Lovvveeeee this color! It's pretty opaque and I really like the fact that it stains my lips once it wears off. Perfect color for spring & summer.

Love this lipstick! It's a MLBB shade and feels more like a gloss than a lipstick. It doesn't last very long, but that's true of most gloss-like MLBB colors. I do wish it was just a tad more opaque. If you're looking for a more opaque dupe, try Hourglass' lipgloss in truth.

I love NARS products, but this one just didn't work for me. Too pink.

But the quality, as with everything NARS, is awesome. Makes me sad, since I've wanted to try this for ages!!! However, I'll just stick to Stolen Kisses, and the myriad of other colors this brand makes that do work -

This is my first high-end (full priced) lip product. LOL. Uh-oh! Gateway lipgloss!

Awhile back I received a mini Nars lipgloss duo in a Sephora order. DV on one side & Striptease on the other. I liked it at the time but then it got pushed aside. I rediscovered this & loved it so much I went out to get the full size.
I am horrible at describing colors but this is a neutral/warm berry/red shade. Very wearable & *perfect* for fall. I am NW10, auburn hair & this works really well on me. And, bonus, this fades really evenly while leaving a slight stain. The consistency is of a liquid lipstick rather than a gloss. And this is not a gloss version of the Dolce Vita lipstick. The lipstick is much more sheer & warm toned. Which explains why all those DV dupes never worked on me but this does.
It's not a shade I would normally go for (I prefer bright pinks, reds, etc) but I'm so glad I gave this another try.

I got this product in a swap after lemming it for ages. Its the perfecr every day "dusty rose". Its a rosy pink with some brown. Not too much though! Its natural, neutral, sophisticated, and it ties any look together! It can be worn with intense smokey eyes as well as the everyday natural look. Highly reccomend my any skin tone!

I love this lip gloss! At first I was afraid this color was a little too pink, but it's a perfect rosy shade with no brown. I'm picky about the colors of my lip products and it's hard to find one that is not too brown or too maroonish but this is my new HD lip gloss. Plus it lasts for many hours and it can be applied lightly or full on super glossy and it perks up my face.

This must be one of my favorite glosses ever. I adore NARS lip glosses and all their other products. Dolce vita is a very beautiful dusty rose shade that I think looks gorgeous and very sophisticated on almost any skin tone. Very easy to apply, lasts forever on my lips. Itīs more like a liquid lipstick than lip gloss I would say...The package is very simple yet refined, topped with the beautiful NARS rubber cap. Love! As for the smell...well, this is not a MAC and it doesnīt smell really nice, but I donīt mind that. The only thing I would mention as a con of this product is the price. At $24 itīs not really a bargain, but since I exclusively use NARS lip glosses (threw all the other sticky, stinky, awful drugstore crap out of my makeup drawer) I dare to say that I would definitely repurchase this one.

This gloss is gourgeous as the lipstick itself. The colour is just perfect. Rosey, natural, my-lips-but-better, healthy... what else? Well, there is a "else"... because on top of all that, it doesnīt taste nor smell at all. Something that quite annoys me with Mac lippies. On the contrary, Nars are fantastic to wear because your nostrils are not full with any scent when you wear lipstick. Fantastic.

This is a nice accompaniment to Dolce Vita lipstick. The first time I wore it, I used the wand to put it all over my lips. This made it look too terra cotta-y and brown. It is extremely pigmented. Now I apply it by using my fingers to dab it on, and that way it's the same pretty color as the lipstick.
NARS's lipglosses have an inconsistent formula. Angelika & Wonder are moisturizing to my lips, but this is pretty drying. Not my favorite NARS product.

I am of Mediterranean and Hispanic descent, and I have a really hard time finding lip colors that work for me. Most colors are either too light or too dark for me. I was looking for a pretty pink that would look good either with a smoky eye or a more natural look. After trying on several colors, I found that "La Dolce Vita" is the perfect one for me. The color lasts surprisingly long, I only have to apply twice a day. It leaves my lips really moisturized too.

So, why the 4 stars instead of 5?? Because of the price! If it were 10 dlls. less this would be my HG of lip glosses!

UPDATE: If you are looking for a cheaper dupe of this product, go get LeGloss by L'Oreal in Really Rosé #156! (you can read a more thorough review there)

Dolce Vita is a beautiful creamy rose/mauve color that is neither cool or warm........it's both. I am very fair/cool and Dolce Vita looks very pretty, it does not have any brown color to it, I wouldn't buy it if it did because I can't wear brown colors they look awful on me.
The color reminds me of like a vintage color, something a woman would wear during the Victorian era, it's very sophisticated and feminine, it's a timeless color that I will always go back to for that classic look. This is a great all year round shade but would look best probably during the fall/winter months.

The color is absolutely gorgeous! - a pinkish, deep rose that's somewhere between neutral pink and soft rose. This color could definitely work as an everyday lip gloss for me. The color is opaque, which means it contains more color and is less sheer than other lip glosses. Consistency is moisturizing and soft. Not too sticky either. Great for spring/summer!

Love this lipgloss. The color is beautiful and perfect for me. I have olive skin on the lighter side. I also have fairly pigmented lips. This color is like a "my lips but better" for me. Super expensive which sucks, but a nice product to splurge on.

great everyday rose color. the texture is pretty sticky, which I like, since it seems to make the gloss last longer. I also like that the color is really opaque, this is more like a liquid lipstick than a gloss. I am also a fan of the packaging on these lipglosses which seems to keep them from having that gross buildup around the cap that seeps out.

DV is a very pretty deep rose, applies evenly, easy to spread, not sticky. I find that dark Nars lip gloss shades are generally better than the milky light colored ones, which tend to have unnatural color and settle into lip lines.

I've found there's a bit of a learning curve to this gloss. Previous reviewers were right - this definitely leans more toward liquid lipstick territory. It's quite thick and opaque, and isn't a lipgloss version of the famed Dolce Vita lipstick, but is rather a sister to it. It's more mauve than the lipstick, and deeper; I don't necessarily need precision to apply DV lipstick, but I'll be damned if I don't have a mirror nearby when applying DV lipgloss. I don't find it applies as evenly as I'd like. I also wish it was sheerer, and that it wouldn't transfer on my teeth so easily. Having said all these things, it's still pretty, but I doubt I'll rebuy - I prefer my glosses to be a little less high maintenance than this.

I was looking for an every day lipgloss but this looks too purple on my already pigmented lips. Makes me look more yellow toned as well (im nc 37-40) I returned it and bought scandal instead..

Dolce Vita blush is one of my favorites so I had high hopes for this gloss. Wrong! It was too thick, more like lipstick than gloss. Some may like that kind of consistency but it didnt work for me. Not with this color. I don't mind a thicker gloss but this was just all wrong for me and the color was not great on my skin tone. It came out too mauvey.
I'm glad that all of the NARS glosses are not super thick like this one. Maybe the consistency varies with different colors. I hate to give an NARS item such a low rating but nothing about this item worked for me

this lipgloss is definitely one of my favorites. the pigmentation and texture is perfect. when i apply this, i would put on a sheer layer and blot once. it's a bit too dark for me to wear on a casual day. i'm an nc30-35. it smells kind of like plastic, but i personally don't mind at all. the packaging is nice. i also own the lipstick which is much more sheer and wearable.

I had such high hopes for this lipgloss but was sadly disappointed. All you cool toned gals beware....this turns orange! The color is so pretty in the tube but it turned a funny shade of orange on my lips. Also, this gloss is extremly expensive and bleeds outside the lip line. I have never had that problem before. I do like most of NARS blushes but will not repurchase any of their lip products again. Too expensive and NOT worth it!
