Gorgeous shiny light-medium plum shade for my medium skin tone!! I love how the shimmer appears more like a sheen on my lips, not a frosty shimmer! I got this in a PWP around Christmas. An excellent PWP with lots of goodies inside!! I doubt I would pay full price for this...but it's not totally out of the question. I'm glad i rediscovered this gem in my stash!

Got this the other day as a result of the SA talking to me about the new mascra...how I ended up with this, I don't know...(guess that I still had sucker written on my forehead) I do like the color, it is as every one described a plummy color. I like how it does wear off to a nice stain, and it is very moisturizing. Will continue to repurchase.

I tried this on when the saleslady insisted on it. I wouldn't have tried it if i was just by myself kuz it looks quite dark. I think it is a close match to it's sister Color Fever Shine lipstick called 'Provocative' except Provocative is more purplish with pink undertones, whereas, this one is purplish with brick-brownish undertones which (in my opinion) makes it look like a truer plum colour. This is much lighter than it's sister colour though. I will purchase this again. Very versatile colour. Love the Lancome Color Fever Lipsticks! However, I wish it was exactly the same (fragrance-wise and colour-wise) as the European version ones. Bummer! I guess I'll have to adapt to the Canadian version as I have no choice. I do have to say that at Cdn $31 (before taxes) it's quite steep for a lipstick. Wish they would make their products more affordable for the general consumers. EDIT: Returned it because this was wayy too dark for my liking.

$25 for this lipstick is steep for me! But I love the shade. It is plummy and perfect for dark skinned or tanned gals like me. It puts a little pop of color to my face. I ended up buying it because I have not seen another shade like this. I also got the Constellation Juicy Tubes lipgloss which complements Prune Drama girl quite nicely.

This is a color I normally would have passed up and not even tried on because I'm not into the "plum" colors very much, which is what this one looks like in the tube. BUT the Lancome sales lady had me try it and just to try it, I did. She loved it on me and said it looked very "polished" and was a good go-to "purse" color. It was a deeper color than I was looking for at that moment (I was trying on the nuder Color Fevers like Blazing and Bronze something but wasn't having a ton of luck) but I ended up purchasing it. I like how this color ends up looking like that berry-stained not-too-shiny not-too-bright color that I've seen in fashion shots but never quite obtained in real life. For one lipstick, this is pretty close to that idea on me and I really like it! I actually prefer the lipstick as it fades a little bit because if you apply too much, I think it is a little too dark and more of the purple comes out (which can end up making me look old and tired if I'm not careful). But, as it sinks into the lips, it looks a little lighter and more of a berry shade comes out. You can speed it along by blotting off some of the lipstick or wiping a little off with you finger. Even pressing your lips together helps fade it a bit. There is a little shimmer and shine to this lipstick but not a ton, especially as it wears off. It wears off and fades down pretty easily but that is what leaves behind the nice "stained" look that I like (and that "stain" lasts decently long actually). I have light skin, not sure but this might be even better on someone with darker skin. The formula and packaging itself is nothing special for such steep price IMO but the color is unique enough to be worth it. This one is nothing special in the tube and does not look like a color I would normally wear but ends up being nice for work or an occasion where you want to look "polished" without looking overly made-up in a lipstick that screams "lipstick." This gives good noticeable color without overpowering your look.
