I love these colors, beachy and beautiful on. I mix the colors and love the result no matter what colors I've used. the tin is cute but not really high quality since it's an exp product. kinda wish it was harder to get into, if my 2 yr old ever gets ahold of this it's toast! would re-purchase, thinking of looking at their ls's because I looove these colors!

I paid $12 for this during Sephora's half-price closeout of Cargo merchandise -- that's about $6 too much. Only the darkest color shows as pigment on my lips, and keep in mind that I'm pale (NC10) and my lips are only moderately pigmented. The other three colors are essentially whitish shimmer that needs to be reapplied often.

And you don't even get that much! That huge tin conceals the fact that the gloss pans only go down half the depth.

The one saving grace is that the gloss itself is not that sticky -- I don't end up pulling my hair off my lips every two minutes. But other glosses manage that feat. This is a big "meh."

Pretty colors, all some sort of neutral pink ranging from very frosted to deeper, and non shimmery. The texture is light, not sticky. The container, while cite, sucks. I hate having to stick my finger in there, so I use a lip brush, but I hate having to carry a lipbrush to be able to use the product. I got this as part of a set, and would probably not have purchased on it's own just because of the packaging. but now that I have it, I like it. This is a super wearable product.

GORGEOUS colors, but as is the problem with Cargo, very little staying power. And I'm not crazy about appying the gloss with my finger. (What do you do? Wipe it off with a tissue each time?) As for the tin, at least once the top has come off in my bag.

BUT I will buy it again as the colors are so beautiful, I'm willing to put up with everything else, and that's saying a lot.

I got this in a swap. I haven't used Cargo glosses in a while, in part because of the somewhat annoying tin packaging and also because they aren't as long-lasting as a MAC lipglass or Chanel glossimer. However, the texture is creamy, and it gives a beautiful shimmer that is not plasticky looking. The previous reviewer has described the shades well. My fave is the peachy shade - makes my lips look plump and pretty. I hope they will make a Pursegloss in that shade!

There is no surprise in regards to the lip gloss - the same formula of all Cargo's lip glosses which I do love - never sticky even remotely and very soft and shimmery. South Beach consists of - a very light peachy color, a pearly light pink, and a light dusty rose and one darker neutral pink. Since Im in a sort of nude lip phase I do like the color offerings for that. I always wish though that Cargo would make their glosses just slightly more pigmented - the darker ones are but the lighter ones all seem to often go on clear which defeats the point of having all the different shades. It is a good gloss to use overtop of lip color or things like that though and although its true they dont have amazing staying power they dont create that white gunk inside your lips that the stickier and more long lasting glosses tend to do! Besides - Im a lipgloss junkie so I dont mind applying it 20 times a day - in fact I look forward to it lol.
