This has been given a new look, and even different but worse content it seems. I always bought the original and thought it was absolutely perfect. Curved and smooth black lashes. Unfortunately, I bought two pieces in the belief that it was as good as the previous one. Oh no, it gives a lot of clumps on lashes, is very sticky. One must be prepared with a Topz. Going to buy Masterpiece Max now instead. I give it 2 lippies because the price is OK.

This is my absoulte favorite mascara! It gives voulme and beautifully curves the lashes, just how I like it! In the beginning when I got it, I tought it was kind of clumpy, but after a week, it gave me beautiful lashes! I've bought this product a couple of times, but have descided to stop buying it because max factor does animal testing, but besides of that, it's a great mascara!

This is a pretty average mascara, but I guess you are getting what you paid for, it's pretty cheap. More lengthening than volumising on my lashes, but it doesn't blow me away. Okay for a natural look, I use it for work. I like the brush for getting into the corner lashes though. Would not repurchase.

Clumps like mad, doesnt do much to thicken or curl my lashes.
Waste of money.

Absolutely the greatest mascara I've ever used. I use in brown because I'm very pale (and my lashes are straight and brown with blonde ends). It pushes the lashes up, it separates them and makes them look much more numerous than they actually are. This hasn't happened with me neither with Lancome, nor Dior, nor L'Oreal (nor MaxFactor Masterpiece for that matter). 2k curved has some magic in it.
The only "flaw" is that it doesn't do volume actually. It's my natural-not-overdone look. But I like to keep it that way, more lashes is better than several thick false looking lashes.

When I first started using it I found that it clumped, but if you don't rush while putting it on, it gives beautiful thick lashes that hold a curl quite decently! The curved brush doesn't bother me, I kinda like it. Easy to get corner lashes.

I olny bought this product because it was on clearance.. actually is really bad. I hated the brush, the aplication, the efect aaaaghh!! I have to work really hard to "achieve" the look I really want (dramatic). I personally have medium-long, thick and curly lashes, but this product seem no to amaze me.

i think this is a good mascara. it doesnt weigh down the curl of my lashes unlike L'oreal voluminous.

I used the product for one month, and it was not good at all.
I called to cancel my future orders. I was told that I would not receive any more orders.
The next month I receive an email stating my order has been shipped . . . WHAT?!
So, I hit reply and told them my orders were all canceled and that they better not have sent me an order.
I also stated that if my credit card was charged they better credit it immediately
Someone replies and says that my orders have been canceled and the product will not ship.
OK . . . I received seven emails stating that my orders have been cancelled which I found very odd b/c I didn’t keep sending them emails.
OH and then I received the order anyway and cannot send it back . . .
Do you know that last night it was found on my credit card statement that this company charged my credit card AGAIN~!!!!!
SO, that means I will probably receive more of their non-working product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This gives great volume and length considering what sparse eyelashes I have, but the brush picks up a lot of mascara at first. I think the curved brush is pretty useful in general.

This is a pretty decent mascara. Its pretty good in the volumizing department – doesn’t do much in the lengthening department though. It took me at least 10 uses to get a good feel on how this mascara works. I did notice that you need to work with it slowly to avoid clumping, because it will clump if you rush the process. I really think that’s it’s worth a 4 because it’s probably one of the only mascaras that is able to hold a curl properly. I would have given it a 5 if it doesn’t dry up so quickly! I’ve had this for 2 months and i think i can get a few more uses out of this before i have to throw it out.

This is a okay mascara it is cheap. There are days that it looks better than others. I know it is just my lashes. I will say that it does a good job on plumping!

i bought this with very high expectations, i thought the curved brush would be able to reach into the corners of my eyes and coat my lashes. the brush came out of the tube with clumps of mascara on it and did a terrible job grabbing hold of my lashes. this was a waste of money and i wont be trying the straight brush either.

Ahhhhggg what can I say…. This Is my first curved brush mascara I've ever tried, I'm the kind of gal who uses those mascaras with the traditional tapered bristles or fat bulky bristles. Anyway in an attempt to make my short, thin, straight lashes look decent I decided to give this mascara a try. I thought since it had a curved brush it wouldn’t be necessary for me to curl my lashes saving me some time in the morning ….but boy was I wrong! The formula is also very thick and clumpy. To get an OKAY result with this mascara I have to curl my lashes, wipe my brush against a tissue and then comb my lashes! So much for saving me time in the morning….sigh….

The mascara tube was great because it locks...However, it was pretty dry when I bought it. Also, it irritated my eyes really badly! All it did was give me decent length, but no volume.

I'm not sure if the straight brush is better, but I tried this one for the first time thinking a curved brush would somehow be better. First off, the tube was mostly dried out. The brush is also not made right, and it barely coats my lashes. Very akward to use. I ended up returning it to CVS because I could not get a descent coat of mascara out of this!

The curve of the brush is quite small and not shaped right so that it doesn't fit properly under my lashes to give them a decent coating.

I absolutely love this mascara! The consistency is just right -- not too runny and not thick. If I use mascaras that are too thin and liquidy, I always end up smearing my mascara into my eyelids (yes, I'm talking to you Maybelline Great Lash). Though they do allow me to apply multiple coats without getting clumps, I hate cleaning up the mess. In contrast, mascaras that are thicker and drier don't have this problem, but they do make my lashes clumpy and spider-like very easily. Max Factor's 2000 Calorie mascara is the best of both worlds. It's not runny at all, so I hardly get any smears. It verges on the dry side, but it's not so thick that it makes my lashes look glaringly mascara-ed. Instead, they look naturally full and long. The curved brush allows me to reach every sing lash. Max Factor is being discontinued in the US, so get this while you can!

NOTE: I just checked the prices for this mascara online and they are sky high! I really should have stocked up when I had the chance!!

the curved brush is great. i use l'oreal voluminous as a base coat, then follow with this for a dramatic look. doesn't clump or smudge.
edit: some people seem to think a curved brush is for curling the lashes, but it is not. it is just to reach the inner and outer lashes while coating the center lashes.
