This was my first Sephora purchase a few years ago. It's absolutely beautiful and the colors work very well!
The blush is pigmented and is too much for day time. For going out it's perfect, but I need to blend blend blend. When I do a dance performance, it's PERFECT!
The eyeshadows look very well put on, and are great for day or night looks. I use the lighter colors to highlight any look I'm going for. I love LORAC palettes, they are such a great bargain for what you get!

Love this palette. The browns, shimmers, champagnes, and gold colors are beautiful. High intensity pigment. Use this palette the most out of all my eyeshadows and palettes. The blush is a beautiful color too. Rivals Nars Orgasm in quality and shade. If I only had to take ONE eyeshadow item with me (not that i ever do) this would be it for sure!
(Not that im big on packaging but mine came with an embroidered gold fabric cloth which is very chic for sure)

I really love this palette. The colours are great neutrals with shimmer. It seems like there are a trio of warm neutrals and a trio of cooler ones. I especially love the soft, warm brown (middle, top row). The blush has a soft, bronze quality.
These colours look great on all skin tones. I'm a pale, neutral (NW15 is closest) and these are all super-wearable. But I've loaned it to friends with deeper skintones and they've looked fab too. A truly winning combination here.

I love this palette! I swear I already did a review on this but it's mysteriously dissapeared...Anyway, I have FFF/MMM olive skin and initially I was worried this palette would be too warm. Not so! The only shade I dont love is the gold one, but I like it ok :). Every shade is shimmery and can be mixed and matched for multiple looks. Fantastic pigmentation and great lasting power. The texture actually reminds me of older stila shadows as far as softness and pigment goes. The blush is super pigmented but so pretty. This is seriously a great value for the array of shades and quality of the items. The only issue I have is that the brush it comes with, which the bristles are very soft themselves, has kind of seperated. The flat side has detached. Besides that I am 100% happy with this and will look into other LORAC products!

Gorgeous palette. I dont even know whether i should really describe the shades since the first reviewer included accurate pics. This palette is a fantastic set of warm nuetral shadows. You get 6 shadows and a blush, all full size, for $37 in a sparkly palette.
The shadows include, Enlighten, Celebrity, vintage, star quality, designer, and stylist. The shades rage from two shimmery highlighters in creams and sheer gold, shimmery lid shades in beige and copper and shimmery crease shades in taupe and chocolate with a shimmery true medium peach blush. All are nicely pigmented, glide on smoothly, overall excellent quality. It is a warm brownish palette though, so if you prefer other colors, this may not be for you. On my nc30 light olive complexion, this is FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is THE neutral palette! i dont need any more neutrals. It comes with 6 eyeshadows and one cheek color. they are very pigmented and soft very similar to stila eyeshadows. Its shimmery but not chunky glittery. i loove it! here are some swatches:

Everyday when I use this palette I think about how I need to log on and review it already, so that I can pass this awesome product on to anyone who may be on the fence. So here is my honest opinion.
Do not walk, but run to Sephora and get it. And if you are like me in the unfortunate position of not having a Sephora nearby to run to, open another window and get your butt to Sephora.com and order it right bleeping now!!!!!
I ordered it unseen (not counting csdev's awesome pics below!) and am so happy with it. LORAC eyeshadow is beyond other brand IMO in pigment, blendability, and just all out in your face gorgeousness.
I must disagree that the blush is too shimmery as someone said below. If you use the right brush and apply just a touch of it (for fair skin) it is just..perfection ..but the wrong brush might make you look sort of clownish. (for reference I use my Stila #24 double sided illuminating powder brush). The tools matter too, but that's another review.
I also must say that this is now my second LORAC palette and the quality of this product really makes me want to throw out all of my other shadows (and I'm an eyeshadow addict). Really. It's that dang good.
Awesome product, beautiful packaging, wonderful price. It's rare to get such perfect quality in a beauty product these days. Get it today!

