After reading all the wonderful reviews here I bought myself 2 different shades at Target for $3.59 each. I am 37 and starting to see signs of aging in my lips, so I was looking for something to get rid of the vertical lines as well as make my thin lips look a little fuller... This does the job! I am in love with this stuff and have been wearing it almost every day. I concur with the other reviews that state even on days where I don't put it on (but have worn it in recent days) my lips seem to remain fuller on their own (no vertical lines). For the fullest look I lightly line the outer edge of my lips in a neutral color then put a decent amount of the gloss on. It tingles just a little and is not unpleasant at all. This product will not give you Angelina Jolie lips, but you will see more fullness at a price that's hard to beat!

I purchased this lip plumper in clear gloss and it feels really good. Not much tingling sensation. It did plump my lips. I have thin lips but I could tell this gloss plumped up my upper lip which has always been thin. The price is great! I have tried other lip plumpers such as lip fusion 2x and stung, also ice age plumpers. They work but why pay more when this gloss works just as well. One good thing about this gloss is the fact it has peptides in it that helps to build collagen in your lips. This can help to make lips fuller. So the more you use it, the fuller your lips will get. I plan to stick with this plumper because its as effective as the higher priced glosses.......

This stuff really works! It does noticeably make my lips look fuller. The color is lovely and the price is great. It does cause your lips to tingle but it's a pleasant sensation. This is now my lip gloss of choice!!

Even though my lips were a good size, I've always wanted larger, fuller lips without the need of lip surgery. I tried using normal lip gloss, but it never really gave my lips the fuller look I wanted. Then I saw the N.Y.C. Lip Plumper at Target and for its cheap price, I simply couldn't resist at least giving it a try. After using it, my lips almost immediately got this tingling, cooling sensation that was really nice. After about a two or so minutes, my lips became fuller and larger and still looked natural. I would recommend this to anyone who would like fuller lips at a cheap price. It is amazing and not even all that sticky. I love this product. It is wonderful. :)

Love the tingling feeling that I get from this product; it does seem to plump up my lips without being overdone. Love the color too. The glossiness is great, not too sticky but still slick and sexy.

Love this color on my lips and against my NC 30 skintone (: their is a slight tingling effect and it gives off shine forever. Surprising it does plump my lips a little and makes them fuller. The rosey color and perfect sticky-ness makes this into my top 5 lipglosses. The packaging is a slanted tip and I really like the new design that NYC has. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!

I love this! An excellent gloss that leaves lips ultra shiny and soft as silk. The plumping effect is nill - the product relies mainly on the shine factor, which does make your lips looks a bit fuller and it does have a great cooling effect which is neat. Makes you feel like you've just brushed your teeth. A nice touch. Overall, a excellent product for the price - dirt cheap- and a great color. Can't wait to try the others as well.

For the price, this is a really nice gloss. I purchased this gloss in Plum Tart, and liked it enough that I bought the Peach Parfait color to try as well. On me, this is more of a mauve shade than plum, but the color works well for me. It is pretty moisturizing and feels good on the lips. As for the plumping part, it does do something, because I feel a slight tingle and my lips do look slightly fuller with it, but it isn't a lasting effect. Even with that, I would definitely repurchase this; for the price you can't go wrong.

This review is for Lippin' Large in Pink Tu-lip.Because I cannot add a product i am reviewing the product under this version of that lip gloss.
Pros:
The plumper actually plumps my lips with out a burning sensation. It has a very refreshing/cooling sensation.
The color is a gorg medium pink with golden shimmer.
the color is pretty opaque.
dirt cheap!!!
This is comparable to BE buxom lip gloss which are my HG glosses but a fraction of the price.
squezy tube for easy application.
cons: its limited edition so I cannot buy back ups.

