At one point of in life, I got curious and addicted with powders (blushes and face powders) that I bought these MSFs. Out of curiosity, I purchased Redhead (which I already finished), Pink Porcelain and Blonde MSFs.

I kept on researching online on how to use it and yes, you can use these MSFs as a blush, a highlighter nor a face powder. It depends on how you want to use it.

At first, I tried using these MSFs as a powder blush but since the color is too light for me, it doesn't really show on my skin. Then, I tried it as a highlighter. It was horrible! It made my skin imperfections even visible with just a light application!

Now, I am using my MSFs as a face powder and it's so-so okay for my skin. I am just emptying the pan of these so that I won't feel guilty of purchasing it.

I will not repurchase ANY MSFs anymore in the future.

I love love LOVE this bronzer, I use it in 'Medium-Dark' as i just like a light colour and not too orangey, regular MAC bronzers were too pigmented and just looked orangey on my skin. So the mineralize skinfinish is just perfect! There's also more product in it as it has the 'dome shape' to it so its definitely worth the money :)

LOVE IT...I'm caramel skin tone so I do a quick swipe on the cheekbone and I'm done. When the light hits my face, I sparkle lol...a little goes a long way and it's best to start by the hairline and work down so it blends well

I got this product as a christmas gift. I really like it! I've never worn bronzer before but it adds dimension and shimmer to my face. I only wear a little or else it will make my face look too heavy with makeup. I won't repurchase this product since I know MAC is expensive. I'm a drugstore junkie and I will look for a dupe!

I picked up Mineralize Skinfinish today in Soft and Gentle...I hate the "bronzed look", but I wanted something to punch up my skintone a bit, and add some contour and a tiny bit of color. I've only worn it once, both inside the store and outside in natural light, and it seems to work wonders. I was afraid it would be too shiny, but it's not...just adds a glow. I used it on my brow bones too, to add a little shimmer, and on cheekbones....basically the same place you'd put bronzer. It did even out my complection and gave it a nice glow without screaming fake tan. I might even consider purchasing the next darkest color, to use for more contouring and maybe even as eyeshadow.,,,seems very versatile and goes really well with the new "Style Warrior" collection. Won't buy again (I don't think) because I never finish anything...:)

One word: BLAH! This product is the equivalent to drugstore makeup. Boring, nothing special, and not worth the price.

A MUST HAVE. They are so heavily pigmented that you only need a really little amount for a glowing effect / coverage. With the curve surfaced on the top, this would last you for the longest time even if you use it daily! After purchasing MSFs, I asked myself WHY DID I EVEN bother buying those drugstore brands which i have to apply like 2-3 thick coats just for their pigment to show up and finishing the product in like a month, as well as causing me to breakout due to the high amount of dose from reapplying those brands.. anyways. I LOVE MACS MSFs.. it's like love at first sight.

I own a lot of Skinfinishes, and I'm just in awe how it just helps my skin glow! I had to stop myself from buying anymore (I own about 20 diff. colors). I use the 187 skunk brush. It can be layered with different Skinfinishes without looking overdone, or too shiny. Seriously!

Great product. Makes my skin look fresh, glamourous, sparkly and luminous but not too glittery. The shade I got is on the light side so it's not used as a bronzer but I prefer it that way.The price tag is a little high but it's something that will probably last me a good year and maybe then some. So for that I will say it is well worth the money. I can't believe I haven't bought this sooner. The MAC SA informed me that they produce these by baking them in an oven for 13 hours. Weird!

I love the MAC MSFs. They just give you such a radiant glow to your cheek area. They're good to use as a highlighter, blush or/and bronzer (even good as an e/s).

I agree with most people that it does emphasize pores or imperfections. So, if you don't want your pores and blemishes emphasized, I don't suggest this product. Another thing I don't like is the price; it is freak'n 25 dollars!! However after considering how much and how big the NARS blushes are in comparison, I feel somewhat more justified on spending 25 dollars on a MSF. If you are a avid MAC collector, you definitely need one of these in your collection!

I just bought the "NEW" MAC mineralize skinfinish in "BLONDE" , and it's awesome, really get the the Red Carpet Hollywood glow effect, apply it just above the cheek bones below eyes and upwards towards temples, on the nose and chin , gives a really nice flush , pared with Nars orgasm blush and it really gives off the "ahem" flush you get after u know what!! Ha Ha

This is an amazing product by itself. I could wear this by as is. I could use it as a setting powder, a bronzer. I love it so much. Just gives your skin this amazing finish. Just gives your skin an extra ooomph and you glow, and not the bad type of glow either. I absolutely believe this is one of my HG's and beginners need this product!

I own this product in Medium Dark. Actually I was debating whether to put yes or no for rebuying this product...I thought it was pretty good, but when I tried Nars Bronzer in Laguna, I basically switched over to that, since I much prefer it. I found that with the Nars Laguna, you need to use a lot less product. With the Medium Dark Mineralize Skinfinish, you need to use a lot more to get the same effect. However, I do like that it doesn't have any sparkle in it, whereas the Laguna could do with just a bit less sparkle.

I have been afraid of bronzer for my entire life. I am so pale I thought bronzer would jump off my skin and look blotchy. I used to feel the same way about blush but once I decided to try it I found it highlighted my face, gave me some color, and didnt make me look like a clown. Once I got comfortable with blush I thought, hey what the hell, lets give bronzer a try. So I got this MAC stuff and gave it a go. I bought 2 colors, one pinky and one brownish. I tried the brownish color first because I thought it would make me look like perhaps I have a little tan/color on my pale skin. I made sure to start off with a little bronzer and gradually build up to the color I thought was suitable for my skin tone. It worked out quite well. Considering this was a dark color for my skin and I was still able to blend it and build up the color, I liked this product. I thought it would be more shimmery but it actually appears quite matte on my face. It blends really well though and I think most everyone could use this product to give their skin some color. Its not streaky and looks very natural.
