I got this as a free birthday gift from sephora last month and I completely love it. I got the original clear treatment aswell as the rose tinted treatment. I honestly prefer the clear one as the rose tinted one is just a bit too red and dark for my skintone. I love to use this throught the day aswell as at night before bed. I wake up and my lips feel so hydrated! It`s a bit expensive for a lip treatment but this stuff is so great so I would probably repurchase when I run out. I would recommend this to anyone with super chapped lips.

This "tint" made me look super orange. Don't use this in the winter when you are at your lightest shade because it will not look pretty! If you want to use it when you are a bit tanner or have naturally dark skin then blend, blend blend. Only use a pea-sized amount and work it in with a make-up sponge!

Nice tinted moisturizer. Luckily, its my skin shade...since they only have one shade which is light/medium. It has SPF 20 which is a plus. I believe this is discontinued.

I picked this up on a whim when it was on sale for like $3 at Ulta, used it a couple of times but it was winter and a few shades too dark. I recently dug it out of my kit when i ran out of my favorite foundation for when i'm tan. (i'm about an nw 30 in summer)
Surprise! A perfect match! I wasn't expecting much in quality but when i applied it i got great coverage for a TM, smooth application with my fingers and a soft dewy glow that i love. I popped on some concealer and bronzer and went about me day, once again not expecting much in terms of staying power and not looking greasy. (I'm a Capricorn what can i say! Skeptic!) A few hours later i glanced in the mirror and my skin looked....perfect. Almost weirdly perfect! Smooth, dewy, sun kissed. I'm so sad that my tan is quickly fading and this only comes in one color, i'll use it when i self tan, and for vacations. Snatch it if you can find it!

thiss is the best coverage tinted moisturizer for sure. it covers well and gives you a nice glow. but its border line between glowey and greasy. i love this stuff personally for me right now in hot weather. but i think that this could easily make someone orangey tinted. it only comes in one color. and right now it workss for me because its summer and i have a tan but if i get ligghter i will defently be orange. i would give this a higher ratign because it works really good for me. but the fact that it only comes in one color and its not a very universal color.nand that it can appear greasy probably isnt a good thing. i find if you use a damp sponge you can avoid that though. good product. you might want to check the color before you put it on your face though if your very light. also the price retails for like 15$? but i got mine for cheap at tj max.

i bought this at my local tj-maxx for $4 dollars and i had heard of the brand before, so i decided to try it. i got light-medium, which is a bit dark for me becuase it has no color sample on the packaging...anyway, it goes on smoothly and stays on for about 7 hours. if you apply too much it will leave you looking quite orange. a little goes a LONG way, i use about 1/4 of a dime amount for my whole face. dosn't cover my huge pores, but nothing will. i will buy again! great for summer! i

i just bought this today
it was 4 dollars and i sampled it on my hand and loved the texture
it looked very nice on my skin tone
its a similar shade to my cargo bronzer
i tried some on my skin before i went in the shower and it felt great
im gonna have to use it alot more to really find out if i like it but im not picky
if it breaks me out though i will stop using it
summer is approaching and this will be great for running out and not wanting to use foundation

hope i like it!!!!!

UPDATE::::: it works nice .. its a little too dark and i have learned A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY .. to apply it i dab a little on my fingers and lightly massage it into my face section by section
this will not suit people with lite skin tones
after running out of this i may try a new tinted moisterizer even though this one was great for the cheap price of $4

It's a tinted moisturizer so I did not expect flawless coverage. It will not cover blemishes or pores, if that's what you're looking for. This TM is ideal for those who just need a more even skin tone. I like that it's a moisturizer with SPF. The tube packaging is pretty good, I can control how much I need to squeeze out of it. This is something I will use if I just have to get out of the house and run errands.

Update (04/06/09) --- I'm liking this TM. It feels so light yet I cannot complain about the coverage & the "just right dewy finish" is awesome. For reference, I'm an NC30 & the Sugar Light to Medium is a perfect match. I don't think it's too expensive for the amount of product that you get.