The name is a bit misleading; I think this is more of a golden mauvey-pink than a true plum (which I expect to be a cool shade, not warm like this, but no biggie). I do find that these do something to my lips and whether it's actual plumping action or just an illusion of making them *look* smoother and thereby fuller, it's fine with me. I have quite a few of these now; this one, the two new LE ones from Berry Bloom (Mulberry and Tu-lip), a light peachy-pink shimmer from last summer, and a couple others in addition to this one from the orignal line (a pink without shimmer and a sheer shimmery one). They all have the same scent & taste, that ginger/cinnamon/whatever it is that creates an intense tingle that my SO hates because it lingers, haha. Lasting power and pigment is pretty good, if not on the sheer side for about half of them. You can tell by looking which ones are more pigmented than the others, so it's not a big surprise. Texture is definitely sticky, almost like a gel, but not quite as thick and tacky compared to a couple other brands (L'Oreal CJ's and Lancome JT's, for example), and I don't get that funky white goo on my lips like with those. My only complaint is that the writing (at least on mine) seems to rub off the tubes after awhile, so you don't know which is which at that point. Other than that and for the price, I think these are pretty good. Probably the best drugstore lip plumper I've found yet.

This lip plumper feels nice on the skin. Alittle sticky but definetly worth it. For only a couple bucks you cant beat it ladies. Its slightly tingling it feels good on the lips not over powering. for people on the tanner side the peachy color is nice.

There has to be a bit of common sense when using any lip plumping product. It does have cinnamon oil in it and if you are allergic to that ingredient do not use this gloss. They have mixed it with ginger and vitamin E, and this is the tiniest amount of cinnamon oil. Pure cinnamon oil can take the varnish off of wood furniture, and I don't mean the home fragrance kind.. I mean just basic oil they use for cosmetics. It's very potent stuff. If you have sensitive skin, then chances are your lips will be as well. I notice a cooling feeling more than a tingle or burn. It's very glossy, and the taste is a little strange but nothing I can't handle. Does it plump my lips? Maybe slightly... but I have full lips already. I think this is good to condition and that always makes lips appear fuller.

I really like this gloss. I don't know the name of the one I have, but it's a peachy nude color. I don't mind the tingling and I don't notice a taste or smell like some reviewers have. I find that my lips feel soft even after the shine/color wear off. It has a nice consistency and the color payoff is stronger than a typical gloss. I have small, wrinkled lips and this made my lips look less lined and juicy. I likey.

I liked the color selection, the packaging, the price, the applicator style, and the consistency of the gloss- it was a little bit sticky, but not overpoweringly so but I cannot stand the smell/flavor of this gloss. I know that it is a plumping gloss, so there will be a tingly effect, but generally that's done with cinnamon. Whatever they use in this one is different... cinnamon, ginger and something else (all flavors/scents/tastes I like alone, but not combined.) It was actually almost painful, and I do not have sensitive skin... well, I wouldn't go so far as painful, but definitely irritating. It felt like my lips were being iced down, then lit on fire, which isn't a pleasant sensation. Between that, and the taste I just couldn't make myself like it, so I gave it to a friend who doesn't mind so much. The color was kind of a shimmery peach/nude/gold tone which was alright, but not quite the shade I thought I was getting- over all a bit of a disappointment for me. I'll be sticking with the Maybelline Shiny Sensational gloss for now.
Edit: I still like the Maybelline gloss better- however- This stuff has kinda grown on me- Maybe my lips were having a sensitive day the day I wrote the original review, but the plumping sensation is not objectionable... also, the color is not as bad as I had imagined, it's almost clear, with just a tad bit of peach coloring. I'll give it 4 lippies instead of 3.

This was a good all-in-one product, though I never seem to notice much plumping from any product making this claim. The tube applicator was slightly awkward on the outside borders of the lips. The color and consistency was really nice, but the color wore away pretty quickly....long before the glossiness does. Inexpensive enough to try many of the colors without feeling the pinch.

I really like this lip gloss. I really love the color and the tingly feel. I don't really know how much of a plumping effect it has, but for the price, it is a good gloss. Definitely one of my faves .

Bought this in the plum color -- I have a pale olive complexion, and am heading into my mid-40's, so my once full lips are thinning out.
Pros: price, lasts better than other drugstore lip plumpers, works better than other drugstore plumpers -- I actually saw a slight difference! (and honestly, I wouldn't know about higher end products -- I usually stick to the drugstore counter), color was subtle and flattering, seemed soothing rather than drying. Okay scent/taste
Cons: on the sticky side.
