I am almost finished with the 28-day routine Dr.Hauschka recommends with this (nothing else but this on your skin for 28 nights in a row) and so far I'm very pleased. I am also using their Cleansing Cream, toner and serum for mature skin. No irritation, no breakouts, and my skin looks and feels good... fresh, if I had to describe it in one word. The first few evenings were a bit uncomfortable due to the dry feeling (my skin is used to getting a serum and a night cream on it in the evenings, usually blended with rose hip oil or similar), but this went away pretty fast. Every single morning I've woken up with a supple, well moisturized skin. Strange! But I like it, and have no worries continuing with just the serum as a night treatment (as they recommend) after finishing the 28-night cycle with the ampoules. A stubborn vertical line on my upper lip is almost gone (note: I almost got rid of this a year ago when I first tried Dr.Hauschka - see my review of the Revitalizing Mask. Due to stubborn breakouts I stopped using this line, but now I haven't had any problems.). And the beginnings of some naso-labial lines I had before look more like dimples again (as they used to few years ago:)... so nothing to complain here, either;)

I firmly believe the secret of the good results is in the whole idea of Dr.Hauschka; putting only high quality bio dynamic or organic ingredients on your skin, and not forgetting to treat your skin from the inside too; we are what we eat so pure, organic and natural ingredients on your plate as well :) Not to mention the inner balance on soul level, but that's another story. :) They do talk about this too, so it's worth checking out their website and the philosophy etc.

As I mentioned above, I tried this line a year ago with good (lines diminishing, pores smaller etc) and bad (breakouts that would not go away) results. I think the culprit was both beeswax which seems to cause me breakouts, AND a detox reaction.. I was going through some significant changes in my diet (more organic, raw, green, superfoods etc) and have continued that ever since. And now, no breakouts and I'm thinking it's because the biggest cleansing process in my body has been done already. The only reason i'm not giving this product 5 lippies is because I think this doesn't do the trick alone - you have to follow the philosophy. For Dr.Hauschka in general, I give 5 lippies. :)
UPDATE: just to be accurate, this review was for the ampoules "N".

I'm pretty torn with this product. I have really difficult skin, that's basically everything at the same time: Dehydrated, oily, blemish-prone and sensitive, and I'm starting to get lines since I'm on my thirties. I got this product based on the reviews and because I'd like my skincare products to be more natural. I got 10 pack of these to get started.
Well. It sounded great that you could actually normalize your skin using these, and quite frankly that is exactly what happened. I was amazed of the results: my skin became even toned, it wasn't oily anymore and it seemed to be working great. I had NORMAL skin. For five days that is. After that it was downhill all the way. My skin became irritated, red, blotchy and broke out badly. I tried to stick with it thinking the reactions would go away after my skin got used to it, so I bought another 10 pack of these. How stupid was I. Continuing with these only made things worse.
They are also really expensive: 10 ampules cost me 26 euros.
So, I don't know. The initial results were great, so I'm wondering wether to try these again later with some Dr. Hauschka mask. But for know, it's a no go.

I have difficult sensitive oily and acne prone skin and this really worked a treat. It calmed my skin down and I wake up to a really even complexion every morning. Some big cysts forming on my chin from kissing my boyfriend (from rubbing onto his stubble) and they stopped forming and went away after two nights of use. Also the dehydration lines that were forming under my eyes were gone too! I am doing their complete program now. I only use half an ampoule though, and use kitchen wrap to seal the top and stick it in the fridge to keep it fresh for the next night - it's works well and enough to cover my face and neck.

This review is for the N treatment. And firstly, I only got this because I won a gift check for Hauschka products at my local health foods store – would NEVER have paid full price. I don't beleive in miracle products, I beleive in keeping your fingers away from your face, proper products, routine and time.

However, this product was a surprise and I am seriously reconsidering buying this next time I'm in Germany. I see a Dr Hauschka dermatologist now and then, and their advice is to use 30 ampules over one menstrual cycle (don't shoot the messager, I know it sounds veeeery holistic). I didn't do that. I started by using one now and then - no results whatsoever, so I'm afraid not all will see results overnight. I don't have large pores, so that may be the reason my results took a longer time coming.

I forgot about the package (remember, I didn't pay for it) until I ran out of night cream. Then, I started using this every night instead. About five days to a week into this routine, I started to notice the difference in my skin in the morning. It looked healthier, right out of bed, than before. My dry patches, which I have around and between my brows, under the chin and at the jawline, were no longer there. Blackheads dissaperared (I dont have that many, but still), oily zones where less oily and redness was dramatically reduced. I tended to look all puffy and ruddy in the face in the morning until a cleansing and moisturizer had it balanced out.

