rub your hands to make it warm up. A little goes a long way. I use about the size of half a penny and it's still a lot! It smells good. It reminds me of apples mixed with garnier fructis shampoo. It also foams up so you don't have to use a cleanser. When you really foam it up the exfoliant grains (sugar) dissapear. Overall, it works good, smells good, and I would buy this again.

I found this at the dollar store and I wish I had bought a few more while I had the chance. I use this at night to take my makeup off and it works great. I love the way it warms up when it hits my face and leaves my skin feeling really clean. I will be repurchasing.

okay, so this scrub is amazing for making your skin 'baby-smooth'. i was looking for a scrub that would make my acne die down, but it didnt help it that much. i found my skin was amazingly soft and smooth after and it did give me a very clean feeling. i will buy it again to make my skin soft, after i have my breakouts under control :)

I found this at a random dollar store and I was like WHAT!?!?! St. Ives at the Dollar store?? So I bought two (wish I had bought more) I love it so far! feels nice on my face and all the beads wash off which is a huge plus for me! I love that it doesn't have any acne medication in it since I find that makes my mild breakouts worse than anything.

EDIT: started to hate this, i used it in the shower and it kept getting in my mouth and the taste was so awful it made me throw up. (i know it's not supposed to taste GOOD but i've gotten stuff in my mouth before and it was never bad enough to make me throw up!)

I love the scrub itself, though it took me a few tries to get the warming action going, but it does work. The thing I love most about this is the smell; it smells delicious for a drug store brand. Haha.

The only gripe I have with it is the bottle. I know the cap is designed to prevent water from activating the warming ingredient, but it's REALLY hard to squeeze out. If I'm not fast, it'll lose its warming property on my hand by the time I'm done wrestling with the bottle. :(

I am pretty much in love with this scrub.
The scent is light and wonderful and leaves my skin feeling clean and soft, but definitely doesnt over do it. (I should note that I have sensitive skin which can be somewhat temperamental with the things I put on it)

I know many people complain about how the warming sensation is little to none, and when I first started using it, I agreed. This was because I used it only at the sink. My recommendation to those who can't feel it is take it into the shower with you and wait til the end of your shower to use it so that the heat and the water have some time to open up your pores and after you can definitely feel it... and its great!

My only complaint is that the bottle is a little stiff for squeezing the scrub onto my fingertips, but as far as I know, St. Ives has changed up the packaging on this line of products and maybe it has improved.

Overall I am very pleased.
Not harsh or weak, smells great and feels good... gets the job done.
Very much prefer the warming scrub as opposed to the apricot scrub.

I didn't need another scrub, cleaners, etc., but I couldn't resist the price tag of $2.00 (less 20% w/ coupon) at Big Lots. I followed another reviewers instructions and I apply the scrub with dry hands. IMO, I don't think it would really matter if you used wet or dry hands, because the warming feature in my tube, is pretty much non-existent.

However, there is a very large amount of "scrub" ~ much more than I expected. If you have sensitive skin, this might not be the scrub for you. The scrub is slightly oily; I checked the ingredients and there is nothing in it that can cause breakouts, so this product will work for me. After using the scrub, my skin is very clean and smooth with a pink, healthy glow (sans foundation) that lasts for a couple of hours. I like this scrub and if I can find it for $2 ~ I will buy this product again...

EDIT!!!:
I officially love this stuff. It does indeed warm if you make sure that your hands are DRY before applying it to your face.
Also, use more than you think you need. I started out using a tiny little bit. The second time, I thought I'd taken way too much. Turns out it worked better like that. You get tons of exfoliating beads if you use a little more product. (I retract my earlier comment about not being a scrub, and not exfoliating well.)
This is definitely NOT a use-in-the-shower kinda product. But it washes off rather easily for it's consistency. You're not trying to wipe off beads for hours.
It left my face so silky smooth I'm having a hard time not touching it constantly.

First Use:
I think I solved the problem alot of people have had with this product. Instead of lathering it in your hands, (and making it heat up on your hands, and not on your face) get an even amount on the finger tips of BOTH your hands, and lather it up on your face.

I used it in the shower today and I like it. It's really silky, and the beads aren't harsh. But in no way would I call this a scrub. It doesn't really... scrub so much as wash. I use the St. Ives Apricot Scrub for exfoliating, and have for over a year now. So I wasn't expecting too much out of the exfoliation side of it.

I'll definitely buy it again, as it doesn't even come to $10 CDN, and does exactly what I need it to. (It's a light exfoliation mid-way in my cleansing routine. I find the Apricot Scrub every 2 days to be too harsh on my skin.)

I can't fault this much -- I got it at a discount store for $2. It is more gentle than the apricot scrub and I use it often. This is not a very good review, huh?
OK. It works and it's a heckuva lot cheaper than most other brands.

I like this scrub alot. I find that st Ives is the only brand with decent exfoliating beads. My skin had been looking dull and when I used this two days in a row it was looking bright and healthy. This scrub doesnt really "warm" much but if I use it after a bath it practically gets rid of my blackheads although wouldn't buy it again because i really like to try new products.

I use mostly my Queen Helene Mint Julep scrub...I love that stuff..but decided to try this one just to change it up a little...well I like the way it warms up and it goes on smooth it does need to have a little bigger beads - LOVE the smell and the way it leaves ur skin when it rinses off...very nice and soft....but the warming just happens while on my hands dont feel it once is on my face...hmmmm....I would buy it again tho...☺

Not a bad warming scrub- prior to this, I used the regular St Ives Apricot Scrub which I love for its grainy texture. This scrub has teeny tiny exfoliating beads, and the kicker is that it warms up too (even if its just for a quick second). The warming sensation is lovely, it relaxes your pores. Other than that, this product is like any other exfoliator so if that's what you're looking for, then this is great.

I'm trying the OLAY Thermal Regenerist scrub now, just to see if its any good- it has a ton of good reviews, a little more pricey though.

:]

This was my second purchase from the Elements line. It had beads a lot smaller than my previously reviewed Blemish Fighting scrub, and I felt that these beads did a better job of exfoliating my skin. I love the warm feeling upon application, but it dissipates quite quickly which was kind of a bummer. It did get most of my makeup off, and scrubs with beads usually don't do a good job at that. I think I like the Olive cleanser more, though - so I won't buy this again.

I got this with a BOGO coupon. I also got St Ives Elements Olive Cleanser. It is very thick, and comes in a fat tube. I used it in the shower, and it was a tricky getting it out of the tube. It's a cream with exfoliants and warms up very quickly, but doesn't last that long. I felt like it cleaned my face well enough. It's got a light apple scent. I probably won't repurchase.

I really really like this scrub. It warms when you put it on your face and is just wonderful!!! I wish it had more beads but the lather seems to clean my face well and it is not drying.