So, I too, love this palette. I debated it for weeks; I tried to order it, but it was sold out. Tried again after they e-mailed me it was back in stock--but no, it wasn't. Anyway, I found it WAS in stock while aimlessly browsing the Sephora site last week, and ordered it. I found glowing reviews from someone's blog, because I think there may not have been any MUA reviews at that time.
Anyway, this is beautiful! I just got it today, so haven't experimented with all of the shades yet, but I know I'll keep this. (I returned the Croc Palette, because even though I am blue-eyed with warm-toned fair-medium skin, it was too warm even for me!) But Best Dressed is perfect. I definitely agree that cooler tones might want to stay away, but this should definitely work on warm-neutral ladies.
I was really worried about the shades being too similar from the Sephora picture (except for the middle bottom one, which looked yellow on their site!), but they are really nicely varied--as evidenced by the prior reviewers' pics and swatches! I do think that the bottom right shade would make a good liner (none of the Croc shades were dark enough to line for me), although I haven't yet tried it.
Anyway, this really is a fabulous deal. The packaging is beautiful; the shades are gorgeous, and would probably work on at least 2/3 of us out there. If you're debating, give it a go! You can always return it or swap it away if it doesn't work for you!

Unfortunately, I have to be the lone dissenter with regard to this palette. As the previous reviewers have stated, the packaging is pretty to look at and the pigmentation of the shadows and blush is good, especially if you like noticeable shimmer and frost finish in your eye shadows. Also, six eye shadows and a blush for $37 is a decent price. So why the low rating? Only two lippies from me, mainly due to the fact that this palette is simply not compatible with my pale cool toned skin (NW15). All the shades in this palette were far too warm, the lighter ones had too much yellow-gold tones, the deeper ones had too much coppery-reddish tones. The blush turned an unflattering orange, even with a very light hand, so overall this palette unfortunately is a complete no go for me. Good thing is that I have a friend with warm olive toned tan skin and I created a nice look on her using the shades from Best Dressed, so the palette found a loving home after all. My recommendation: If you're cool toned, better try before you buy.

Fabulous fabulous palette. I love Lorac e/s because they are so pigmented and wear well. The only thing I don't care for is the blush which is too shimmery for me. There is a gold e/s in the palette that is to die for.
Get it.

I LOVE this palette!!!! It has gorgeous shimmery neutral colors to make a pretty day time look or a smoky sexy night look. At first I was questioning the blush; its a darker, highly pigmented rosy-bronze color, but its grown on me. I use just a little bit and it looks much better then I anticipated. All of the colors in the palette have lots of pigment so its really worth your money. Only $37!! Thats a bargain for 6 eye shadows and a blush, all of good size too, its quite a big palette. The packaging is GORGEOUS. Its a cool woven fabric with gold glimmer mixed in, the package actually reminds me of Miu-Miu designer prints. I feel so glamorous pulling it out of my purse! I was very impressed with this and makes me want to buy more LORAC products. The colors will definitely come in handy when I do my friend's makeup because these colors look good on all complexions! LOVE IT!!

This palette is awesome and definitely worth the money! I believe any skintone can wear these neutral eyeshadows and blush -- even though they are highly pigmented and have a great color payoff, they can still be applied sheer (without color sacrifice). All the colors have shimmer, so if you don't like that- then this won't be for you. Everyone else won't be disappointed!

I purchased this palette sight unseen from Sephora. When I received it, I was a bit disappointed because it looked warmer than I was expecting. However, it works surprisingly well for me (cool-toned PPP). The shadows are nicely pigmented and on the warm side of neutral (a couple of them are warmer than the others), but they blend beautifully and can be applied sheerly or a bit heavier if one wishes. I imagine the colors would really pop next to blue eyes and anyone with a neutral/warm skin tone. The blush is too warm for me, but I can make it work if I apply it lightly and use another blush with it. The packaging is pretty and comes with a double-ended eyeshadow brush. Overall, I'm very pleased with Best Dressed and would definitely repurchase it.
