Holy cow PERFECTION!!!!! I LOVE this! I snagged it at Sephora for $7 in Halifax. It's a beautiful pinky nude color with a hint of warm shimmer. The gloss itself is thin and easy to apply and has no tackiness to it whatsoever. I can even kiss my husband without getting him all sticky! Definite repurchase.

THE ONLY LIP GLOSS 4 ME! I bought this at Sephora inside JCP couple weeks ago (Cargo is also at Ulta). They did not go out of business. They sold the older inventory and reformulated these Blue Ray HD lip glosses.
They go on thin; not like a thick gooey liquid vaseline found in cheaper brands. The thinness of the gloss allows you to control the amount of color you want to build up on your lips.

The reformulated gloss does leave a lasting color lasting couple hours later. The glossiness is gone after a couple of hours, of course, but a hint of color is left behind. The color does not dry out your lips. If your lips feel dry, then touch up with the gloss again which is moisturizing. I purchased Vermont (shimmery peachy bronze) and Montego (rosey brown).

The applicator uses a doe shaped sponge applicator not brush. The size contains 0.16 oz. It is bigger than the other brands of gloss and cost $6 to $10 more than MAC or Bare Escentuals. However, it is in the same price range as Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Estee Lauder.

The color selection is very limited (maybe 8 at the most), not like MAC's color selection. However, I love these glosses, and got rid of my other glosses since I will not be using them anymore. Despite not having a huge color selection, I personally find that I always reach for the same 2 types of colors anyway regardless of which brand I use. I just got lucky that Cargo Blue Ray carried the 2 types of colors I always use a shimmery peach bronze (Vermont) and a rosey brown (Montego)

I have the blue_ray lipgloss quad, the one that's in the black palette with a mirror & I love it.
It really makes my dry lips look so smooth, shinny and not sticky at all. It. Does not last super long but nothing does on my lips anyways. This is HG status for the the time being.

This is one of my favorite lip glosses. It always looks gorgeous in photos and it doesn't feel too sticky. The cons are that it is expensive and it seems to leak a little.

Pros:
- Pretty packaging (although too bulky)
- Minty

Cons:
- Dries out my lips, more so than a lipstick, not at all moisturizing
- Very thin consistency
- Sheer
- Tube is bigger than a standard gloss although not much product is in it
- Does not last on the lips AT ALL

I got it for 75% off and even at this price i will not repurchase.

Luckily I got this while it was on sale!!! I bought this in "Laredo"....it looked like a light nude gloss in the tube! This is probably the worst lipgloss that I have ever purchased!!! It had no "gloss" effect to it at all. I put it on my lips and it was blah. No wonder why this company is possibly going out of business. I would never purchase again...it sucked! lol

Bought this on sale at Sephora, so that's probably why my rating is higher than average.

It is light and goes on sheer. No, the color does not last but it stains you lips nicely. It is not sticky and is great if you want to give your man a kiss cause it won't leave sticky red goo on him.

Great feeling, has a slight plumping effect.

If you read the box the Blu-Ray High Def has to do with it being made for upclose filming as it is suppose to plump up the lips and minimize fine lines. It does not mean it is high pigment.

*sigh* Did Cargo go out-of-business? I think so. I saw their makeup outrageously marked down on Sephora. Sad. Anyway, I saw this lipgloss has not gotten the best reviews. So as a woman of science, I decided to really, throughly test it. I think I bought it 6 weeks ago for half the regular price in Belize. I've worn this lipgloss many many times and these are my thoughts:

I like it. There. I said it. I went against the majority of my beloved and very much so trusted MUA users. I think this is a good lipgloss. I think it's one of my favorite. (As I'm writing this description I'm wearing it.) I've never had a lipgloss feel soo... not sticky. It's like a moisturizer for your lips (even after it wears off). It's minty too. It has shine. It's a modest shine though! I don't like very shiny lips but this is perfect. The pigmentation is disappointing. I think more people would have been happy with it if they advertised it as "sheer color" since that's more accurate than "high definition."

Overall, I'm not normally a lipgloss lover. Normally it's drying and sticky and tastes like... plastic(?) This lipgloss is non-offensive. For anyone in L-O-V-E with lippies, well take my word this may not be for you.

If you're familiar with Cargo's lipgloss, and like it, you'll probably like this as well. The color payoff is about the same, mediocre at best, but the non sticky gloss is still as good as ever. It feels great on the lips and the blu-ray has a really nice minty effect on the lips. The compact is an improvement over the cute but impractical silver containers, but overall I dont think there is so much different to it that it warrants being more expensive than the regular lip gloss quads.

