This shampoo didn't volumize my hair at all; in fact, it made it soft and flat.

At first it made my hair feel really nice and clean. I don't have dandruff but I have dry skin including my scalp which cause it to itch and flake. It didn't volumize my hair but made my scalp feel nice. Currently I've noticed that my hair has gotten a lot thinner so I won't be repurchasing. I don't suggest using this product for too long but it was nice in the beginning.

The outside packaging was good,and it came in lots of different sizes of bottles.Not good for travelling though.It was like any other Head and Shoulders bottle I guess...I remember it being quite cheap which is good too! When I washed my hair,Immediatley saw a clearer scalp.I dried my hair upside down and normally it only works for about 20 minutes before dying down..but this time it lasted for hours! It is good if you want to curl your hair and have volume in afterwards.My hair is very thick so it was good (: Thumbs up!

tried other head & shoulders but this one is perfect for my hair. I do have dandruff and use this at least every other day, no more dandruff. this product doesn't leave a lot of buildup on my hair surprisingly, does give my fine hair more volume and it smells really good. Really inexpensive, love it!

I have thin hair that tends to fall flat. My scalp is also itchy and i heard that head and shoulders was the cure. When i tried this at first it made my hair a bit greasy. As i kept trying this i started to see great volume in my hair. Sadly the itching just got worse and my hair started to break at the ends. I wish there was one perfect shampoo.

I dont have dandruff, but i recieved this in the mail as a sample so i used it everyday for 2 1/2 weeks, made my hair incredibly glossy and shiny, think i might buy for a once a week deep cleaning for scalp, or for times when i have alot of product in hair and want a clean scalp, it seems like it would be too drying as an everyday shmp/cond, but i loved how glossy shiny and soft my hair looked, made my dark brown hair shine with different tones of brown, really picked up my color and undertones nicely. Right now my color is natural, not chemically treated, i think it would strip the color out of color treated hair, im planning on coloring my hair darker, and i wont be using this just incase it does strip the color or make it fade! But a must have for everyone with natural color in hair, maybe perfect for natural and color treated blondes to keep brassiness away.

I don't really have a problem with ongoing dandruff per se, but I happen to live in a region with very cold and dry winters, and have been commuting back and forth on a regular basis to a place with humid, mild, temperate winters. Due to this, the skin on my scalp has taken a beating, and is very dry in some spots, and feels extremely tight and itchy. This shampoo has really worked well, and I don't have the scalp tightness or itching anymore. As an added bonus, it seems to give my hair quite a bit of lift and bounce and using volumizer or mousse is optional. The shampoo cleans very well, doesn't leave my hair dry at all, and has a nice, fresh smell. I will continue to repurchase.

I chop and change shampoos usually but always have Head and Shoulders in the waiting. Have used this since i was a child and its such a good shampoo... you really notice the difference after a few washes if you're prone to a bit of dandruff now and again.
It leaves hair looking so shiny and silky, though the reason i knock a point off is because this one is supposed to add extra volume.. but because i have heavy, naturally straight black asian hair, it doesn't seem to be any different from other Head and Shoulder shampoos really. Though i'm sure that people with hair a bit finer will be able to experience the full benefits of this shampoo.

I bought this shampoo because it was cheap and I didn't have much money at the time and it said it was volumising. I have very fine flat hair and if I use a moisturising type shampoo it sticks to my head like a pancake. This shampoo was amazing it lwft my hair feeling so clean smelling fresh soft and when I blowed dried it the frizz was gone but it had body and movement. Basically it felt like the shampoo had stripped all the build up of the nasty products from my hair and given it a new lease of life. I used this in conjunction with the head & shoulders volumising conditioner and can fully recommend them both. Try them you may be suprised.

I only use Head & Shoulders to wash my Hair and I dont need conditioner afterwards. This stuff is moisturizing enough on my hair!!!!!!!!!!! Doesnt matter whut version of Head and Shoulders it is..as long as it says...HEAD & SHOULDERS!!!!!!!!!!! Period! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My HG and wont use anything else. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND GETS RID OF DANDRUFF BUT LEAVES UR HAIR VERY NICE!!!!!!!!!!! Will buy it Forever!! Thank you Head & Shoulders!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I haven't used this shampoo in awhile, but I remember it gave me great hair. I tried it after noticing a few flakes and was super happy to see the volumizing variety. It made my hair full, soft and shiny. It also seemed to do something to my hair texture, which I really liked.
I was SO suprised and impressed.
The main drawback for me is being seen buying it. :) It seems like such an old-school brand.
I really must pick up another bottle soon!!

Love this stuff! It doesn't strip my hair of color, and I really feel that it gives my hair volume. I have a dry scalp, and this keeps those annoying flakes at bay. I mix the use of this with other shampoos but I always have better hair days when I use Head & Shoulders. Great drugstore shampoo, soft 'n shiny hair...yay :)

these shampoos are in the market for sooo long, the shampoo is good, really controls dandruff since i have this problem for ever, but it softens the hair so much that my hair will lose any bounce and volume, i have a natural black very straight smooth hair, so i'm guessing if you have dry, rough tangled hair you will really make benefit from this shampoo.for me, my hg shampoo is l'oreal elvive shampoo which is irreplacable for me.