That's it, no more, no less. Enough to impress me, which is quite an acomplishment. The balancing properties of this treatment is exceptional and I will probably use it like another reviewer mentioned, when the weather changes.

Highly recommended – but get it in Germany :)

I got the ones for sensitive skin. I've used two ampules every night for two weeks and my skin is exactly as it was before starting the treatment with the difference that I wake up with super oily skin on my forehead. A big disappointment not worth the money at all. I'll finish the treatment and if anything changes (though I very much doubt) I'll edit the review.

EDIT: took a break from these then started again (just to finish them off). I'm only using one a night now and is more than enough. The product doesn't do miracles but it does leave you with a good skin in the morning.

I have used the Ampules in S (sensitive version) for four years now. I use nightly of the 50 ampules pack (purchase from Germany) twice a year when season changes. It calms my extremely sensitive skin for the weather change. This year I also try them right after I get my annual microdebrasion and it is amazing how it calms the skin. If you are new to this, I suggest you to use up at least the whole 30 US pack first time and then you can use them whenever your skin needs extra boost to maintain the result.

The price in US is ridiculous. 30 ampules is sold for $80. I usually get my supply from my friend in Germany. 50 ampules is sold for $49 euro.

I LOVE THIS. I use the ampules every night before bed instead of moisturizer and it has been incredible for my skin. In 4 weeks...my skin is like new. The small packaging travels well and it is extremely easy to use. It is a natural product and it feels like it. So worth the money and a quality product that works.

This is an amazing product. I felt like i was putting water on my face and it absorbs really fast into the skin. The amazing thing is that in the following morning, i get an even toned skin, smaller pores and best of all, the face oil was well balanced! where it was formerly dry, it was balanced, and also for the really oily areas! Noticed the change just after 1 night. Am still in the midst of the whole treatment. Would have given it a 5, but i really dun like the packaging. I understand it is for hygiene, and i can break it ok, BUT you have to tap the liquid out (consistency is like water, so can't flow out easily) of the broken ampoule onto the palm and that's where the sharp broken part of the ampoule is!

To sum this product in one word, this is rubbish. I used this product only for a few days and stopped using it cause it made me break out a bit. Maybe, I'm one of the unlucky ones. Also, this is a very expensive product considering the main ingredient is water and rose water! I paid £16!!!! Why does the packaging have to be so difficult. You have to break the glass to use the product.

this ampules are amazing ! i had avoided buying dr. h products because of the price, until i ended up temporarily working as a rep for them several years ago. i got the chance to try everything, and the ampules shocked me! i have very sensitive skin, and they are absolutely wonderful for improving the texture and color of skin. my face is usually pinkish, and they even out my skin tone- also help to clear up blemishes, and work great in conjunction with the cleansing cream. although the packaging can be difficult (and on two occasions i actually crushed the glass trying to open them- use care with these!) i think they are worth the money if you have sensitive skin issues.

I love these little ampules, they work like a miracle on my sensitive, rosacea-prone skin. They are somewhat spendy, but considering what they are made of (pure, organic botanicals) and compared to the cost of similar dept. store treatments, they are well worth the $$. I purchase at the Health Food Store, but learned about the entire Dr. Hauschka line from a wonderful esthetician, so I know which products to select for my skin type. It's better to do the entire treatment (10-30 days) but I find even 1 or 2 nights helps calm down my skin. The glass ampule is a bit tricky; I tap down the liquid by flicking my finger against the glass, then quickly snap off the top. (It takes a bit of practice.) I keep these in stock at all times.

I really like these. Used in place of moisturiser at night - the 'N' is for night. They soothe my very sensitive skin and seem to calm down any redness or irritation. I'd love to use these every night but they are quite expensive.

I have used 3 sets of these now. I first got them in the summer because I was new to using retin a micro and was using too many other harsh products and my skin was an irritated mess. The first night I used these I woke up and my skin looked a million times better. The liquid has a faint rose scent and is very soothing to "press" into the skin. It absolutely helped with irritation, redness, and basically returned my skin to "normal". This brand is not cheap, and that is my primary complaint. I would definitely use these again if my skin became extremely irritated, but for me it is an "as needed" splurge

Glass ampules of a watery clear liquid. To be used when skin is unsettled (seasonal changes, after illness or allergies.) Good for sensitive skin. S is for sensitive skin, N is to normalize. The glass ampules are a bit annoying; have to break the neck on them, and be careful!-- because a tiny fragment of glass can occasionally remain. Works in place of moisturizer morning and night. Not cheap, but did settle my skin after 10 days.