Niceish texture that could be found in a cheaper product. No colour. Does not last - seems to run off lips because it's so greasy. Not much included in the package for the price. Messy to put on - either with finger or inconvenience of toting around a lip brush. Not worth the cost at all!

QUAD REVIEW (read on after the break for the tube review): I'm not really sure why this is marketed as a high definition product. Yes, I get that many "high def" products are a marketing ploy anyway, but some are stellar - like Cargo's Blu Ray powder. This, however, is not. The collection of four shades (mauve, light pink, neutral peach/gold, and rose with golden shimmer) may as well be one big block of clear lipgloss. They have no color payoff, but they feel nice on the lips and have a fresh, minty scent. The gloss also doesn't leave my lips feeling dry after an hour. At $30, however, this really isn't worth it - a $7 tube of Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lipgloss in clear has similar staying power and fragrance. I wouldn't purchase this again, but I'll use it up, because as I mentioned, it does have some redeeming qualities, like the moisturization and the feel.

TUBE REVIEW: Terrible. The consistency isn't the same as the quad - it's very runny, very sheer, and does not last on the lips for more than half an hour. A total waste of $25.

I am glad I didn't pay full price for this lipgloss. I don't see anything special about it. The colors are too sheer for me, and they have no staying power. Overall, very disappointing.

The lip gloss is a nice texture like all Cargo's lipglosses (I am a fan of these) and they do seem to have a reasonable amount of staying power for gloss. The colors would work on pretty much anyone if you mix them together or wear alone. However, I have to vent about the miniscule amount you actually get of each color, for almost $30 this is a total ripoff. I'll probably buy it again just because the colors are so easy to wear and it's so darn cute. I buy packs of little lip brushes from Sally Beauty Supply and apply it with these.

This is definetly not worth 30 dollars. It does have a nice minty smell, but it doesn't last at all. All the colors just give me a clear glossy look on my lips and it fades with in 30 minutes. This was in my Cargo Gift Set and I will probably end up using it but only because I don't want to waste it.

I sucked it up and bought this quad after trying a sample of the peachy/pink color. I'm rating this separately on its aspects. Overall for color/texture: 5 lippies. Price: stupidly expensive and a 5. Packaging quality: ok if you want the quad but I really didn't although ALL the colors turn out wonderful on me. That's luck so it gets a 1. Oh and there's no brush. Would I buy again? Probably not as this will last me BUT for overall texture and unique smooth look, this is great. I don't know what BluRay technology has to do with the product composition itself other than risk Cargo trademark infraction by a mere insertion of an underscore between "blu" and "ray" but ok whatever. Overall, this gets a 3 from me because I don't think people will forgive the other packaging/color combo qualities just because I think the glosses are uber-great.

i have just tried the sample from sephora, i suppose it is the pink. flattering color for many skintones im sure, looks good on me (light skin with yellow undertones) but i dont find it to be all that special. would buy it as the set ( i really like the blush/highlighter) but wouldnt go out of my way. staying power so-so on me. my boyfriend said it looked nice on me though, but probably because I asked as I was excited about trying the sample.

I really like this product. As other reviews have mentioned the texture is wonderful. It is smooth and glossy without being gluey. i find it moisturizes my lips nicely and has enough pigment in it to last a reasonable amount of time for a gloss. It is expensive for the amount of gloss you get imo but i like it so much it didn't stop me from purchasing it for a second time so far. and the plum color on me just doesn't work, but the other three colors are great. I can't give it 5 lippies though because of the lack of brush. i HATE sticking my fingers in any kind of gloss. And I really wish they offered the colors on their own and not just in the quad.

I really like this gloss quad, they're all colors i can wear, and i'm pretty fussy. I got it in the set so it was a good price. $60 for the 5 piece set puts each piece at $12. Would i buy it alone for $30? probably not because I'm too cheap. 4 Pretty, lightly pearlescent, slightly sheer, warm colors. A pale nude, a peach, a mauve and medium pink, all slightly minty and buttery feeling. The case is nice and has a nice mirror. They are ok lasting but definitely need reapplying, which is fine for me. Enough color to be able to be seen on my pigmented lips (or to tone them down rather). If i had to do it all again i would, so yes to a purchase.

Features of the gloss include: Hyaluronic Acid Spheres, Amino Acid Peptide Chain, and Vitamin E. Benefits to those are collagen building, healing, and antioxidant.
