I do not like this on me. I sprayed some on at Gordmans while shopping. I had to go into their bathroom and wash it off. Strong, stale and cheap smelling on me. Lots of florals and citrus smell. No warmth at all. I am sure on the right person this is nice but not on me.

I picked up a small bottle for seven bucks so I am glad I wasn't out a lot of money. This one is not a winner for me. I was expecting a lot more fruit but all I got is lot of floral, with very prominent orange blossom. And I don't like orange blossom. Hmm, its kind of strange but to me it smells simular to MJ Daisy except Daisy is more grassy and doesn't have fruity dry down like Mambo.
I may try to use up my small bottle but this is not my kind of scent. It smelled cheap and dated to me, sorry gals:((

I think I was at marshalls with my friend one summer day and we were looking thru the fragrances and she pointed this one out too me. She said her aunts wear this.. so I wanted to smell it and I loved it. I can see why they all wear it. I would wear this when we went to the beach and it reminds me of those carefree summer days. This fragrance is strong and it stays on forever..it smells warm and fruity and kind of floral. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it and have even been asked by guys where I got it so they can give it to their wife!! Perfume is a very personal item and it is not a one size fits all, so if u don't like strong sents or fruity floral ones, this is NOT for u!!

A little tart at first, but after a few minutes it becomes sweet, soft, warm and fresh. I'm loving it and am garnering compliments on the scent. Definately fruity (mango) and soft floral (orange blossom). Very soft drydown with a little spicy heat from sandalwood and ginger flower.

Well I think almost everyone here is talking about the women's perfume because the men's one is awesome! My SO has some and we both love it! YUM... Never smelled the women's though and don't think I want to after reading the reviews! The men's though is definitely a staple in his collection! I would recommend it!

Yuck! I bought this for fun today for $5.99 at Marshall's to celebrate my Latin dancing classes that I love and had no clue what it would smell like...hoped for fruity/vanilla/tropical flowers. Instead got chemical-musky, stale freesia or something foulness. That's what I get for being an impulse buyer!

Ew, I don't like this scent. I got a small bottle as part of a collection a few years ago. Against my better judgment, I wore it to work one day and overheard one of my coworkers saying that I smelled cheap. Not that I normally care what others say, but I kinda agree. That perfume was instantly was given away. Yuck.

I like this alot. Ity is not my favorite but one I use foten enough. When i wear it people always compliment me or ask what it is. You don't want to over do it though because it is kind of strong.
It's fresh yet warm and intriguing.

As I have said before, I have no shame and will try anything. I saw a gift set on clearance at Winners (the canadian equivalent of TJ Maxx) that had been ripped open so I thought I would give it a go. I ingored the revulsion I felt at seeing the sunset-colored shrinkwrapped bottle and spritzed the teensiest bit on. It opened fruity-florally, yeesh.... and in about ten minutes evolved into a not great but not horrible greenish-white floral, somewhat reminiscent of EA 5th Avenue, but not nearly as good. In about two hours, the teensy bit on my hand smells like basic neutral musk. I've smelled worse, but this to me is not a hidden gem by any means. Some of the other reviews for Mambo are a scream! There are hours of entertainment to be had on MUA if you know where to look. 2&1/2 lip. No sale.

I like this scent, it's very rich. I will say that if you apply too much you'll spend the day with a bad headache .. i'd know from experience. Just apply a small dab and it should last through out the day. To me it's a floral scent with hinted spice in it. Very lovely. I usually wear it to work. I wouldnt say it's my favorite and I honestly would not repurchase. I like the scent but don't like it enough to go repurchase it. My hubby loved this scent.

Ewww... something about this just smells trashy to me. A friend of mine used to wear this ALL the time. When a whole bunch of us were on a trip to her beach house together everyone was constantly complaining about her perfume (esp. the boys)! It wasn't just that she wore too much; it was honestly just bad. My friend Mark even tried to throw the bottle out, but she found it in the trash!

I love this scent, I have no idea what "notes" it has and all that crap, all I know is that I love it and it lasts ALL day, no need to ever reapply.

I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews. This really isn't a bad fragrance. I grew tired of it over time, but I think that this could work for women and girls of all ages. However, it all depends on chemistry, so this can smell different on you than on the next person. I owned Mambo in the mist version, but it still had great staying power. Many complain about this being too strong, but I'd recommend the light body spray to those people, because I found this to be a very wearable/casual variation of the scent. I would still call it a deep, musky type of scent, but there are also some lighter, citrus undertones to it as well. I actually think that Mambo is in the same fragrance-family as Victoria's Secret Very Sexy, which is a bit spicy and woodsy. I liked how this went well with my chemistry. I wouldn't buy it again, only because I am now bored with it. However, I still appreciate this scent. I think it would make a sexy choice for nighttime.

My senior year of high school I wore Mambo and always got complimented on it by guys and girls. Looking back 6 years later, it's not my favorite but occasionaly I'll wear it for a night out. A very musky smell.

I absolutely love this perfume. This is the kind of scent I like- not too strong but noticeable. Just be careful not to use too much though. It can get a bit heavy. When it comes to the body wash and lotion I'd rather not use it. I don't like the thought of washing my body in so much fragrance and the lotion's too thin. A few spritzes of the perfume won't hurt but too much fragrance can be irritating.

At first I thought this fragrance was too strong for me, and I barely used the bottle. I don't know if my chemistry changed or what, but when I tried it again, I liked it so much, it's now one of my staples for fall/winter. This was years ago, and I've repurchased several times. I can't really pinpoint the notes, but it just smells great and warm. Love the "sunset" colors on the bottle.
