I used to love this hairspray when I was younger, I'm not sure if the formula has changed or what, but it's just not the same stuff I bought 10 years ago. I hadn't used any Bed Head products for quite some time but recently decided to give Hard Head another try. Big disappointment. It still gives amazing hold, I know most people don't like crunchy hair spray but I actually do. My big issue with it? The horrible white residue it leaves all over my dark redish black hair. Sad face.

I don't use hairspray very often at all; only for special occasions, or when I curl my hair (which I almost never do because it's so hard to work with...)
When I use this hairspray, it makes my hair feel so crunchy and hard. Not soft or touchable at all. It does hold my curls pretty well, though.
I probably won't repurchase this because I just can't stand the way it makes my hair feel.

My latest and greatest hairspray! There isn't much more to say other than it holds my style with very little product, combs out easily, doesn't flake, and doesn't dull my hair. Plus, it doesn't stink. And you can always use the giant can as a weapon in a pinch.

I loved this stuff, especially when you used with bed head manipulator. It'll be an all day hold used together. But even by itself it has a great hold on hair. But as I said in my review for manipulator unless you get the value can at salons (that will last you a good 2-3 months with regular use) it's kind of costly. The smaller can will run a few dollars cheaper that the value size (the smaller one was around $15-17, and the larger $18-21 the last time I bought them) but it will last you about a month and a half with regular use. My only other complaint with the hair spray was before I had a problem where the sprayer nozzle fell off, on several different bottles.

Ehh... this product is ok, but I'm not a hairspray person. I don't use hairspray every day only when I'm doing something special to my hair or if I'm going out. I do not like hairspray that feels crunchy or stiff or weighs my hair down at all. I typically use Rusk W8less hairspray because it holds for what I need yet it still leaves my hair manageable and moveable. That being said, this Hard Head Hairspray does have some really good holding power. It held my pompadour type half-updo with no pins needed at all for pictures, so it is potent. It would probably be good for making big Jersey hair or something. hahaha now I'm thinking about AquaNet and it is making me laugh.
I got this as a free gift- trial size. I'm going to keep it in my travel bag, but I wouldn't actually buy this product. The Big Sexy Hair- hairspray is better and I like the scent better too and of course I love my W8less which costs less than either of them.

For extreme hold, or special occasions like prom or a wedding where a fancy updo cannot come loose I would recommend this. I was given this as a gift and at first was in love with it, I used it mainly for teasing, which it isn't the best for. For teasing I recommend Tresemme Tres Two extra hold.. The formula is very sticky but when wearing my hair in a bun or ponytail this does a great job at keep my hair in place but aside from that nothing special for $14. For this one - it's good quality just depends what your hair-needs are.

I only bought this hairspray for 2 reasons: I love TIGI products for the most part and because my HG hairspray Big Sexy Hair wasn't at the store and I needed some asap.
This hairspray definitely holds, but it makes your hair kind of crunchy and un-touchable (which I hate because I like hair to look and feel pretty even when doused in hairspray). Also, it only holds a lot for me for the first hour, then my waves started to fall and go straight. (This may be just because I have fine hair?)
Anyways, I'm sure that many would like this products holding ability, but if you want a better hairspray check out the Big Sexy Hair products!

I do not love it but I like it a lot. It does make you hair hard so it does what it should do. I like to add volume to my hair by teasing so it locks the style in place for sure. What I want from the hair spray is to hold the style in place and not to make my hair very stiff. So this one partially does what I want. However this is the best hair spray I have used so far.

I just finished a can that I've had for over 5 years, and worked great the whole time even though the can rusted haha. I have very coarse and this hair that normal hairspray doesn't work at all on, this is the only one that holds at all, and holds all day. With that said I am not a daily hairspray person, and if you are you will prob. get buildup from it.

I used this stuff for a while and I really liked it but it left little clumps in my hair after a while of using it no matter what I washed it with. I stopped using it and it went away so now I'm using BigSexyHair's Spray and Play and Spray and Stay and I like it much more.
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Red Eyes: Blue
Awesome hair spray! Holds my style even on the windiest of days. If you need "cement" this is the one for you. Beware though, it is a bit pricey at about $14.00 a can but it's worth it.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Brown
This is my favorite hairspray. Holds like a dream and the smell isn't too offensive. Hard to comb through once it's dried, but that's why I like it, so make sure you hair looks like what you want it to look like before you hit that trigger.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Black Eyes: Blue
If you have thin colored hair I would not reccommend this product to you (as a stylist) It caused a great deal of breakage to my poor poor hair. If you have a decent amount of hair and use it wisely you should be safe. It has a strong hold and smell! If you're a smoker BEWARE !!
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Medium Hair: Black, Curly, Fine Eyes: Brown
Great hairspray!!! A lil goes a long way, not too sticky or stiff (at least for me), smells good, lasts a long time!
Age: 30-35 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
My favorite hairspray. Very strong hold which works well for my ponytail, the smell is nice and not as overwhelming as in Masterpiece. A good buy, although for this the nozzle gets clogged pretty easily as well as for other Tigi hairsprays.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
This is the only hairspray that I've tried so far that truly holds my hair in place. When my hair was scene, It could go all day and still be insanely spiky and poufy and well, scene.
Now I use it mostly for when I curl my hair and it never fails me.

The packaging does not lie.
It gets your hair super stiff, but does have great hold.
It's perfect for the scene kid in you.

I have long, fine, very layered brown hair which I like to tease to give volume. In my huge collection of hairsprays I have two cans of this (one is empty, but the bottle is so attractive I don't want to throw it out ^^).
The first time I used it, it was the BEST hairspray - it lasted almost the whole day and gave my hair great volume.
Sadly for such an expensive product the can didn't last very long. Also on two occasions my friends have told me I had the dreaded hairspray dandruff (disgusting, big white flakes), and this so far hasn't happened with my other sprays. The nozzle also gets clogged easily.
The second time I purchased this I don't know if the formula has changed, or what, but to my huge disappointment it DID NOT WORK anymore. It did not hold up my teased hair at all and 2/3 of the can is still sitting on my shelf collecting dust.
I'm willing to give this product one more try in hopes that it will give my hair the same volume as it did in the past, but I have been losing faith in Bedhead as the 2 other products in their range that I've tried - Maxxed Out Hairspray and Cocky - completely failed.

The best thing about this spray is that is sprays a wide path and sprays so lightly that it doesn't push your hair out of place applying. It goes on very light. On the down side, it doesn't hold very stiff and you seem so use more trying to get the product on heavy enough. I still went back and bought another can and my teen daughter likes it too because she doesn't like a stiff hold.

well it does make my hair look hard, but thats it
