This lotion/puree is absolutley amazing... I am not sure how good of a job it does at moisturizing your skin, because I use it on top of a shea butter lotion i use every night and day, but it smells WONDERFUL. Its called a puree for a reason, everytime you put it on it feels and smells like you cut up chunks of strawberries and smothered them all over your body. There is no other smells of chemicals or additives- it smells exactly like fruit, nothing more nothing less. I also love that there products are as natural as they come, and they do not test on animals... you would be shocked if you really knew how many companies do actually test on animals. Smells amazing, all natural with no added chemicals and no testing on animals? its a win win... however you do pay the price as their products are not cheap. They have several sales through out the year- usually in Nov and Dec that help a little with the prices. I will pay the money for this product though... its well worth every penny.

I bought this solely for the smell, which I think is absolutely delicious. Reminds me of some sort of candy I had as a child. Putting it on makes me feel wonderful.
As far as moisturising goes, it's very light. Speads easily and quickly, but it doesn't do much for dry patches, and sometimes leaves a sticky residue if you don't rub it in 100%. But like I said, I use it more for the yummy smell!

This product smells just like a fruit smoothie at first but after a few minutes it tends to get a chemical-y fake strawberry smell. It isn't terrible, and I feel like I keep going back and forth between smelling the fruit smoothie and chemical scent. Like other reviewers have said, this is a light lotion, but the bottle says it is for normal skin so I can't complain about that. I really like the pretty pink color, but I wish that it didn't contain artificial colors. This was my first bodyshop product and I really wasn't overly impressed.

The smell of fake strawberry is very strong and may be too sweet for some people. After applying, it doesn't have a sticky feeling which I liked. It helps a little as a moisturizer. A little goes a long way so I won't be repurchasing this product for a long time.

Beautiful smell and texture, its like a gel very light weight. I don't feel that it moisturizes but I would repurchase just because of the smell and the feeling of the gel texture when applying.

The Body Shop´s strawberry body lotion smells like the summer! A bit too sweet, but yet great. It feels a little sticky on my skin. You just need a little amount of the product each time, cause a little goes a long way. I will try other body lotions instead of repurchasing this, but that does not mean that is is a bad product. It is ok+

Not wanting to beat around the bushes aimlessly,this body puree is very good as a moisturiser for months dat dun require heavy hydration,namely monsoons and summer...amazing fragrance-freshly crushed strawberries,though some may find it overpowering!(my dad keeps complaining its 2 strong! :-| ) Lasts almost the entire day! Winters need heavy creams so use body butters then cz in humid months dey leave d skin oily n yuck..dat is wen d body puree comes to ur rescue!

What all things do I look for in a moisturizer?
# Moisturization capability(obviously!)
# Price
# Fragrance
# Long term effect (does it give a glow?,is my skin better?)
# Texture and amount of hydration it gives(is it creamy,watery?,gel like,is it suited for that season of the year?)
So here goes-It is good moisturizer-IF it's about 20-22 C(about 77 F).And your skin is quite normal or just about a little dry.I used this right after a bath,it did moisturize but definitely not like a great cream would(say a good CLARINS or Clinique cream would).If you have a parched skin or you live in colder climates,using this alone would certainly not help. I found the fragrance a bit too candy like,though my boyfriend loved it!The texture sure is like a puree more like smoothie..But one thing that this lotion score in is it's ability to get absorbed in the skin within a minute.Had it been dirt cheap I might have bought it.But because it's not,I'll definitely not repurchase it(there are better creams you get get in that price)
It's not bad but it's definitely NOT great.So my hunt for a HG moisturizer still goes on.

It feels sticky and watery but not greasy when applied for few hours. It moisturizes my normal skin not my dry feet though. Smells pretty good. It makes my skin glow. I'll repurchase.

This product smells *wonderful.* However, it provides very little moisture. It's kind of nice during the summer when you don't want anything too heavy, but it leaves my skin feeling kind of sticky. Also, the scent wears off pretty quickly, so if you want to go around smelling like strawberries you should probably buy the perfume oil instead.

awful it smells like calpol!!!!!its such a medicated fake strawberry scent really i cant stand it i put it on once and just thought i smelt like a walking bottle of strawberry flavoured anti biotic!

Love it! Has this cooling feeling when applied, but this happens only some times. Smells like fake strawberries, but I still like it. (:

This was my first body lotion, and after I am finished with it I moved on to other cheaper alternatives and so far I've tried Vaseline and Bath & Body works. Both didn't work out for me- Vaseline made my skin itches and B&BW caused me to have rashes and red spots. ): So, so far this is the only body lotion that is light and moisturizing, and doesn't give me problems so I gave it 5 instead of a initial 4.
Too bad I missed the sale, it was at SGD$9.90! I suggest you picking this up at a sale if you've got a chance to, it's really worth.

I use this lotion on my hands only since my skin is too sensitive for most scented moisturizers out there. It smells delicious but it's way too watery to keep my hands moisturized for a long time... seconds after I apply it (after washing my hands), my hands still feel tight.

The Body Shop is my favorite place to buy lotions. I use the body butters for more intense moisture, and this one for light moisture (like in the summer). I love how this smells. It's definitely different than a lot of other strawberry scented products - it's a very candy sweet smell. But I love it and get a lot of compliments on it. I too wish they made a body spray like it! This lotion is heavily scented, so beware of that if you are sensitive to smells or prefer something less obvious. I like that it is lightweight and immediately sinks in to my skin, so there's no greasiness at all. Nice stuff. A little pricey but overall worth it.

This smells like fake strawberries , like a strawberry shortcake doll another reviewer mentioned , but I love it ! I wish they had a body spray in this scent . Too bad it also contains parabens and I am not sure if its vegan either . I probably will not repurchase because It will take forever to use it all .

I got it as gwp. it smells too sweet for my taste but for strawberry freaks, it might be a big plus for you. The packaging is poor. The body lotion in plastic bottle is hard to squeeze. the texture is light and not sticky at all, which is pretty good, but at the same time, it's too light to moisturize for dry weather. my neutrogena or bath and body works work much better than this so i'll not purchase it.

Different, but nice. Smells like sweet strawberries. A very light, almost gel-like consistancy. Absorbs quickly. Only cons: not an intensive moisturizer (great for summer, though), slightly runny, and a tiny bit sticky after absorption. I will repurchase.