I got this at sephora in sale for $14. It is a nice tinted moisturizer but a bit too dark for my skin tone,so I'm waiting until summer so I can use it. I would't buy it again because there are better tinted moisturizers out there and for a lot less.

i never leave the house without applying on my foundation. i have really sensitive and acne-prone skin and have lots of old scars on my face. i've always wanted to try using a tinted moisturizer instead of foundation, thinking it would be lighter. after purchasing this, i applied it on my face. it seemed pretty thick and reminded me of the chanel foundation i normally use. the coverage isn't that great. maybe it's just cause the colour isn't exactly the colour of my skintone. i also found that after half a day my skin would dry out in areas. this product didn't really work well with my skin type but it's definitely worth a try. it really wasn't that expensive when i bought it from sephora. i'll probably give it another try sometime this week. will update after.

A sweet swapper included a sample packet of this, it does not have a color call out, and it appears to only come in one shade, lucky for me it is the exact color of my skintone, so it blended into my face perfectly. as others said, it is THICK- and the coverage is much more like a foundation than a tinted moisture/spf lotion, so that may account for the negative feedback this baby is getting. i no longer use foundation it is all about the tinted SPF- one step is better than two for me. i love that it is oil free, and i love that it is not animal tested, so i'm a big fan. i dont know anything about Sugar cosmetics, this is my first time trying anything from them, but this was a happy surprise!

I tried a sample of this and even though I will not be buying it for myself, I would recommend to someone else. The main reason I would not buy it is the color...I have pale, olive-toned skin and it was both too dark and looked orange on me. However, I think that it would work well for light to medium skin tones that are very warm & peachy.
The moisturizer is thick and dries fast to a nice matte finish. The coverage is very impressive for a tinted moisturizer....it really evens the skin out. I did find it to get quite shiny later on in the day after being out in the sun, so it's only so-so for oil control.
I think this would be great for the beach or any time where you don't want heavy makeup but need sun protection. If you have very oily skin like me, then this probably isn't for you either.
All in all, a decent product, but it doesn't suit my specific needs.

LIke many of the other reviewers here, I got this as a sample. Too bad the shade made me look like an Oompah-Loompah, because the texture of the product itself was nice, I like a thicker moisturizer with sunscreen.
Since it is not available in any other shade, I won't be buying this product. Even if they come out with other colors, $28 seems kind of high for 1.3oz of moisturizer...

Ugh and double ugh. I got a sample of this with an order, and tried it twice with no luck. The color was a little off for me (I got a medium and I need a lighter shade), but that wasn't the issue. It felt a little *too* thick for a tinted moisturizer. Also, I got water on my face and I could see a streak where the product came off. To me, it felt more oily than other tinted moisturizers I've tried, even though it's oil-free. I only used it a second time because I wanted to take advantage of the SPF, but overall I was NOT impressed with this.

This is a really great tint. I actually use this as a foundation and just put some powder on top to set it. Even so, it is not heavy or greasy like some foundations can be. Everything about this is perfect (except that by the end of the day I have a little shine breakthrough on my forehead--but that happens no matter what I use). It does not make my skin oily and so far no breakouts. This replaces the tint I was using before (philosophy supernatural poreless flawless cream) because it gave me some pimples. Fabulous product, and not too expensive because you don't have to use much to cover your entire face!

I tried this today. It came with my beauty.com order. It is matt and covers WELL. It stayed matt and not at all greasy. The color of my sample was a PERFECT match for my skin tone (Medium olive). I put my chanel matt powder over it in the morning and it didnt budge all day.
I will buy this when I run out of my Dior Forever.
This is definately a worthwhile product, however Im not sure about the rest of the brand...

I love this stuff. It is definitely more like a foundation and it matches my medium olive skin tone quite well. By the end of the day I did have a somewhat oily forehead, but it's nothing that a little powder couldn't fix. My skin looked flawless and smooth. Will definitely repurchase.

I got this as a sample and I really like it, the only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because its got parabens in it. The consistency is more of a foundation than a moisturizer, which is fine with me, it also provides good coverage with no white look from the spf 20. The shade matched my skin perfectly (Medium Olivey) but it also looked fine on my sister in law who has very pale skin. Maybe she didn't put as much on. I like this much better than the Juice Beauty SPF 30 that I bought, that one is more greasy which makes me sad, because its all natural! So if you don't care about parabens, you should get this product, its great!

If you want a tinted moisturizer with coverage, then this is a good pick, Prior to this, i used stila, but it's coverage was too sheer. With this, i just dot a bit on and rub in and don't need a foundation or much concealer, i would repurchase. One negative is that it only comes in one color, but i assume sugar will come out with additional color choices.
