Gorgeous light milky baby pink nude is the best way I can describe it. It is glossy and looks gorgeous over Rimmels eastend snob lipliner. Actually looks good over any nude lipliner. Loves it ;)

I absolutely love 1N and 3N .. so I thought for sure this would be a huge hit with me as well. On my MMM skintone though, this just made me look like a corpse! Way too beigey and very pigmented .. it was like I had just swiped concealer on my lips. This is a very beige/nude color .. which is normally a hit with me, but on my skintone, this lipstick was just entirely too light and opaque to work with my skintone. Swapped this one off pretty fast, and went back to my beloved 3N lippie!

I would buy this again if I could find it. It's the most perfect slightly peach-ish beige nude on me. Very creamy formula. Looks great with smokey eyes.

I missed out on the N collection but have been dying to try the lipsticks. I was finally able to swap for 3N and 2N. I looove 3N...gorgeous pink. But for me 2N fell flat. It didn't work with my skin tone at all. It was way too light and settled into the fine lines. It is a beautiful color that I can definitely see working on some people but on me it just looks like concealer.

I love this lipstick! It's a lot like Myth color-wise, but much less dry and chalky. I love this, especially with a dramatic smokey eye and a summer tan. It goes on very silky, but it helps to have exfoliated lips first. If this wasn't limited edition, I would DEFINITELY repurchase!

UBER beige, SMALL hinge of pink -- and you MUST exfoliate your lips before wearing or you'll look crazy. And dead. I love this lipstick for the nude look with sexy, smoky eyes. Plays down pigmented lips. I have to wear it with a gloss even on exfoliated lips because it really accentuates my dryness if I don't. Staying power isn't GREAT, but not horrid.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick. it's my favorite! it's so perfect for playing down my lips since they're fairly pigmented. i wear this all the time because i love doing a lot with eyeshadow so if i dont play down my lips they take away from my eyes but with this it works perfectly without looking like concealer. it's so great, i've never bought backups of anything, but i bought one of this!

This is a perfect nude for me when combined with 2N lipglass from the N collection. It's a light creamy pinkish beige. Without the 2N lipglass, it sort of washes me out, but not terribly, I can still wear it alone, but I prefer it with the lipglass to warm it up a little for my NC30 skin, because I don't usually wear it without the lipglass or Prrr, I wouldn't give it a perfect 5. It gives a very high fashion looking nude lip with the lipglass, I am comfortable wearing it any day. It's especially lovely when paired with bright or smoky eyes. Because it's a lustre finish, it tends to wear off rather quickly.

I would definitely purchase it again if it wasn't LE.

I was so excited when the N collection by MAC came to Australia. I was eagerly awaiting to try the 2N lipstick, despite some of the negative reviews here. I absolutly loved the colour. I have very pale skin and on me it is not too light. Although it looks horrid in the tube, on my lips its a very light milky creamy pink with a touch of beige. It seems like the best Mac lipstick colours all look scary in the tube but beautiful on the lips. The texture is very typically MAC, makes my lips dry out very quickly. And due to the nature of the colour it'll settle into every lipline and will show up every little crack and chap. Be sure to apply lipbalm underneath. It doesn't wear for very long however, as most lusture lipsticks tend to do. I however don't mind re-applying and chose to re-apply instead of using primer as it dries out my lips even more. I will hop by the MAC counter and buy another one as I absolutly adore the colour, its one I've been looking for awhile. It also on my lips does not look like Myth, as Myth comes off more peachy beige than milkly pink as 2n does. Im taking off one lippy for how dry it makes my lips, but Im almost used to it with all the Mac lipsticks now, its not that much off a big deal just a bit of a hassle. Ive found a good way to avoid chapped & dry lips being accentuated by this colour, is by lightly patting the lipstick on rather than conventionally swipping, or for even more precision I use a lip brush to pat it on.

2n is a light beige color, with the teeeeeeniest amount of pink thrown in there. It's a Lustre lipstick and goes on creamy and has a shiny finish (not glossy though). Although it is supposed to be sheer, it's quite pigmented. Now, here is where the problem starts for me. I love the nude look and I've been in the eternal search for lip primers to tone down my lip color (they're not crazily pigmented, but I like to tone them down). Actually, I had found the MAC pro "lip erase" product that was working wonders for me.

