OK, so I read on the blog "Girls of a Certain Age" (by the former editor of Lucky magazine) that this was one of her favorite inexpensive products. Well, actually she was talking about the "regular" Voluminous mascara, but when I got to CVS, this one was on sale. So I figured, what the heck, I'd give it a try. There was one left, in brown, so I bought it.
Now I am picky about mascara, and have not bought a "cheap" one for a while. But this mascara is AWESOME. No clumps, goes on easily and really pretty, and lasts all day without flaking or smearing if I happen to rub my eyes. I've been using it for about a month now, and it's still nice in the tube and on the brush. This just may become my new go-to mascara.

FAVORITE mascara! Saw this on Beautypedia reviewed by Paula and she said it was a BEST product and I AGREE! This doesn't clump and made my lashes so long but still soft. Way better than Maybelline Full & Soft which I returned. I don't get the low ratings .. this is absolutely perfect. I hope they don't discontinue this I will be very unhappy!

This is my absolute favorite mascara. That being said, I hate it for the first week, to week and half of first use. It's just too wet. Once it has time to set a bit it is fantastic! It gives me CRAZY long lashes that are well defined. The brush is amazing and grabs every lash, and the formula is awesome as well. It wears great all day long holding the curl, but also without flaking. I don't have any problem getting it off with my face wash either. I have had a hard time finding recently which scares me a bit.
So in short- awesome mascara for silly length without causing clumpy spider lashes, just have to give it a week to set up.

This goes on really wet and clumps up right away, plus it is really hard to wash off even with eye makeup remover. The only thing I like about this is the brush.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Brown
I have fallen in love with this mascara. I started using it for a while, then lost it, then bought another one recently. My lashes go on for MILES with it!! Some people say it flakes, but it doesn't do that for me. However, to reach the length I like to have, I use a lot of mascara. This one doesn't clump too bad.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Brunette Eyes: Green
It does look nice and natural, but it flakes which is a dealbreaker for me. There's nothing more unattractive than black flakes all under your eyes :-/
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Coarse Eyes: Brown
pros: the brush comes out with just enough mascara on it... you can apply several coats without it clumping.. it made my lashes CRAZY long and beautiful!!
con: very drying.. my eyes started to water (because of my contacts), and this stuff just flaked off
If only the formula was a little more moisturizing, I would definitely buy it again.

I actually got this from my mom who goes through makeup like crazy (she'll use it twice and move onto the next interest), so I guess I'm lucky enough to try a lot of makeup without having to spend any mula :) Anyhow, I didn't think this mascara was THAT bad but it definitely was NOT a show-stopper. It does separate your lashes and never clumps, and also does not smudge...but I don't think it should be under the "Voluminous" category. It definitely DOES NOT volumize in any way. Lengthen?...maybe. Keep a curl?....nope, not for my typical short, straight Asian lashes anyway. If you're looking for that everyday, natural look that won't smudge and you're just aching to try this for some reason, go for it. But honestly, there are far better mascaras out there.

Here's a cautionary tale for mascara shoppers: check your selection twice, nay, THRICE before checkout!
I picked up Voluminous Naturale thinking I'd picked up Voluminous Full Definition (one of my top 5 mascaras of all time, btw).
I opened the package one morning as I was rushing to get ready for work, and didn't realize my mistake until I saw the brush. Still, I figured that since it was a L'Oreal mascara, which are usually among my favorites, it couldn't be all that bad.
Was I ever wrong. It took three coats of this to even give the appearance that I was wearing mascara. When it dried, the feeling was anything but "naturale;" while most L'Oreal mascaras have a soft, fluffy feeling on the lashes after they dry, Voluminous Naturale felt hard and cakey.
By the middle of the day, I had flakes and little pieces of mascara all around my eyes. So, I thought, at least it will be easy to remove. ALAS. I had to use baby oil AND cold cream to get this awful stuff off my eyes.
I can say without reservation that this is one of the WORST mascaras I've ever used.

so my mum got this and i tried it. it's okay. nothing big. theres better things out there. i guess this is better for sensitive eyes like it says.

I was a reluctant to try this mascara because the original Voluminous was just horrible on me and the reviews are not that excited over this product. However, this was a really nice surprise. I love it! It goes on well, it defines my lashes, it doesn't smudge, and it makes my eyelashes long and fluttery. I don't like clumpy lashes, so this is perfect for me. I like the wide-eyed and awake look lol. It is tougher to wash off than other mascaras i own, but it's been really awesome for the summer. It doesn't melt off and smudge all over the place like other mascaras. I just wash my eyes with a gentle eye makeup remover and it's not a big deal. I just read here that Voluminious has been discontinued, i hope that's not the case with this one!

I love this mascara! I have short, stubby eyelashes and other mascaras never help with lengthing my lashes. This mascara is great because you can add more coats without it being clumpy whatsoever. Awesome mascara to add volume, length, and wont leave smudges or flakes!
Age: 25-29 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Black, Wavy, Medium Eyes: Brown
I really like this mascara as it doesn't smudge or give me panda eyes at the end of the day. Its not a WOW mascara, but it gives the natural look I like and price is reasonable. I definitely see this as something I would re-purchase.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Brunette, Curly, Coarse Eyes: Hazel
Great for defining lashes. Awful at removing. This is not a waterproof or water resistant mascara - yet you need to use a eye makeup remover to get it off completely. (I try to avoid that extra step.) So, no, I won't purchase again. Just OK - I wonder why it's called "naturale"?
Age: 25-29 Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
I loved this mascara the first time I used it. It made my lashes long, defined and sky-high. However, I soon realized how quickly it dries, which is great for setting the curl, but awful if you accidentally get mascara on your eyelid (I always do). The mascara is so tough to wipe off your skin and I noticed how dry and brittle my lashes felt when I was wearing it. It does a great job at lengthening, but if you're looking for any real volume, this won't do the job. Great natural look if you are lucky enough to never make mistakes applying mascara.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This mascara goes on my list of mascaras that I will NEVER buy again. The comb barely deposits any mascara on my lashes and even though I did not use it that often, it dried up really fast. Sadly, a waste of money.

this stuff is nothing like the original voluminous brush and formula wise. it was too wet, didnt care for the wand, the black was gray, and didnt give me length or volume. not the worse but not the best.idk why i bothered to stray, back to the original voluminous!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This is a really good mascara if you want length for your lashes. It's a drugstore product, around 7-10 dollars, and has pretty nice packaging. It wasn't very clumpy for me at all, but it takes a while to fully dry. It's also pretty easy to apply for the lower lashes if you use it vertically, and the brush is very precise. However, I was disappointed because I want volume in my lashes, instead of lengthening. Still, it opens up and defines your eyes in a natural, subtle way. So this is a kinda okay product, but not something I'd buy again.

Horrible! Sticky going on and then difficult to comb through once it is dry. Flakes a lot. Weird, rubbery brush. Difficult to wash off. Yuck.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Blond, Straight Eyes: Green
Probably one of the best Mascara's for the lower lashes. I absolutley adore the wand of this mascara- it reaches every single tiny eyelash, leaving them looking perfectly sculpted and dark. I find many mascara wands are to bulky, or are just hard to work with. Before purchasing this on a whim (I figured why not for the $2.50 pricetag :P) I almost purchased a full size of MAC's Zoomlash (which is also fabulous for the lower lashes) after trying a sample size for awhile.I love how Naturale doesn't smudge at all, not even after a full day of wear. I will be repurchasing this once I run out- I also love this for blending my false eyelashes with my natural lashes, as the wand has plastic bristles. I'm so pleased with this mascara =)
