This is one of the most gorgeous polishes China Glaze has ever released. It is a stunning silver holo with a very strong rainbow effect, and in sunlight, it's just dazzling.


The formula is a bit watery and thin, so it takes 3 or 4 coats to get full coverage with no bald spots. It's a bit finicky to work with, but dries very quickly, which is a plus.


My main issue with OMG is that it hugs every peeled area and ridge on my nails. If my nails were in good shape, it would look much better, but as they are, I see every flaw when I wear OMG. I do not have this issue with other polishes in the OMG collection. In addition, this polish does chip quickly, but I attribute that to the fact that I don't wear base/top coat with it to keep the holo strong.

This is one of my favorite polishes. ever. Such a pretty color and it goes on great, dries super fast and basically is just the perfect polish. I put a coat of it on under other polishes to brighten them up, too! I feel as though i should really stock up on this.

I cant believe people said they wouldn't buy this polish again! What's not to love? Its silvery holo-y goodness! This polish is a beautiful, easy to apply linear holo and I'd buy it over and over if I could find more of them

From the pictures the holo is far more amazing than in person. Fair enough it is late fall in Canada. It looks lovely under the right lighting at the right angle, otherwise I am slightly disappointed with the holo effect. That being said it is very pretty, and I would have bought it regardless because I <3 holographics! I am going to put it away until the spring time and then hope hope hope the sunshine makes the difference ;o)

The holo effect is great, we have a lot of sun here all year long so it looks fantastic! I kind of like the color indoors too, it is a light grey with a bit of glow... but as a very light color it make me look tan, I don't really like that but its ok.

I LOVE THIS NAIL POLISH! This is one of my 2 favourite nail polish from this collection. Really pretty holographic result, makes you have disco nails hahah. Only complain for me is that it chips so easily

OMG I am so surprised at how DRAB this color is! The way it looks on my hands looks NOTHING like it does in these gorgeous uploaded photos. The holographic effect shows up very little in the sun, so I will still use it, but I'm very disappointed. Perhaps it'll look better when I have a bit of summer tan. On my pale winter skin it looks like a very boring & ugly shade of dull grey. Not flattering at all. I piled on several layers of Fairy Dust on top (micro-fine holographic glitter in a clear base) to jazz it up a little, which sparkled nicely after 4 coats. I used a basecoat that peels off easily, so my manicure lasted only 2 days. I don't blame the China Glaze, I blame the basecoat. Perhaps it would last longer with a sticky basecoat, which I'll try next time. What a sorry color. It doesn't pop the way the effect of the Kaleidoscope line does. I'm wearing Kaleidoscope Him Out right now & it's phenomenal. OMG is 50X more subtle & subdued than this (at least it is on me). I wouldn't buy it again. But I would buy more of the Kaleidoscope colors.

As soon as I saw these China Glaze holos I knew I HAD to have them! I've got 6 of them and am not disappointed with any of them! They go on a little uneven on the first coat but even out pretty well on the second. These holos have a 'chameleon-like' personality in that they can look rather plain in indirect lighting; OMG looks like a plain silver on my nails which is great cuz silver is one of my fave colors and it looks good on my nails anyway... but put them under full spectrum light or bright sunlight and BLAM! Glorious rainbow of colors! Seriously, I can't stop looking at my nails when I have this on! I'm in holo heaven! ;D

I don't seem to have any problems with chipping at all with these–or with ANY nail polishes for that matter. I think it has to do with using a good base coat and top coat. I've read not to use top coats with holos but I find one coat does not affect the appearance at all (but 2 definitely does!) I've had this polish on for 5 days and despite having a job where I'm typing all day long, I have no discernible chips or tip wear.

i love this! it's almost 2 diff colors. without direct light, it just looks like a gray polish. when light does hit this, its awesome. the pictures itself tells it.

I was completley mesmerized by the amazing pictures of this polish, that I had to order it immediately. This was one of my first holos, so I was super excited when I finally got my hands on it. I have tan skin, nc35 range, and on me, it looks like a frosty white/ silver. Indoors, it makes my hands look like an ill robot and washes me out. Outdoors, in the sun, is a different story. In certain angles and the way the sun hits this polish, it is a rainbow of colors. Even in the sun, it just doesn't "bling" enough for me, just a subtle holo. I was really hoping and expecting for more and this just wasnt' it. I am more impressed with the China Glaze Kaleidescope collection much much more. I am sure that OMG would look fab on fair skin, but it just didn't wow me on my tan skin at all.

This is my first holo. I was a diehard OPI creme fan until I met the nail board. Then one day, I just had to have a holo. A good one. I placed my first transdesign order to get this--the ultimate of holos--along with another $37 worth of stuff.
I like this a lot, it's basically a silver metallic with the sometimes benefit of reflecting the spectrum under the right light. I was pretty happy with it under fluorescent light, but it is dazzling under full sunlight. This is the crown jewel of this collection; buy it!

I thought this would be a good dupe for SH's Crystal Ball, one of my favorite colors which chips within an hour of applying. Unfortunately, it's not nearly as pretty, but it is holo and it does last much longer than SH CB. I would definitely buy it again.

I love China Glaze!!! Where I buy it to is only for about $3.
The holographic nail polishes are to die for.
When I first painted my nails I told anyone and everyone to check my nails out.
This line paints coats so smooth. I have problems with some other CG polishes going on clumpy or too thin.

This is my first holo nailpolish. I've never heard of these kinds of nail polishes until a few months ago, from you guys, the internetz! So I ordered this from 8ty8beauty (who are awesome by the way) and I was so excited when I got this. The color itself was a bit disappointing. It's a not-quite-silver, light gray kind of thing. But the holo effect is just so cool, I can't say I don't love this! I wish I'd ordered more so I could benefit from a nice color, and a cool sparkle... hmmmm GR8 looks good......

Love this product!! It lasted sooo long and is absolutely gorgeous! Very unique!! You can only notice the special "rainbow" details in a good light, which is the only downside. But it is always a gorgeous silvery color. I highly recommend this one as the standout of the OMG collection!

ChG OMG is totally eye-catching and funky. It is the sort of nail polish shade that I would hesitate wearing alone. It needs to have another nail polish companion on the nail to achieve a maximum wow-factor. ChG OMG is a holographic silver. It applies like a dream, opaque in one coat, and dries fairly quickly. During Halloween, I used Rimmel Black Lycra NP and ChG OMG on the tips. Talk about a flashy and fun manicure! In the sunlight, it was awesome. It seemed to reflect every color under the rainbow =D
