This is the only lotion let alone one with SPF that doesn't break me out. The only cons are that sometimes I feel it's not moisturizing enough in winter, it has no oil control which is not a con for me since I don't want anything preventing stuff from coming out of my pores personally, and the third is that it's hard to find this gentle classic version and there is a major difference between the two. I believe people have reviewed both kinds here, not sure. I order it on amazon and if it came in SPF 30 I would try that too.

This product, for around $10 for 4 ounces, has the potential to be perfect. It's very light and fluid and sinks right in without leaving residue. spf 15 protection is adequate for daily use. I cannot stand fragranced products on my face, so I appreciate the fragrance free formula. However, it makes me break out! My skin had been clear for a while, then I used this, and a couple of zits popped up. I checked it out on cosdna.com, and sure enough, there are a few acne causing ingredients in this formula. I will use it up on my arm and hands.

Good, reliable sun protection in a fairly lightweight formula. This probably will be too heavy for oily skintypes, but if your dry/normal/combo, you might love this! I have combo skin, drier in the cheeks, oily in the t-zone, so I don't use this in the peak of summer, but any other time of the year, it works great. The sensitive version uses in part Zinc Oxide, so you are getting protection from both UVA and UVB rays (so many s/s on the market fail at this). Also, it's fragrance free, and relatively cheap, so it's worth a shot!

I purchased this product after reading the great reviews and I am so glad I did. I love the way this moisturiser sinks in and doesn't leave a white cast like most moisturisers/sunscreen do.

I have combination skin really oily in the middle kind of dry on the sides and sensitive and acne prone all over. This product did no moisturizing at all and took a long time to absorb into my skin. the onlly reason i left a lippie is because it didn't irritate my skin and it wasn't greasy.

Provides very little protection. You need to wear at least spf 30 daily in order to prevent pre-mature aging. This product is not moisturizing whatsoever, so you will need to use a heavier moisturizer underneath. Also, this product also gave me a red rash that took weeks to clear up. Definitely do not recommend!

I have been using this moisturizer for about 10 years now. My mom gave it to me when I was in middle school and I have used it ever since. Occasionally I switch products but I always go back because they are never as good as Olay. This lotion is moisturizing but lightweight, not too expensive and does not break me out. It is perfect and I can see myself using it for many more years to come.

This is a pretty good daily moisturizer for those of us with combination and sensitive skin. I break out/get oily on my chin, am dry elsewhere, and prone to irritation on my cheeks and forehead. I used DDML for nine years and decided to try this because of the SPF and price factors.
The lotion absorbs quickly and is an okay base for makeup, though not as even as the DDML was. It does keep my skin from feeling dry all day long and has never irritated it at all. The SPF is low enough so that the lotion doesn't smell or feel like sunblock or cast a white color to my face. However, it can cause stinging/tearing up of the eyes if you use it in the eye area. It moisturizes pretty well, although I have noticed some flaky patches in the drier areas of my face.
This is a good, affordable moisturizer.
UPDATE: I have since switched to Simple Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 and prefer it to to the Olay (I have a review for it under the Simple Light Moisturiser). This stuff is good, but that stuff is superior.

I'm on my third bottle of the classic version. I have oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin that is under control due to Rx retinoid. This and Clinique's DDMG are the only moisturizers that I've liked enough to repurchase multiple times.
Pros: oil-free, fragrance-free, SPF 15, doesn't break me out, doesn't make me more oily, actually moisturizes my skin- even in the winter, layers well under makeup, travel-friendly packaging
Cons: none

In my opinion, this doesn't feel or smell like a sunscreen at all, and it's not greasy! It's perfect.
It's very gentle; doesn't irritate my skin at all. And unlike a lot of other moisturizers, this isn't extremely liquid-y, but it's not too thick - it feels like a lotion.
The only thing I don't really like about it is the bottle. It's not completely horrible, but I prefer pumps.

During the winter my sensitive, acne-prone skin gets really dry. This lotion doesn't break me out or irritate my skin. It doesn't leave me looking greasy like other sunscreen lotions do. All these things make it a great lotion for me. That said, it doesn't moisturize my skin as much as I had hoped. My skin is still a little dry. Maybe this lotion is better to use in the summer than in the winter. I recommend it for people who don't have problems with dryness. Those with dry skin might need to look for something else.

I have oily and dry skin during the winter time and this product doesn't hydrate my skin. Also, if you are using acne treatments on your face , this may be dehydrating for your skin. But I still used it by applying the moisturizer twice. So I am still finding a lightweight moisturizer with SPF in it that doesn't clog my pores ,doesn't break me out and hydrates my skin for the winter time.
But for the hot summer time, this product is great. Not too greasy and perfect amount of moisture. Usually products with SPF would have that sunscreen smell, but this doesn't, which I love!

3.8 stars!?? WHY?! I started using this in 2005 (ish)... adored it, then they started putting in octinoxate in there, which my skin didn't love... I wonder if this time period accounts for the lower rating. Sure enough, they took it out again (maybe a year or two ago) and I'm back to loving it! This stuff is a no-frills moisturizer. I wear it every morning underneath my makeup. I love the effect it has on my makeup finish. It never makes me breakout. If I'm washing my face multiple time a day for any reason (ie. changing makeup, worked out, etc), I always reapply it after I wash my face. My skin just loves it. It really has a positive effect on my skin's overall complexion. If I'm needing something super-moisturizing, I go for my marcuja oil. Packaging is very clean... basically the only part that becomes "contaminated" is what's coming out of the bottle.

Have used this on and off for many years. Just bought a new bottle tonight, and the label says "Olay Complete-all day moisturizer with sunscreen BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 15, sensitive." Very nice. Inexpensive too.

I really tried to make this work for me. It's not for people with oily skin. But I got a couple of cysts because of this. Some clogged pores too. It sucks. Someone help me find a decent moisturizer D;
UPDATE (3/12/13): Found out this wasn't the culprit for my cysts. However, it does lead to clogged pores if used at night (for oily-skinned, acne prone people). I recommend it only for day time. I actually love this now as it doesn't aggravate my skin.

I use the sensitive formula and it is my absolute HG moisturizer. It is cheap and effective and it has SPF, what more could you need? I use this all year, I have combination skin and this moisturizes without making my skin greasy. I would like a pump bottle, but the existing bottle is fine.

This was just about ok oil-wise for my oily skin. It would have been ok in winter, anyway, although perhaps too oily for summer. But it broke me out. Sigh. Not as quickly or as badly as some other products, but enough not to be able to use it. So I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who breaks out easily when trying new products, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with very oily skin. Shame, as I wanted to like it, especially for the price.

This is super greasy on my combination skin, it felt like I was wearing a thick mask! Also it made my skin sting very slightly. Will not use again. Olay is more miss than hit with me I am afraid!

-absorbs well
-does not irritate skin
- has a pretty 'sheen'/dewy look (not caused by any shimmer/glitter)
-SPF
Cons

I started using this product last summer and it helped my acne a lot! It also has SPF which is great for my fair skin. I noticed, however, that Olay changed the formula within the last few months. It just feels different, but it is still pretty effective for my sensitive, dry skin!
Edit: Isn't hydrating enough these days, *sigh. :/