This 2n l/s, however, is too light and totally washes off my lip color, leaving them looking paler, actually, than my flesh tone! I find it's too light colored, even to use as a primer. I def. need to throw some other l/s or l/g on top to be wearable (I find it's impossible to wear alone). I'm still in search for this other color to compliment my 2n. In the meantime, I'll give it 3 lippies (cause I like the quality of the product overall; not too much the color, though) and opt for the "I will not repurchase" choice. Maybe if I find the perfect combination I'll be able to update this review and change any of my choices...

MAC 2N lipstick is part of MAC's N collection. It is described as a "creamy light pink." I do not find much pink in this lipstick. It is more of a light beige. It is a lustre lipstick, but it is quite pigmented and definitely will cover up pigmented lips.

If you have or know Myth lipstick, then 2N is basically the Lustre version of Myth.

While it does feel nice on the lips and is creamy, I find the color to be kind of garish on its own. It is very pale and beigey, and while I like nude lips this is kind of "too nude." It does look pretty with non-nude glosses on top, though.

Oh. My. Lord. Ghastly. That's it. This is horrible. It's like, off-white; I wouldn't even call it a nude. That's giving it way too much credit. Bought today (foolishly); returning tomorrow.

I am in love with this lipstick! It is the perfect light nude! I wish this was part of their regular collection... since it's not, i'll have to buy myself a few backups. This lipstick has an amazing brightening quality to it that makes my whole face look like its glowing. It's definitely a LIGHT nude.. and on my medium pigmented lips, one swipe is all i need for angelic lips:) The actual lipstick itself looks scary and extremely pale in the tube but it goes on with a creamy lustre that's perfect for the type of nudes I like. Looks great with a tan :) This lipstick, for me, is more wearable than myth. A definite keeper in my bag of nudes:)

Ok this is another one I would like to have in their regular line. It's the beige/nude that I've been looking for in a lipstick. I agree this is like the lipstick form of C-Thru. It's also on the same lines as NARS Striptease.

Wow! I went in to Nordstrom this afternoon and saw this on display and had to try it. I have highly pigmented lips and am always trying to tone them down, as I'm a big fan of bronzer and a smokey eye. This stuff is awesome! It goes on creamy and smooth, and somehow manages to mute my lips without making me look washed out. It would normally take several products to accomplish this. Doesn't feel heavy at all. Love!!!
Edited to add: I have to take off a lippie because this stuff settles into every line in my mouth. I still like it, but it's a little high maintenance for my liking. I don't want to have to run to the bathroom to check my lipstick all the time!

I got this by mistake -- I had asked for 2N lipglass and didn't check what was in the bag until I got home, at which point I figured I may as well give it a try despite thinking that it would be absolutely horrid on me. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm winter pale, with medium pigmented lips, and I have been desperate for a good nude -- like, *nude* nude -- lip, but had written off the look as unsuitable for me. This completely changed my mind. It's a nice soft, sheer golden beige. Applies similar to other lusters in terms of color payoff, which is to say it finds the precipitous balance between sheer and opaque. Because my lips are reasonably pink of their own accord, this sheer-paque characteristic tones them down enough to provide a really nice nude lip, with just enough pigment coming through to prevent me looking a corpse. On my lips, it's impossible to tell that I'm wearing a beige-y nude lipstick. It simply looks like I'm wearing a low-gloss, balmy sort of application, on low-pigment lips. I really really like it, especially given my penchant for a smokey eye. Had it not been for a happy accident, however, I NEVER would have given this lipstick the time of day. So if you're looking for a nude lip, but don't think you can pull it off, do yourself a favor and sample this (on your lips) before you give nude up for dead.

I am in love! 2N is absolutely stunning! I am NW20 with very pigmented lips and this is now my HG nude lippie! 2N is more creamy and pigmented than any other Lustre I own at the moment. This color is a creamy light beige. Honestly, 2N resembles a concealer color in the tube. On the lips, it is a gorgeous light creamy nude that does a VERY good job at muting my natural rosy lip color. As with any lipstick, you have to make sure you do not have any dry skin on your lips before applying. This color will defintely accentuate the dryness. This color stayed on well and did not settle into the lines in my lips as most creamy colors do! This is not completely opaque, it does allow some of my natural lip color to show through creating the perfect balance. I know some people will say that this looks white and washes them out, but I personally like colors like that, especially with a smokey eye. This is like C-thru Lipglass in lipstick form! I have already picked up two back ups of this color! I have not been this excited over a lip color in a while! Any girl who loves a muted lip look, this is defintely for you!
